A 10-year-old Iraqi boy allegedly recruited by Al Qaeda was about to blow himself [sic! AFP left out the "up"] in a suicide attack on Wednesday just east of Fallujah when police spotted and arrested him, a senior officer said....'The 10-year-old boy had been used by Al Qaeda in the past to place bombs,' Issawi said, adding that the child disappeared from his family home in Amariyat Al Fallujah four days ago.
'Three men aboard a van drove him to the isolated village of Shitsher (75 kilometres west of Baghdad) to prepare him for the suicide operation,' the officer said, quoting the boy's own testimony....
'The boy said he followed the instructions and when he saw people gather he approached them (ready to blow himself up) but a policeman saw him and shouted for him to go away.
'He panicked and fled but we caught up with him and found that he was wearing an explosives vest,' the officer added....

Child abuse indeed. I would like to know if this boy was kidnapped by Jihadists—this has happened with the Taliban—or if *his own parents* wanted the young boy to die a "Shahid".

This kind of abuse is so very typical of the way islam treats children in general. They are quite commonly used as sex toys, slave labor or walking bombs.
Secondly, let us not demean dogs by comparing them to these wastes of skin and bone. (One of my dogs stood between me and a pissed off thousand pound Moose and guarded me to my door.) Even the cockroaches or other vermin, unlike the scum that employ their own children as tools, toys and weapons delivery systems, have valuable uses and purposes on this planet.
Thirdly, my old woman can shoot the mites off a bees back and will be there to cover my "6" if the bullets fly.

I had an online exchange with a muslim apologist about the Russian 'suicide bombers.' Of course he claimed suicide is forbidden in the Quran hence trying to separate the attack from the ideology.
Fortunately being clued up Islam and the sly way in which these apologists operate, I took the time to correct him and explain that this was a martyrdom operation which is encouraged in the Quran/Islam, citing this reference.

A few years ago on a dinner-table a Dutch Muslima said to us, a group of # 9 Western colleagues: "I refuse to be held accountable for what "extremist terrorists" do in the name of my religion". And she was/ is one of my nicest colleagues, highly educated, well-paid job, very well integrated. Nobody at that table answered her, due to the prevailing attitude of appeasement of Westerners and of in any way not wanting to cause unpleasant situation at the table (as in my case).
But I've been thinking ever since a lot about what I SHOULD have answered her, in this setting of blissfully ignorant, so called "fair-minded" Westerners.
I think it is that I really want to say to Muslims like her;
"Yes, at least a PART of Islam, in all probability after thorough investigation of it and its motivation of "extreme terrorists" is dangerous and detrimental. And this should be widely acknowledged as such. And you, Muslimah, are voluntarily, by your own choice, following this religion.
At the very least you should declare to us where your primary loyalties lie, and decide firmly to always support Democracy over Islamic tyranny everywhere, including in Islamic countries.
Instead you refused even to CONSIDER that the religion you follow and support at least in part and in all probability is dangerous and detrimental. You appear not even prepared to investigate your religion or encourage thorough academic investigation of it, and suspending your decision on its findings. No, you just want, no, you demand, total freedom of religion, no matter what its contents are and refuse all accountability for the human group you choose to belong to.
