Conspiracy paranoia and displacement of responsibility often travel together, as in this case. "Anti-Islam forces behind Pak unrest," from The News (Pakistan), May 10:
ABBOTTABAD: Leaders of various religio-political parties on Sunday said terrorism was promoted in Pakistan under a well-hatched conspiracy. Addressing a Khatm-e-Nabuwwat conference, leaders of various religious political parties including Sirajul Haq, Ikramullah Shahid, Mufti Kifayatullah, Hamidul Haq, Maulana Allah Wasaya and others termed the presence of US military personnel in the country a threat to the security of the country.
They're already occupying Costellobad.
They said the anti-Islam forces supported by the US were out to destabilise Pakistan and destroy its Islamic identity. They said the salvation of Pakistan depended in the supremacy of Islam and the non-believers were trying to tarnish the image of the religion. The speakers urged the government to foil the designs of anti-Islam elements and frustrate their conspiracies against Pakistan.
They added that the problems of the nation would be solved when the Muslims follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was the final prophet and a beacon of light for the humanity.
Never mind that Sharia law never quite seems to bring about the just society that was advertised -- least of all in Islamic countries.
Projection, projection, projection.
hold on 1 second.....our "commander in lies" will be right there to help you guys with your problem! lol
Abbottabad and Costellobad, LOL!! Top drawer, good Sir.
“They said the salvation of Pakistan depended in the supremacy of Islam and the non-believers were trying to tarnish the image of the religion.”
Slap on the face. It is all part of Taquiya. The “religio-political” leaders are indeed terrorist backers and they do have the tacit approval of Pakistan’s mainstream leaders to vomit this shit to divert US pressure against them. The audacity and the irresistible urge to lie is evident in the refusal of these maniacs to make even a cursory appeal to terrorists to desist from bringing bad name to Islam. Majority of followers of Islam derive great pleasure in lying to others and these fanatics are almost experiencing orgasmic pleasures when they are collectively lying about out a non-existent conspiratorial enemy. By giving generous aid to this almost pauper nation, the US is committing the unpardonable sin of preventing these satanic followers from achieving salvation based on supremacy of Islam. Outlandish, grotesque and shameless Taquiya gems from them will be in direct proportion to US aid.
Im surprised that such conspiracy is discussed here for the first time. Entire PAK media is blaming, Jews, US, Bristish, Indians, Russians for spreading terror in PAK. They go on saying that all the terror attacks are carried out with the help of CIA and the attackers are not muslims. Every PAKISTANI is taught on media that non-believers are responsible for the problems in PAK. This is their propaganda after getting billions of dollars from US. And surprisingly US wants to give more money to PAK.
Why don't we get our troops out of there and let them all kill each other?
The sooner we leave these countries the better.
Islam is an unstable political force. The sunnis will end up fighting the shiites and they'll all send themselves to paradise by their own hands.
We should bring the troops home to defend the homeland against attcks withi the U.S. That is where the danger lies right now.
The U.S. is being sucked dry by these thieves.
And in the end we will have accomplished nothing.

Do you people know how hard it is to get these respected learned people especially Sirajul Haq & Ikramullah Shahid to take time away from prayer and focus on the country.
These people do get involved in politics, but bias it from Islam's perspective - they are prayer people, the best in class. If they say that US military personnel are a threat to security - then they are.
Sirajul Haq is a very modest and mild man. He forms part of the Provisonal Assembly (Khyber Pakhtunkhwa), who would have come to this important decision.

Also please note the number of seats "reserved" for women. We treat our women with most respect and they have their say.
The assembly does agree with Sirajul - please make haste to remove your people out of our beloved country.
Form an orderly queue but leave a tip for services rendered.
"They added that the problems of the nation would be solved when the Muslims follow the teachings of Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) who was the final prophet and a beacon of light for the humanity.:"
A quick check on Muslim dominated countries shows this has never worked...
An article by Nicolai Sennels, who observed the high incidence of conspiracy-theories, deeply believed in, and other forms of paranoia, among the Muslims in Denmark, can be found here:

I once had a client, a liberal Jew, with whom I had many political conversations. Inevitably, multiculturalism became the center-piece of our philosophical differences, and her entire argument was based on the following...
"If people of different beliefs sit down together to hash out their differences, we can invariably reach a consensus."
Her verbal post-script was telling, not so much for its wisdom, but for its determinism regarding her choice of conclusions. She summed up...
"Otherwise, we're all screwed."
Such a mindset effectively mirrors the entire liberal world-view, that a bona-fide clash of civilizations would usher in the apocalypse, and that therefore, we CAN and MUST reach a modus vivendi with the "other" and that thus, "Islam is peace" after all, not because it is...but because "otherwise, we're all screwed."
What this woman was really saying, though she would never have recognized or admitted it, was that she has no stomach for a fight. She deflected her cowardice by buying into a tall tale, the great lie of multiculturalism. For her (and so many like her), a pretty lie is preferable to the ugly truth.

