Racist Kenya rules Islamic courts illegal -- no, wait...

Certainly any Western state that ruled Islamic courts illegal would be tarred as "racist," as is any individual who opposes Islamic supremacism and Sharia. So is Kenya racist now?

"Kenya court rules Islamic courts are illegal," from the BBC, May 24 (thanks to Davida):

Kenya's Islamic courts are illegal and discriminatory, a panel of judges has ruled.

The three judges said the Islamic "Kadhi" courts favoured Islam over other faiths, and that this was unconstitutional as Kenya was a secular country.

The issue of Islamic courts has been a contentious point in the country's new proposed constitution.

It is due to go to a referendum in August.

The Kadhi courts - set up under British colonial rule - mainly deal with matters of marriage and inheritance for Kenya's Muslim minority.

The Christian church in Kenya brought the case to court six years ago....

"Kenya court rules Islamic courts are illegal...

Uh oh...The co-ruler Odinga, Rasool Obama's cousin, is not going to like this...I think we will see Rasool Obama get personally involved on the side of Odinga and Sharia...After all, Rasool is a national hero to Kenyan's, and a native born son, they even have a monument and tourist attraction at his Kenyan birthplace...
And why should they not adore him, he is the first Kenyan to become President of the US of A...I'm sure Odinga would appreciate his help to get sharia courts re-established...

We haven't heard the last of this, not by a long shot.

For Muslims, this is tantamount to a declaration of war. My guess is, we'll witness a period of intense Muslim "ferment"...after which the country's political class will prevail upon the courts to reverse their decision, not based on constitutional prerogatives of course, but on the need for "reconciliation" and "inter-communal harmony".

No folks, Kenya is just not destined to be the front line in the global struggle against Sharia, at least not according to my prognostications. It's non-Muslim majority lacks the cohesion - due mostly to tribal rivalries, or the strength and wealth to play such a role.

Of course I'd be more than pleased to end up being wrong. Time will tell.

"Kenya's Islamic courts are illegal and discriminatory, a panel of judges has ruled."

Nice to hear some good news. While Kenya is majority Christian, there is at least one province there with a Muslim majority which might try to challenge this ruling. We'll have to see what happens in the referendum in August.

Thank you, Robert. I intend to use this in my communications with state and federal lawmakers - that people (kufr) having experience with "divine" sharia law REJECT it. I will collect from JW and PoliticalIslam.com a dozen examples of violence and twisted islamic "logic" in Kenya and share that, too.

All "Islamic courts are illegal and discriminatory..." Shout this from every street corner, pulpit, pew and bench... and ballot box.

Resist subjugation!

(The last line of the article at BBC says they are "power-sharing" and intend to write a new constitution. Can you guess what will be proposed from the r.o.p. side? Sharia, which would no doubt be declared legal, obligatory and required to elevate islam and subjugate all others.)

Two things worth noting.

One, is that these Islamic courts in Kenya are a legacy of...British colonial rule! Seems that even way back then, the British gave altogether too much deference to the Muslims (they did the same in Nigeria, giving preference to the Muslims of the North, which was and is disastrous for the non-Muslims of the south). So for Kenya to get rid of the Islamic courts, in favour of a single *secular* system with equality before the law for all Kenyans, could be represented as a correction of one of the *major* errors made by the British. In an even greater irony, Kenyans would be best off taking a long look at the very system of English common law that their erstwhile colonial rulers - by favouring Muslims and Muslim separatism - *denied them* (the Common Law that is now under threat in its country of origin, thanks to English acceptance of ...Islamic sharia courts on British soil!) and going for that.

Second, let us not forget that it was in an English-language school in Kenya, in the library of that school, well stocked with English children's literature, that Ayaan Hirsi Ali - avidly soaking up the revolutionary contents of those innocent books such as 'Famous Five', 'Secret Seven', and 'Nancy Drew' - laid the foundations for her defection from Islam.

Bravo to the Kenyan judges. Perhaps judges in other secular systems will take note and follow suit.

Please send memo to the EU court of Human rights.

Denis MacShane, ex-Labour minister, wrote this re Afghanistan.

Denis MacShane wrote: We have to look again at the ideology that spurs on the Taliban and other extremists. That ideology is not of the Islam religion, which should have the same respect as any other Abrahamic faith, but is a coherent world ideology of Islamism that is rooted in the Muslim Brotherhood that was founded by Hassan al-Banna in the 1920s and that has developed steadily since.

That was enough for me to stop giving any further credence to Denis MacShane. He should really begin understanding the goal of all Islam, and not just Islamists. That objective has stood for 1400 years, and has caused the destruction of civilisations, and the annihilation of whole cultures and people, by the sword, starvation and the instruments of Dhimmification.

Denis MacShane should read Robert Spencer, William Muir, Fitzgerald, Ibn Warraq, Ali Sena, Wafa Sultan, Hirsi Ali, Churchill, Marco Polo, and host of others. OTH, as some commentators have pointed out, McShane has a lot of Muslims in his constituency, and has perforce, become a dhimmi.

Islam: theo-political jihad war machine

Islamification: the codification of islamic supremacy through sharia law

Islamist: one who actively works toward islamification via armed or covert action

Apologist: one who allows islamification via non-action or obfuscatory action

Just toying with some concepts here...

I like it, we need good one liners to compensate for the short attention span crowd, which more than likely is the defect most of those whom have not gotten the message yet are suffering from.

Meanwhile, with the blessings of Rowan Williams and Lord Phillips, sharia courts are popping everywhere in the UK.

Who would ever have thought that Kenya, by choosing secularism and equality for all before the law over sharia's fascist, supremacist and misogynistic inbred bedouin savagery, could make Britain look like a Banana Republic?

How can our Dear Leader, Obamahdi, permit this to exist! He will straighten out his wayward relatives in the land of Dar-es-Harb! He will jump on Baraq and rush right over to Kenya and put a stop to this Western colonialism! The heirs of Edward Said are frothing at the mouth! RageBoy could be in an appearance! This decision is an insult to Islam!
