Egyptian "human rights group" speaks up for genocidal jihad terrorists

Note that AFP uncritically refers to the Arabic Network for Human Rights Information as a "human rights group," although it would never do the same for an anti-jihad human rights group like SIOA. Only supporters of genocidal jihadis like those of Hamas can be truly called "human rights activists."

"Egypt rights group protests France's blocking Hamas TV," from AFP, June 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):

CAIRO -- An Egyptian human rights group condemned on Wednesday a decision by France to block broadcast by Hamas-run Al-Aqsa TV for alleged "incitement to hatred."

The Arabic Network for Human Rights Information "strongly condemns the decision (taken by France) for allegedly 'inciting hatred,' without sufficient clarification of whether it was for a specific program or specific content that included this alleged incitement," a statement said.

It added that this was "in violation of legal rules that require mentioning the reasons for that action in a clear manner."

Al-Aqsa TV itself protested the decision on Tuesday.

The deputy head of the Gaza-based station told AFP it had been informed that the Paris-based Eutelsat would stop carrying the channel within two days, a move he said would lead to the loss of 70 percent of its viewers.

"We were told that the reason behind the decision to stop broadcasting Al-Aqsa was 'incitement to hatred,' without any explanation," Mohammed Thuraya said.

"This is the unfair result of pressure from the Zionist lobby on the American administration, which in turn pressured France and Eutelsat," he said, adding that the decision had "no legal or moral justification."...

Quran 9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war."

That can't be an 'incitement to hatred', can it?

Europe needs a First Amendment. It's surprising that the Europeans are still backward in that respect. The remedy for bad speech is more speech, not censorship.

The First Amendement of the American Constitution certainly does guarantee citizens and others the Right to Free Speech, but it does not guarantee the right to incitement to violence, criminal acts, libel, or slander.

"Quran 9:5 "Fight and kill the disbelievers wherever you find them, take them captive, harass them, lie in wait and ambush them using every stratagem of war." is most certainly incitement to violence and criminal activity, and when called out aloud in a public place with the intent to influence behaviour, is in the same category as many of the preachments and speeches broadcast on Al-Aqsa TV.

The decision of Eutelsat to pull the plug on Al-Aqsa is only a responsible reaction to the spreading of hateful propaganda by Hamas. If Al-Aqsa TV wants to resume broadcast, then let them censor Hamas or eliminate content produced by Hamas.

I congratulate Eutelsat on its decision, and on its consideration of the rights of all to be safe from intimidation and incitements as carried by Al-Aqsa TV and its supplier, Hamas.

They can still watch Hamas TV all across Europe to their heart's content. It's carried ArabSat. Boo freakin' hoo.

Oh, look, they're blaming AMERICA for pressuring France! And I think I know why:

1. They've already put France in the "win-column." Oh, they may lose the occasional skirmish, but their demographic jihad is rolling through France (and all of Europe) like a runaway locomotive. They know France is theirs--time to get after the "Big Satan!"

2. They're gaming the infinitely game-able Obama administration. If there were EVER an outfit IMMUNE from the "Zionist Lobby," this is the one! So what they REALLY want is for their pro-islamic POTUS to step-forward with REAL pressure on France--but to CONTINUE their programming! I mean, how DARE they say that he, Hussein, is under the influence of JOOOZ! So, they accuse him and hope that he'll show his true, pro-islamic colors yet again. Sure it's a long-shot. But he's a weak man on the wrong side of history--THEIR SIDE--so why not give it a go? They know they couldn't play at this with a REAL AMERICAN president...

We can add "human rights group" to those terms that we in the civilized West use differently from Muslims, such as "justice", "respect", "marriage", "charity", "religious freedom"...really, I could go on and on...

More:

Really—how could France *possibly* have any issues with beaming *Hamas TV* into millions of households? It must be the immoral Americans, urged on by the perfidious Jews—sarc/off

I find it impossible to discover who the ANHRI people are.

Perhaps they deserve more support than condemnation, but I admit the fact that they are Cairo based speaks volumes. There IS a bit of a warning hidden way in "About us": Please notice that the content of the English page is not equal to the Arabic one.

Note that "Home" has not a single reference to a Holy Writ nor the evil Israelis. And that is spectacular indeed!
Is it the bottom line that Arabs and muslims always are in the right in confrontations with the West? And that Human Rights in such cases are of secondary importance?

As the networked world witnesses more and more of the actions of the global jihad, their deceit strategies seem more and more ridiculous (Zionist pressure on Obama . . . ?). That is why their first move was to conquer the media. Hopefully, the truth is still being exposed in straightforward, knowledgeable, and reasonable ways (i.e. not provoked into being discredited)so that enough people will realize the truth behind the global jihad, the true nature of Islam. Of course, many nations have woken up too late and found themselves conquered.