Yes, I agree completely. The Americans should leave Pakistan, leave it entirely. No more tens of billions or billions or even millions in aid to Pakistan, not a cent or rifle more. No more landing rights or indeed air communication with Pakistan at all. No most-favored-nation status for its textiles, and not only because they are so often produced by child labor. of Pakistani goods, no exporting of American or other Western goods. No Pakistanis allowed into our countries for educateion and medical care, especially the children of zamindars and generals. No immigation at all from Pakistan, save in the case of Christians who prove that they are being persecuted.
But upon leaving, the Americans should leave many copies of a list, in order to show no hard feelings, a list of Saudi government offices to which Pakistanis may apply to well-heeled Saudi members of the Umma, who have a trillion dollars stashed away, and a further list of similar offices in the United Arab Emirates, Kuwait, Qatar, and so on, where the government of Pakistan might apply for aid.
And vigilant American monitoring of the only thing that should matter in Pakistan -- its nuclear weapons -- must continue, but without any help demanded, or expected, from permanently meretricious and hostile, because Muslim, Pakistan.
Never mind that, Sharia law never quite seems to bring about the just society that was advertised -- least of all in Islamic countries.
Sure it does. It's just not the sort of justice anybody but a muslim male would like but that is exactly what muslims mean when they speak of justice.
Translation of this conference:
Kuffirs, how dare you even ask where all the money you give us goes to. How dare you tell us what to do with the best modern military equipment we get from you? We will do as we please. We will support all the jihads that are fighting for Islam. We love Islam more than your freedoms and democracy. Just get out of our areas, but keep sending the money and weapons with no questions asked.
That just about sums it up for waht all these oily snakes of islam want from us.
Pakistanis love to blame everyone except themselves for their problems . Most of their problems are because of the increasing influence of Islam in their country but they refuse to learn anything .
And as far as conspiracy theories go Indians posting here must be familiar with a guy named Zaid Hamid . This idiot has made a career out of spreading moronic conspiracy theories involving the US, India and Israel. He believes that 9/11 was an inside job and that 26/11(Mumbai) was orchestrated by Indians themselves. Every country has its share of loons but this guy gets to spout this bullshit on national Tv . It is no wonder that Pakistanis believe that "foreign powers " are out to destabilize their country ..so very sad.
Islam is against everything the modern world stands for and at its very core I fear it is against any kind of happiness whatsoever.
Pakistan needs to leave this vile ideology behind if it really wants peace and progress .
Click on the link if you wish to see Hamid talking out of his ass ...what a f****** moron

From post above...Pakistan needs to leave this vile ideology behind if it really wants peace and progress .
Since Pakistan was founded on this vile ideology, I don't see how they can abandon it...
You are almost absolutely right about that but a guy can dream can't he ? Because here's the thing .. its as if this entire region is at a crossroads - the best way is that Pakistan stops the on going jihadist/mulla takeover of its society and learns what 'the separation of church and state' means but if its march towards an Islamic theocracy {like Saudi Arabia} goes on unchecked then all this might end very badly .Not just for Pakistan but for India as well.Pakistan is not Saudi Arabia .. not yet .. let's hope it stays that way .
And thanks for replying to my post .. first time anyone here has done that .
Islam never does anything bad or wrong or shame-inducing. It's always Islam's victims' fault.
That pattern, of never (except for a truly tiny minority) engaging in substantive self-criticism, is part of the totalitarianism we find in Islam's core texts, in Muhammad's behavior, and in human rights conditions in Muslim-majority nations today.
When the capacity for self-criticism is so hobbled and outlawed, the capacity for self-discovery is crippled. Islamic culture thus often hinders the discovery and thus the very existence of individuality, of the self. That is so much the case that Westerners have great difficulty understanding Islamic culture, which often seems bizarrely and unbelievably inhumane.
Even moderate Muslims must be called to account about whether they reject the supremacism and violence of Muhammad and core Islamic texts.
In Sahih Bukhari, the most canonical of hadith collections, Muhammad said, "Whoever changed his Islamic religion, then kill him." Even moderate Muslims should perhaps be asked to sign a statement denouncing the death penalty for apostasy from Islam and calling for worldwide Muslim rejection of that deeply rooted aspect of Islam.
"who was the final prophet and a BACON of light for the humanity"...I love that !
Lucan, perhaps Zaid Hamid sees what he's doing as a "two-fer." He gets to absolve his religion of the crime, and by that very fact gets to hit the victim again! It's a bit as if a murderer, having just murdered many members of a family he wants to exterminate, were to make an elaborate argument to the police that the family had been killed by its own still-living father, and in response, the police arrest the father, who perhaps gets hanged! Meanwhile the real murderer goes off gleeful that he not only avoided blame, but in doing so he managed to kill another member of that family that he wants to exterminate!

