I can see where music is un-Isamic...Music distracts from Allah...It causes people to drum their fingers and tap their foot, usually the right one. Often music causes people to jump around contorting their bodies into all kinds of strange and perverted positions, jerking first this way and then that way...Some music even encourages women and men to have body contact...Slow dancing is so haram as to be unspeakable.

That whole post was great...I always knew that men can't take the sight of a naked breast without going berserk...I know that's what happens to me....I don't rape but I do launch into corruption...so far no one has invited me to an orgie...I have to stay away from breasts, especially naked ones, for my own and the public's safety...I saw Venus De Milo once and they had to call an Ayatollah to calm the situation.

A ban on music is a mistake. Instead, Muslim recruiters should take advantage of the natural high of music, and allow only religious songs.

I can't speak for the effect this would have on Westerners (anything in Arabic is an affront to the Western ear), but contemporary Christians have done this successfully. But, I suppose such a notion would be forbidden as innovation.

And the textual authority in the Hadith for such a ban should also be adduced. Make sure this kind of infomration is widely disseminated. It can do far more to strengthen the immune systems of those being targetted than can other appeals based on more theoretical considerations.

While eliminating bras is a much needed measure, since in Islam they probably do not have any idea about what they're buying when they marry. So at least now they can have an idea.
And, one more little thing: it's not that women want to "deceit" men. Women do not have the right to want anything. I agree with others here that a straw will come and break the camels back. No movies? No music? The youth of any nation thrive on and thirst for music. There will be trouble. Music is freedom of expression. From the cowboy listening to country music in his jacked up pickup to the low rider enthusiast listening to gangsta rap. Matters not what country you're in. The same thing holds true. you start messin' with a peoples music and you mess with who they are...all of them except for the insane mopeople who want to see the day the music died.
