Brennan seems to be one of impostors whose role is to blind people from reality. I wonder how much money he took for that role, or to rephrase, how cheap he was ready to sell USA.

And why would we expect more from Brennan who is nothing more than a common street thug who should be booted out of his arrogant and pretentious position?

This Brennan is an ignorant Muslim appeasing fool, which is what Obama wants on his team.

"Tolerance" of the Middle Eastern nations??? Has this become official policy now in spite of all evidence to the contrary? All this makes me regret more and more that Danes have been and still are being killed in the US-lead war against terrorism. It has all been in vain if the US administration caves in.

This is a terrible administration, bar none. I will not argue with those who maintain this president is at heart a Muslim. He obviously has deep sympathies for the world of Islam, along with an abiding contempt for Israel. President Obama and his administration are much worse - on a whole lot of levels - than former president Bush and his administration. That having been said, conservatives, conservative leaders, Republicans and Republican party leaders missed our chance to establish the language in this war. For seven long years post 9/11, President Bush and his administration - Secretary of State Rice and other administration officials - repeatedly lied about the enemy. They lied about the enemy's motives. They lied about the inspiration behind these attacks: Islam, the deeds and the words of the prophet contained in the Qur'an, in the oral tradition of Islam, etc. They lied repeatedly about the enemy, about Israel, etc.

Conservatives - those who had a voice in the process and a voice in establishing the language - by and large were shamefully silent; complicit even, in these lies. Conservatives went along with Bush, Rice and other administration officials in their lies about Islam; about the language, about Israel illegally "occupying" Muslim land, etc., because Bush was leading the effort in the war against the "terrorists" who "hijacked" a "religion whose teachings are good and peaceful" and against those who by committing "evil in the name of Allah, blaspheme the name of Allah." This is how Mr. Bush described the enemy.

Bush could have been persuaded - and he could have been shamed if necessary, as he was shamed to reject his friend Harriet Miers - to establish honest language in describing the enemy.

Now conservatives have no say. We have no voice in this administration or the political process. We missed our chance. True, Obama and his people would have rejected language established by the Bush administration, just as he rejected the use of the term "terrorists" and the "war on terrorism." He would have rejected it but he could not deny that the Bush administration established honest and accurate language which defined the enemy. Nor could the public deny it.

John Brennan gives aid and comfort to the enemy.......... He is a disgrace.

If jihad is "legitimate tenet of Islam" we are toast. Imagine, after creating the most advanced civilization in all of history we now welcome it's death knell and treat it with respect.

History is peopled with public officials like John Brennan, who, however well intentioned, are deeply ignorant, foolish men who often do much harm. It's the way of things.

How a man can have so much accessibility to being able to understand the term jihad and yet he reflects absolutely no understanding of how the term plays out in the Quran is amazing to me.

I would sure love to see Robert debate jihad with Brennan; of course that will never happen even if Spencer formally challenged Brennan's misguided knowledge of Jihad in Islam.

By saying that jihad is a legitimate tenet of Islam, Brennan is approving and legitimizing all the invasions Muslims carried out around the world. He sounds like a Muslim or courtier from a Muslim kingdom which may not be far from the truth about present administration.

Brennan needs a lesson in history, especially Muslim history of their invasions and how they were carried out. It was always the the call of "holy war" to advance Islam and of course the lure of the booty captured from the invaded lands - wealth, woman, slaves, etc. Then there was the call of 72 whores in jannat if they got killed in the holy war which was very very attractive as these people had problem getting real live woman in this life. So jihad was a win - win proposition. They couldn't lose either way, if they lived they had the slave women and the wealth of invaded people and if they died in jihad they had not one,two or three or four women but 72 perpetual virgin whores. No wonders these brain dead numb skulls went out shouting "allhu akbar" killing, pillaging, raping, invading, looting and committing every other crime known in the history of mankind.

So much for jihad as holy struggle - yeah holy struggle alright to kill, murder, rape, loot ....etc, etc .

