Jihad: the threat just keeps growing

All this points to what so many here at JW already know and that is that Islam is a mortal (or is it stupid?) threat to Western Civilization (and other civilizations as well). And again, damn that bastard Mohammed. What a creep.

Easy. These people, just like the good Muslims that have committed 15,000+ deadly terror acts since 911, are all isolated extremists.

Still, as the liberal chorus goes, not all Muslims are terrorists and not all terrorists are Muslim.

Nice little list! I'm surprised that there is no body count or injuries among these incidents. I also notice that the punishments meted out seem much more severe than those given out in Islamic states for similar offenses.

I feel assured that our security forces have been successful in breaking up these conspiracies before they become "man-made disasters." I sincerely hope that Mr Holder can maintain this sterling record as a carryover from GWB's administration.

In the meantime, it would only be prudent that every mosque and every organisation to have hosted any individual on this list or others like it, should be subjected to the most minute investigation of their every activity. Any mosque or organisation showing more than a coincidental connexion to seditious suspects should immediately be padlocked, its assets confiscated, and its administrators charged and/or deported.

As for Mr Obama, perhaps it's time for him to declare that the US will no longer tolerate that which can only be characterised as "acts of war," and start declaring certain diplomatic personnel as persona non grata.

IMO anyone, including US citizens, duly convicted of a being a terrorist (which includes aiding and abetting Islamic terrorism) involved in plotting or aiding the plotting of death & destruction against US citizens should be forthwith declared an enemy combatant, sent to Gitmo (with no Quran - really stupid to supply Qurans there) and interrogated (waterboarding if necessary) if they are believed to have useful information, and hanged there. I think we should do all we can legally to deter this home grown terrorism. Why do we have to be such wusses when we are dealing with killers of innocent civilians?

Reading about the plots in this article, plus a number of successful attacks along with other outrages seen in 20 years' retrospection reminds me how I finally learned about radical Islam's war on the rest of humanity, and how I found Jihad Watch. My anxiety and alarm about these matters intensified with the 2008 Presidential election, as I knew the implications of Obama's tenure in our nation's highest office [the Obamanation that makes desolate]; I feared for the peace of America and of the world.

What's more, I'm reminded how that anxiety and alarm made an impression on my six-year old daughter (J. M. of sweetest memory). That impression was reinforced when she joined her parents to publicly show support for Israel against HAMAS--she was acutely aware of the differences between our pro-Israel group in numbers--the pro-HAMAS crowd was far greater, continuously swelling--in demeanor, in dress, and in symbolism--the Stars and Stripes prominently displayed by our group, virtually absent among the overwhelmingly Muslim HAMAS supporters.

Our daughter, in her short seven years, became aware of the Holocaust and of historical persecution of the Jews. She saw what jihad against Jews, Hindus, Christians, and others meant, seeing the terror inflicted on Sderot's children, seeing the horrors of 9/11 revisited and its victims memorialized, and seeing death and terror in London, Madrid, Bali, and Mumbai.

Being, as she was, an outspoken and direct child, her schoolteacher felt it necessary to insist to her that "Muslims are good." Her daddy, however, never made such a blanket contrary judgment of Muslims, having told her that, generally, most Muslims are peaceful, and many are good; but that, unfortunately, some are not, and not just a few at that. When my daughter reported to me what her teacher had said, I reiterated what I said before; then, I said that J. M. and I should only talk about these things between ourselves.

My little girl loved everyone, and was a trusting child, even after discovering the existence of human malice and realizing the inevitability and finality of death. That occurred quite some time before Jewell, her guardian angel, came to strengthen her and to lead her in her homeward ascent.

All the media is reporting how it was outside the theater at which "The Lion King" is playing in New York. What they do not tell you is more interesting.

Read about half way down the article. What is revealed should not surprise you. But in case you've been hibernating the bad boys who created "South Park", the foul mouthed cartoon kids who take on ANY and ALL sacred objects (even the Clintons) took on Mohammed.

"Comedy Central" produces "South Park". Viacom owns "Comedy Central." And the bomb just also happened to be outside the Viacom offices. I rather suspect that is the pertinent connection in this bombing.

Well folks, If you happenned to be in Times Square at around 6 P.M. yesterday, you would have been evacuated by the N.Y.P.D. due to a car bomb attempt in which an SUV was spotted discharging smoke from within. The police bomb squad was called in as people were being told to flee the area as quickly as possible. The street was cleared in short order and without a sign of panic from any section of the crowd. New York's mayor, Mike Bloomberg said that the SUV contained propane tanks, fireworks, cans of gasoline, a large gun locker, and some sort of timing device, which were removed from the vehicle without incident. Mayor Bloomberg called the event a "clear case of attempted terrorism." The police spokesperson described the attempt as "amaturish" but certainly dangerous and possibly deadly had it exploded. The N.Y.P.D. as well as the F.B.I. and investagators from the Department of Homeland Security are all said to be cooperating in the investigation as they review any traffic or security camera's recordings as well as asking the public to please contact them if anyone who was in the area at the time, who saw or happenned to record anything in the Times Square area between that morning and 8 P.M. last evening.
As "jdow" wrote, the Nissan Pathfinder was parked in front of the building that houses the offices of Viacom Entertainment, the producers of Comedy Central's program, "South Park," who was said to be threatened by various Islamic radical groups, angered by the show's depection of Muhammad as a brown bear in a T-Shirt.