..........................
What can possibly threaten a Muslim land? Only Kufr. What can possibly solve the problems of a Muslim land? Only Islam, Islam, and more Islam.
With enough Islam, Pakistan may come to even more closely resemble more devout Islamic paradises Afghanistan, Somalia, and Yemen.
With enough Islam, Pakistan may go from what it is today—merely a violent, Jihad-ridden, corrupt mess—to absolute *Hell on earth*.

... whether they prefer acid thrown on their faces, gang raped, bartered to settle feuds, that sort of thing ...
"...the non-believers were trying to tarnish the image of the religion.”
Oh, man. Hands down, this is my favorite joke all day. I'm gonna use that one, it's sure to KILL, if you'll pardon the expresssion.
"Political leaders [in Pakistan] blame terrorism on "well-hatched," U.S.-backed conspiracy"
Conspiracy paranoia. As everyone knows, we don't have leaders capable of conceiving and executing anything even remotely describable as "well-hatched." "Bumbling" is a more appropriate term to use.
@ traeh .. thanks for replying . I honestly have no idea what Hamid thinks he will achieve with this kind of rhetoric. But if he is going for a 'two fer' it is Pakistan he seeks to absolve not Islam .Islam ,for him, is beyond criticism .Islam can never ever go wrong ,you see, so the question of absolution does not arise. Moreover I get a feeling he knows he is lying but his blind hatred for India and Hindus drives him to create these fantastic theories .
What is alarming is that now we have Pakistani leaders talking just the way this idiot does .Things will not change unless the Pakistani people realize what the problem really is - 'purified'Islam and mullahs who keep turning out thousands of brain washed jihadis to fight for Islam .
“They said the salvation of Pakistan depended in the supremacy of Islam and the non-believers were trying to tarnish the image of the religion.”
Islam can save nothing. We can not tarnish a rusted, failed faith, only give light to the truth.
When islam is exposed to the light, it shows itself to be a "faith" that steals, kills, destroys. This "faith" of islam is the enemy of all humans, even more so those who follow it.
A long time ago, here at jihadwatch, a poster named tokyobk in February 2007 drew our attention to a medieval Jewish philosopher, Ibn Kammuna, resident in Mesopotamia, deep within dar al Islam, who around 1280 wrote a treatise comparing Christianity, Islam and Judaism, which he entitled "Examination of the Three Faiths".
This, reportedly, is what Ibn Kammuna said about Islam, and specifically, about sharia:
'Ibn Kammuna wrote that Muslim rulers habitually violate the provisions of the Islamic law (sharia) because:
QUOTE "[i]f the provisions of Islam were acted upon without any alteration, the regime would be upset, and people's blood would be spilled unjustly.
'This is no secret to anyone acquainted with Muslim jurisprudence and with the evil and corruption the people sink into." UNQUOTE
'He reasoned that this incompatibility of sharia with the principles of justice undercuts Muhammad's claims of being a perfect man:
QUOTE "there is no proof that Muhammad attained perfection and the ability to perfect others as claimed". UNQUOTE
'The philosopher thus concluded that people usually convert to Islam from ulterior motives:
QUOTE “That is why, to this day we never see anyone converting to Islam unless in terror, or in quest of power, or to avoid heavy taxation, or to escape humiliation, or if taken prisoner, or because of infatuation with a Muslim woman, or for some similar reason.
'Nor do we see a respected, wealthy, and pious non-Muslim well versed in both his faith and that of Islam, going over to the Islamic faith without some of the aforementioned or similar motives”. UNQUOTE
An electronic copy of a modern translation and edition of Ibn Kammuna can be bought *here*:

His observations about sharia - that when it is strictly applied it produces public disorder and the unjust shedding of blood - ring only too terribly true.