What is amusing about Brennan is that he spent many years, apparently, in the Middle East, and so is taken by some in the Administration as "knowledgeable" as all get out. But as all know from grim experience, all kinds of "old Middle Eastern hands" have failed to grasp -- or persuaded to ignore, through all the favors that rich Arabs can do for them, or because they have swallowed whole the Arab Muslim narrative (about the war against Israel, most obviously, but also, as a corollary, about a supposed confluence of interests, a natural alliance even, between Muslims and the West that is marred only, so those Arab leaders truly, deeply, sincerely assure visiting Americans (many just as gullible as the ineffable, in every sense including the obscene, Madeline Albright)that they would could should be our allies if only...if only we stopped supporting those pesky Israelis who simply must be made to listen to sweet reason, as dictated to the Western world by the Arabs.

It is a pity that you did not quote the rest of Ibn Khaldun comments on holy war, they even explain the Crusades. Here it is:

"The other religious groups did not have a universal mission, and the holy war was not a religious duty to them, SAVE ONLY FOR PURPOSES OF DEFENSE".

Let's clairify the dichotomy.

In the US, we have freedom of religion; the US is not against any religion, on principle. Yet the jihadis are brainwashed into believing the US is at war with Islam. Because they see religions, not countries, as the basis for human civilizations. Hence, when we invade an Islamic country, we are "at war with Islam." The obvious contradiction they ignore: why are we not persecuting Islamic people right here in the US? We go to war with countries; they go to war with religions.

For the administration: they are unable to admit that a religion might condone or even require violent actions that are against the law in the US. Such a religion would be illegal and banned, appearing to violate freedom of religion.

Hence, the onus is on us to parse illegal-Islam from legal-Islam. Illegal Islam believes in "violent jihad" and using "hate speech." Those forms must not be protected by freedom of religion.

Every time this guy pontificates on islam the hair on the back of my neck stands up. If an imbecile like this running our intelligence gathering capabilities doesn't embolden our enemy, I don't know what would!!

John Brennan is a traitor, in my opinion, and he is aided and abetted by our current president - or vice versa. In either case, Obama, likewise, is a traitor, whose impeachment is long overdue.

The issue as to whether those murdered in jihad are considered innocent by their killers has been discussed amply elsewhere; I will not comment further. But I will make one comment regarding "purification of one's community," adding to Robert's comment, above. Pakistan means "Land of the Pure," or, in plain English, "Land of Muslims" so as to distinguish the clean and halal part of the Indian subcontinent from the filthy land of the unbelieving, polytheistic, idol-worshipping, blasphemous Hindus. And most of us here know what has befallen the Hindus, Christians, and other infidels unlucky enough to be trapped inside of Pakistan (and, later, Bangladesh), hapless victims of the partition of India. It is incumbent upon Muslims, as per their prophet, speaking as Allah's messenger, to strive mightily, through jihad, to purify their community, their country - yea, even the entire world. Those who stand in the way - who resist such striving for purification - are considered the aggressors, and, after all, Allah loves not the aggressors (Koran 2:191). And it is better to show no mercy to those whom Allah hates, lest one incur Allah's wrath for not hating and dealing harshly with those who are hated by Allah, the Beneficent, the All-Merciful.

Shifting Strategy Misses Target

Yesterday counterterrorism advisor John Brennan unveiled Obama’s new security strategy. The new plan will focus more on homegrown radicals and domestic terrorism. Well, there’s no doubt that we’ve got a problem with radical Muslims in America. But, according to the Washington Times, “Mr. Brennan specifically said the Obama administration would no longer use the terms ‘Islamist’ and ‘jihadist’ ‘because jihad is holy struggle, a legitimate tenet of Islam, meaning to purify oneself or one’s community.’”

Where is Brennan getting his information? As far as I know, Brennan has not converted to Islam, but he is holding himself up as an expert in that faith and allowing this rubbish to dictate our counterterrorism strategy. Can “jihad” at times mean a personal struggle? Sure. But throughout history, including today, it also has had another meaning that is extremely relevant to our national security.

