The terrorist attacks against the United States on 9/11/2001 must be a big joke to them. Maybe they had a good laugh when a Muslim terrorist tried to set off his plastic explosives-laden panties on a Christmas Day 2009 flight over Detroit.
Two recent incidents, both perpetrated by those who follow the teachings of an ancient desert raider, were unprovoked, disruptive, and have placed monetary costs upon American taxpayers.
First, a lightweight who can't hold his liquor named Ibrahim Khalil Zarou, while on a Carnival cruise ship, thought he'd be cool and yell "We are jihad," and "Come to the top deck and watch the bomb."
As a result, the ship, which was carrying more than 3700 other passengers and crew, was held four miles off the Florida coast for hours while multiple law enforcement agencies ran an explosives sweep.
Then just days ago, a sophomoric "diplomat" from Qatar named Mohammed Al-Madadi, while on a flight to Denver to visit a convicted and jailed Islamic terrorist, ignored the rules, went into the restroom of the airliner, and lit up a smoke.
When questioned about the smell of smoke coming from the restroom, Al-Madadi was restrained and questioned by air marshals after saying that he was trying to "light his shoes."
As a result, fighter jets were scrambled to intercept the plane.
These are just two of several examples of this behavior. Are they practice runs, attempts to remind us of what Muslim terrorists do best, or feigned victimhood incidents with the aim of filing discrimination lawsuits?
We don't know. So going forward, they should be shown the same respect and consideration that they show everyone else, and get what they give.
While decent people desire to live in peace, ignorant creatures who think that they exist for the sole purpose of intimidating or destroying everyone who disagrees with their century-impaired way of doing things walk among us.
Bullies can be put in their place by various methods, but appeasement and surrender aren't part of the recipe.
Today, Americans have been put into the position of "taking our country back" from politicking prima donnas who...
- Will never possess the fortitude, intellect, or forethought possessed by the framers of our United States Constitution.
- Have refused to listen to the American people.
- Have put their egos ahead of the nation's well being.
They've convinced themselves that we're just a small minority of Americans who are on to them. Poll numbers show otherwise.
Like many elected officials who face being voted out of office by the American people because of their insolence, jihadists and their cheerleaders face learning the hard way that the United States is not a can of religious or political Play-Doh, and it is not up for grabs.
Hopefully they will be voted out. I cannot believe how Obama could be elected.
Face it, Islam is far worse than Nazism. Why is everybody afraid to admit it ? What is to be afraid of, the Truth ? You can't hide the truth and hope the lie won't bite you back. Not with this size of magnitude. It's too big not to bite.
I am for a total ban of Islam and of all politicians that know not what it is, or tolerate it not knowing, or even act as infiltrators and try do deceive us into tolerating it.

1. It keeps reminding the Kuffar that Jihad is ongoing, and the Kuffar must stay in a state of fear
2. Theses incidents cause huge damage financially as well as psychologically.
All good Jihad.
There are ways that we can make such Jihad play very expensive for Muslims.
Muslims just can't help making Islam more and more detested with each passing year. Good.
Maybe the rest of the passengers on the cruise ship should have done what the Muslims did on Achille Lauro.

As DC points out: Our so called sense-abilities in a civilized society may work among the majority of Americans who love their country and want to protect its house, but there is a growing element within our great country that wants to conquer it in the name of Islam and its sharia driven totalitarian ideology.

The OIC with its 56 countries has become dominate in the UN to the point that they passed a resolution that suppresses free speech in regards to criticizing the religion of Islam literally and exclusively. And we have a leftwing President who has been going along with these actions by taking jihad off the table.
America doesn't need another Jimmy Carter in the Presidency, but unfortunateley this presidents actions of open appeasement toward Islam are much worse than Carters.

As coincidence would have it, my family and I were enjoying a cruise completely and intentionally oblivious to mainland news (no phone, no internet) on another cruise line's ship during the week of the March 30th Carnival cruise ship, "Sensation" incident.
During one of our days at open sea, our cruise ship was buzzed (if not shaved!) by military jets .
Shaken by an uncharacterstic and very unsettling sonic boom, we rushed to the balcony of our cabin to locate the source of the sound and rattle, only to notice many fellow startled passengers doing the same. Chatting with folks located in nearby cabins, we uniformly dismissed it as a sonic boom from a jet and settled back into our activities. . . only to be shaken, yet again by another very unsettling and very loud sonic boom moments later. This time we did witness two military jets flying VERY close to sea level, heading East/NE of our ship.
As I re-check our itinerary, I find our ship was traveling towards the island of Eleuthera from the Western Caribbean. At the time I simply dismissed the incident as a military exercise (clearly hoping it was American military involved ).
Now, I wonder if the jets were seeking the Carnival ship which may have been nearby since on March 28th, the Sensation set sail for a four day cruise placing that ship at or near Nassau in the Bahamas on the 30th. (map)
The possibility that those military jets may have been scrambled to address a potential jihad attempt on a nearby cruise ship never dawned on me until now.

Good analysis. There is one more aspect to this as well, though—when these incidents turn out to be a particularly inept bomber with explosives in his shorts, or—even more so—when the threat that scrambles fighter jets turns out to be some joker smoking in the bathroom, many are all too willing to consider the *response* to these threats to be a joke.
Concern, fear, or anger over these events are held to be nothing but "over-reactions" that are held to make the *responders* look ridiculous-as well as xenophobic, "Islamophobic", and 'racist'.
Ultimately, one of the major goals is to make any serious response to the threat of Jihad terror seem embarrassing—and so leave us vulnerable to any and all real attacks.

Can't you just imagine Hitler, Heydrich, Skorzeny and the gang wringing their hands with glee; thousands, MILLIONS of their agents infiltrating their enemies' countries to undermine and destabilize those countries from within? To break down their cultures, values, morals? And the governments & legal-systems in those countries catering to their every whim and complaint? AND, to top it off...a Nazi-sympathizer as POTUS! Hitler could've said, "Give it a generation, maybe two...and we'll HAVE THEM--without firing a shot! They'd have been jumping for joy in the old Reichstag!

Many of our leaders learned to hate the USA from the New Left of the Silly 'Sixties and Sick 'Seventies. They go together with the Jihadists like hand in glove. But, I'm sure that the Muslims have more courage and determination, and will eat those erstwhile New Leftists for breakfast.
Now, here's my proposed way of dealing with these terrorists:
(1) Declare the Smoker-joker Qatari diplomat persona non grata ASAP. Since his country enjoys American military welfare, his masters ought to understand the gravity of making a joke out of the most serious attack on American CIVILIANS in history. I understand his job of paying a visit to an imprisoned countryman (consular provisions and all that), but his bomb joke, well, "bombed".
(2) Find the most multicultie and PeeCee jurisdiction in the country, put the Undies Bomber in a 17th century style pillory with his head and hands locked, his pants down, and a sign reading "Christian homophobe" hanging around his neck.
Perhaps charge the SOB'S for the time lost, and inconvenience. The charge for the F16s alone would cause any other diplomat to hesitate.
The Democrat will win big this year in Nov. There will be no rebellion against the government. The Tea Parties are than bunch or caries.

Exactly—the Qatari "diplomat" claimed he was "joking" when he referred to lighting his shoes, the American would-be Jihadists in Pakistan have claimed at one point they were just "joking".
And it's not just the Jihadists themselves—commentators like Kieth Olbermann are always laughing at authorities who try to keep us safe from Jihad.
If 9/11 had been a failed plot, can you imagine the sarcasm it would have engendered? You would have had plenty of people laughing at the idea that we should take 19 guys with boxcutters and a few weeks of pilot school as a serious threat.
