There are four givens in life. They are death, taxes, Muslims killing or maiming non-Muslims and Muslims killing or maiming fellow Muslims. Well, there might be a fifth----the Detroit Lions will never win a Super Bowl.

It certainly must be great to be a Muslim in a Muslim land...

And the Taliban will gain more and more power since their fellow citizens know that the Coalition will be gone soon, as openly promised. Only the truly stupid or the suicidal would appear to be for the coalition government now. And even if the coalition stuck around they would only be holding off the inevitable with infidel blood and money as long as they expended enough. Because, as we all know, the only way George's plan was going to work was to completely eliminate Islam first. Just ask Turkey's secularists what happens when you don't.

No one should forget that it was only the American invasion in the fall of 2001 that stopped the Taliban from continuing, and completing, its murdering of the Hazara, a Mongol people who live near Herat, and as Shi'a, are fair game for the Uber-Sunni Taliban.

So true, Hugh. Invading Afghanistan was the only move I agreed with. Too bad the Yanks just didn't go in, kill every Taliban Leader, their supporters, use "all" their resources to go after bin laden, then just get the Hell out without the Nation building crap.

And some politicians talk about solving the problems there and bringing in a functioning government - not a hope !
And what about ' talking to the taliban ' ?
Can you imagine yourself at the negotiations and what you would actually say ?
The main thing is ......keep them over there - not one should be allowed into our countries , from afghanistan or any other muslim country .

Hazaras and Shiite Muslims?

I no longer care.

There was a time when any victims of islam brought sorrow - the children still do. But now, I just don't care when the victims are adult muslims.

They choose the violent cult of islam. They turn a blind eye to the persecution of non-muslims. They preach islamic superiority. They rant & rave if an infidel draws a cartoon of muhammad, yet make not a peep when a muslim terrorist walks into a market and detonates a bomb vest killing countless innocent, defenseless people.

I no longer care. It's like nazis killing nazis or klansmen killing other klansmen. Let them kill each other. I'm tired of the "religion of peace" and their self-proclaimed victimhood status because some infidel had the audacity to treat them as they treat others.

At the beginning of the gulf war, an officer of the US military made a statement about the ME - specifically the islamic countries. He said they were so violent and set in their ways that there was only one way to defeat terrorism. He said we needed to build a wall around the Middle East, let them kill each other, then we shoot the last man standing.

I'm starting to agree with his philosophy.

Hazaras faced widespread oppression from the Taliban when the Islamists ruled most of the country during the 1990s. Mass graves containing the bodies of Hazaras have been found since the militants were overthrown in late 2001.

And yet, there is a growing chorus of ignorance insisting we "negotiate" with the Taliban, and that "including the Taliban" is the only thing that will bring a "lasting peace" in Afghanistan.

Madness.

There can be no victory in Afghanistan so long as the Taliban can rest, recover and recruit in Pakistan. We have been training the Afghan Army for at least five years and it is still not ready to fight the war on its own. I forsee another Vietnam......after so many American and European troops have died for no good reason. We would all be better off using our time and resources opposing the spread of Islam in the USA and Europe.
