Thailand: Jihadists ambush, murder six Buddhist villagers

And this Reuters article, true to form, says that the Muslims are fighting to gain autonomy in what was up until a hundred years ago a Malay sultanate -- but it does not mention, of course, that the Malay Sultanate was making war against the Siamese during the war between Siam and Burma, and Thailand conquered it in that context. That makes it Thai land by a right of conquest that has been universally recognized throughout human history -- except, of course, when it comes to Israel and to any Muslim land that is conquered by non-Muslims.

Note also the tortured language in the last paragraph: "The violence has ranged from drive-by shootings to bombings and beheadings. It often targets Buddhists and Muslims associated with the Thai state." As if "the violence" were something that is conscious and acts of its own volition. Look out, Mabel, here comes The Violence again, and it's targeting us this time!

The mainstream media will do anything to avoid saying that Islamic jihadists, the most prolific and energetic mass murders of our time, are responsible for any of the evil they perpetrate.

And finally, the fifteen scholars of the Mardin conference need to make their way to southern Thailand and clue in the Thai jihadists that "the entire world" is now "a place of tolerance and peaceful co-existence between all religious, groups and factions." Or is their declaration designed to reassure jittery Infidels, and isn't intended to dissuade jihadists from their jihads at all?

"Six killed in Thailand's insurgency-plagued south," from Reuters, April 1 (thanks to Weasel Zippers):

NARATHIWAT, Thailand (Reuters) - Suspected Islamic insurgents shot dead six Buddhist villagers in Thailand's restive south Thursday, police said, the latest attack in the troubled region bordering Malaysia.

The villagers in Narathiwat province were believed to have been ambushed, said police Colonel Sanit Suwanno...

Ten policemen and soldiers were also wounded when a roadside bomb exploded as they were traveling to the scene of the shootings, police said.

More than 3,900 people have been killed in six years of unrest as ethnic Malay Muslims fight for autonomy from Thailand's Buddhist majority in the region just a few hours by car from some of Thailand's best-known tourist beaches.

Local Muslims largely oppose the presence of tens of thousands of police, soldiers and state-armed Buddhist guards in rubber-rich region, which was part of a Malay Muslim sultanate until annexed by Thailand a century ago.

About 80 percent of Thailand's three southern provinces of Pattani, Yala and Narathiwat are Muslim.

The violence has ranged from drive-by shootings to bombings and beheadings. It often targets Buddhists and Muslims associated with the Thai state, such as police, soldiers, government officials and teachers.

What's worse is that the bias spreads like a disease.

Last year for my university Geography class I had to do a presentation on a news article. I chose one with a very similar story to the one above (on Southern Thailand). I conducted my presentation about the causes of the violence and the separatist movement, trying to be as balanced as possible by discussing several different causes - Jihad + Islam, but also other very unlikely causes such as education, political under-representation and economic. I have no doubt in my mind that I was correct about Islam being the main cause of it all.

But after my presentation, my lecturer came up to me and said "but it's mostly economics and that, not Islam, don't you think?"

Now, I really like a good peanut sauce but, I think I may start boycotting goods from Thailand.

Is there any way to find out if a company that you buy products from is owned by Moslems?

I guess the MSM and world leaders like Mohammedans and Islam. Too bad they do not do the same with non Muslims. Non Muslims are expendable and do not act like brats if they do not get their way, unlike Mohammedans who if they do not get their way go all out by use of violence and thuggery.

When your lecturer brought up economics, perhaps you should then have asked your lecturer why 9/11 was carried out by middle class Muslims from privileged backgrounds; why one of those who carried out the London atreocity left £121,000 in his will, and why we've seen Muslim doctors and engineers attempt to, and carry out other atrocities here in the West. You can bet he'd have shut up, but then again.

Ray, if the problem were, as your lecturer thinks, mainly economic and/or political, then surely the terrorists' targets would mostly be state personnel or institutions -- i.e. policemen, gov't buildings, military posts. But instead they target Buddhist civilians like farmers and forestry workers. The intent is clearly to drive out the non-Moslem population, making it all the easier for them to demand independence.

Waging war against Buddhists....yep, that's right up there with sending mentally unstable women on suicide missions....despicable.

On a bravery scale it's a minus 10.

But after my presentation, my lecturer came up to me and said "but it's mostly economics and that, not Islam, don't you think?"

I'm betting that it's the Moslems, who are inherently irresponsible people because they believe in Islam.

To get rich I'm gonna open a disco in Dearborn called Mainly Moslems. It'll be a rough, tough joint with loud rap music, beer soaked harlots, open gambling, and lotsa knives.

Thailand: Jihadists ambush, murder six Buddhist villagers
.....................

How easily could this have read:

Egypt: Jihadists ambush, murder six Coptic villagers, or

Pakistan: Jihadists ambush, murder six Hindu villagers, or

Nigeria: Jihadists ambush, murder six Christian villagers?

It's the same pattern, all over the world.

There's another point, here, as well. A casual reading of the above would lead one to consider both Buddhists and Muslims to be equally likely victims, without much considering that the perpetrators in all cases are *Muslim*.

Muslims targeting with Jihad violence both Infidels and Muslims it considers "insufficiently Islamic"—in this case, for supporting—or just not actively fighting against—the Thai government.

Given the unsurprisingly chaotic state of the Muslim south—the Muslim-majority area of any country is *always* economically stagnant—I imagine most Thai imports come from the Buddhist north.

Generally, I am *inclined* to buy Thai products—apart from their troubling sex industry, Thailand has generally been a model of a country pulling itself out of third-world poverty via more economic and political freedom.