Everyone knows that whenever a Muslim terrorist attacks us, he claims he to be committing an act of jihad. The jihadists often yell “Allhu akbar” – “Allah is great” – as they commit their evil deeds, just to make sure we don’t confuse them with disgruntled Baptists or Episcopalians. Perhaps Brennan isn’t aware of that fact.

Maybe Brennan should go ask the “humanitarians” at Palestinian Islamic Jihad exactly what they mean by the term “jihad.” Palestinian Islamic Jihad is dedicated to the destruction of Israel and no doubt believes that it is “purifying the community” when it blows up Jews and Christians. Perhaps he should talk to the countless Muslim religious leaders who are telling young Muslims today to kill the infidel – to wage jihad.

There are lots of things that the Obama Administration is doing wrong with respect to our values and the economy. But there is nothing more dangerous than the politically correct malfeasance that the White House is attempting to pass off as a national security strategy.

By the way, here’s one more example of the administration’s lack of seriousness. Yesterday, the State Department reassured the Mexican government that National Guard troops about to be deployed to the border will not be engaged in any efforts to enforce our immigration laws. That comes as Fox News reports that the Department of Homeland Security is warning Texas authorities that a suspected member of the Somalia-based Al Shabaab terrorist organization is believed to be traveling in Mexico and may attempt to cross into the U.S.

But wait – there’s more… While we’re arresting thousands of “other than Mexicans” coming across the border, and while the Department of Homeland Security is issuing terrorist watch warnings along the border, what are Senate Democrats doing about it? They blocked a Republican plan to send thousands more National Guard troops to help keep the terrorists out! Remember that, friends, when you go to the polls on November 2nd.

Mohammedans when committing their atrocities and acts of terrorism are frequently heard to cry ‘Allahu Akbar”. Now what the dhimmie STUPID left wing PC MC Islamophile moonbats THINK this means is “God is Great” and of course Mohammedans are very happy to let the moonbats continue in their STUPID IGNORANCE.

‘Allah Akbar’ means God is Great but ‘ALLAHU Akbar” is a a horse of a completely different colour it means ‘MY God is the GREATEST’ a significant difference dont you think. A claim such as this reveals a lot about Islam

1) Its POLYTHEIST nature (as THEIR God being the GREATEST admits the existence of OTHER in their opinion albeit LESSER Gods)

2) It also reveals the SUPREMACIST nature of Islam as they think THEIR God is the GREATEST God.

3) It also reveals the competitive will to dominate in Islam too.

Just an interesting self-observation...
I was on the phone with my mother and sister from Illinois who were going on vacation to Michigan. I asked them if they were going anywhere near Dearborn, of course they asked why. I explained to them about the threat to Christians from radical muslims up there and was relieved to find out they would not be anywhere near Dearborn. After hanging up with them I realized that the muslims had won, or at least were winning. They had succeeded in putting fear into the heart of at least one American...me. I was sickened to realize that this army vet, harley rider and proud gun owner was scared for the safety of my family because of an ethnic class of foreigners living in MY country! The point is, I guess, that, regardless of what the dhimmis like this Brennan have to say about radical islam, it's up to the American Patriots who know the truth to somehow put a stop to their spread of fear in OUR society. We must stand as one to stop this madness, obviously our so-called leaders in D.C., especially in this apostate to Christianity administration, aren't going to do a thing about it.

Global jihadists have declared Islamic holy war against all infidels who refuse to convert or pay the infidel tax and be dhimmis. The pre-Mahdi skirmishes are political power struggles over territory. However, once a territory or land is conquered for Islam, Shariah law enacted, and "purified" of infidels with any stature, it's kingdom will be ready to unite under a political Mahdi (Obama?). Is refraining(on our part) from calling this a religious war really the focus of our President and leaders? Should we call them global Muslim-supremacists or global Shariah law enforcers instead?