All this is threatened, though, by the bloody Jihad insurgency in the south.

Probably the most common Thai product found here in the West is Golden Mountain sauce, a Thai version of soy sauce. Golden Mountain was founded by a Mr. Chai Saekow—almost certainly a Buddhist name, since there is a Saekow Buddhist temple in Thailand. And yes, Golden Mountain also has a peanut satay sauce.

Likely anything headquartered in Bangkok or Phuket would be OK.

I honestly believe the ridicule by Robert and those like him finally compelled to MSM to abandon the adjective "restive" when reporting on southern Thailand. Small victory.

Read the article again.

It's there. Along with the equally prim weasel-word 'troubled', which we have seen used in recent reports on the state of affairs in the Muslim-majority jihad-racked regions of southern Russia. However, we may be thankful for the absence of the words 'volatile' and 'turbulent'.

From the article: "Suspected Islamic insurgents shot dead six Buddhist villagers in Thailand's restive south Thursday, police said, the latest attack in the troubled region bordering Malaysia."

'Restive'. 'Troubled'. A double-whammy.

Let's rewrite that the way it would have read if both the Thai police and the Reuters journalist had the guts to call things by their right names:

"Muslim jihad gunmen murdered six unarmed Buddhist villagers in Thailand's jihad-racked south on Thursday, police said; the latest jihadist atrocity in the mostly-Muslim region bordering Malaysia".

There's another prim weaselword a bit further down - "six years of *unrest*". That should be "six years of ever-more-savage Jihadist atrocities".

Something else to note: the murderous attack on the helpless villagers was probably only the 'bait' to lure Thai police and soldiers into ambush: "Ten policemen and soldiers were also wounded when a roadside bomb exploded *as they were traveling to the scene of the shootings* {my emphasis - dda}, police said."

And the final paragraph is grossly misleading. The people murdered have not just been "Buddhists and Muslims associated with the Thai state, such as police, soldiers, government officials and teachers." They have included helpless unarmed Buddhist monks, small shopkeepers, ice-cream sellers, a seven-year-old girl with her daddy on the way to school, and humble plantation workers.

Final thought, re those many victims of the Jihad in southern Thailand.

I read one particularly horrible report, some time ago, which described how the Muslim attackers had beheaded an elderly Buddhist plantation worker, then placed his head on a stake; his arms and legs were cut off his body and the mutilated torso burned while the limbs were ritually arranged near the stake with the head. If *we* found, anywhere in the West, the body of a murder victim that had been thus obsessively and ritualistically dismembered and displayed, we would assume we were dealing with the worst kind of psychopathic serial killer. So what does Occam's razor say, if we find that level of stomach-turning horror repeatedly displayed wherever Jihad is being actively waged by Muslims? (There is a similar depth of depravity exposed in what Muslim tormentors did to Kriss Donald in Scotland, and to Ilan Halimi in France, or to the Holzbergers in Nariman House in Mumbai).

In line with the blissful dhimmi world, the Thai media still regard the ongoing, daily atrocities as a secular, separatist issue driven by economic, infrastructure, employment and opportunity deprivation. Further, it is not unusual for the Thai media under its government controllers via the Thai application of democracy and freedoms of speech, to entirely ignore Jihadist attacks against innocent civilians until virtually compelled to take it on after it has reached the news wires.

Meanwhile, drive-by shootings, beheadings, barbaric mutilations and burning of teachers, monks, farmers and children by "suspected separatists", are a daily occurrence and convenient euphemisms for Muslim terror attacks, since Thai politicians are no less spineless than their Western counterparts in refusing to acknowledge that the evil ideology of Islam is at work here no less than in other parts of the world where Islam is a large and festering minority.

Still, it is common enough for political expedience to ignore unpalatable realities.

Note also that the non-negotiable demand of the peacelovers, is for Thailand to allow its three Muslim-majority southern provinces (Yala, Pattani, and Narathiwat) to be reunited with Malaysia. Meanwhile, Malaysia has announced that it will not under any circumstances accept them. In other words, the only appeasing compromise is for Thailand to cede these provinces and create a new sovereign (peaceloving) Muslim state that will temporarily placate the Muslim Brotherhood and the IOC, and through them Allah.

Until such time as something gives, and we know from experience it will not be Islam or its demands upon the civilised world, best we can expect is for business and bodies as usual. Live with it, as you do in the comfort of complacency in the West!

Oops, make that OIC.

Oops, make that OIC.

Oops, make that OIC.

Oops, make that OIC.

Oops, make that OIC.

By the way, that should of course read OIC, not IOC, though I guess it's only a matter of time before one devours the other.;)

That should be OIC, not IOC, though one could argue it's only a matter of time before one takes on the brief of the other anyway.

=====================================================
Malaysia would take the Pattani region if it were
offered to them on a silver platter. Of course, Malaysia
(meaning UMNO) does not want to antagonize Bangkok with
whom it has generally good relations what with all the
illegal trade taking place across the border with Kelantan State. However, Kelantan and Malay Nationalists have
recently spoken up more about fanciful notions of
an Daerah Kebangsaan Melayu Islam (an Islamic Malay
state) encompassing Malaysia, southern Thailand,
southern Philippines, Brunei and Indonesia. Certainly,
Malays in Thailand are paying attention to this
and I suspect you will see a situation like Aceh
in Sumatera take place in southern Thailand where
there will be full-scale agitation for autonomy.
The only thing that will 'placate' the OIC is for
the destruction of USA and Israel..after which, of
course, the Muslims will slaughter one another...

Mac, will you kindly tell us precisely where and when Zionists stole Arab land?
