Spencer: The Jihad of Unmarried New Jersey Men

In Human Events today I skewer media bias regarding the latest jihad news in the U.S.:

How biased is the liberal media? No more or less biased than Barack Obama. Both have made it a matter of policy not to mention "Islam" in connection with "terrorism," and to look resolutely the other way when Islamic jihadists justify their actions by referring to Islamic texts and teachings.

So millions of Americans are completely clueless about the nature of the threat we're facing--understandably, since they simply never have been told. A case in point of how this deceptive game works comes in a Sunday Reuters story about two Islamic jihadists who were arrested at JFK Airport on their way to Somalia to join the jihad there.

This story is not a particularly egregious example of media bias. In fact, it's fairly straightforward (not to say remotely objective), but it reflects what passes for acceptable practices among "journalists" these days.

What details does Reuters think are the most salient details in this case? We learn that the people arrested are "men," and that they're "unmarried American citizens" and "residents of New Jersey." They were planning to join a "militant group" in Somalia, one that Reuters describe as a "youth movement"--you know, like the Boy Scouts with beheadings.

Reuters adds that the arrests had something to do with the men's "social circle." It's unclear what they meant by this. Were these men part of a criminal gang? Or did they plot murder and mayhem at the local mosque, as so many other Muslims have done around the world over the last few years? And if the latter, what interest does Reuters have in making them sound like a bunch of guys playing basketball instead of a band of murderous Islamic supremacists that they are?...

Read it all.

New Jersey causes jihad, obviously.

Just like poverty, cartoons, teddy bears, miniskirts, and George W. Bush.

Which is pretty impressive, since jihad's been raging in fits and starts for more than fourteen hundred years.

It's New Jersey's fault!

Deja Vu.

Weird

I wonder what Spencer thinks about the fact that many of these plots have been disrupted by Muslim undercover agents and police officers. From one side his mouth he says all Muslims are liars, from the other he will hold hands with a Muslim so long as he is Muslim in name only and doesn't criticize the golden calf of your movement: Israel.

I don't think New Jersey causes Jihad, but is damn tolerant of it. Remember our former Governor Jim McGreevey who put his paramour in the top security job in the State after 9/11 even though the man had no credentials at all, not even security clearances? It didn't get any better under following Democrats like Codey and Corzine -- true liberal appeasers. It remains to be seen if Christie will be substantively any different. I think it is unlikely really. We are nearly as cowed by political correctness as the citizens of NYC. Remember, NJ gave us the Fort Dix Six and the crowd that tried to blow up the WTC long before 9/11. NJ is a breeding ground of Islamic terror.

How do you know? Please provide proof.

Yeah - thanks for that proof, Dustbin!

@Dustin:

Robert does not call all Muslims "liars," but points out that their genocidal pedophile Muhammad and his allah sanctioned deceit in defense of Islam, a lesson you've learned well, apparently.

@Stonesriver:

I was mocking the tendency among the pathologically ignorant and deceitful to attribute jihad to everything but the words and works of Muhammad.

Keep up the good work!

PLEASE DO NOT POST:
Mr. Spencer,
I heard (on the radio) that O-blah-blah-ma is now saying that he doesn't think Jesus is the only way to heaven.
I also heard that we are allies with Turkey, meaning that if they go to war, we must join them. And there is concern that they may go against Israel.
I also heard but haven't been able to find in print something O said re: borders. I can only remember a gist of what he said: something to the effect that borders don't exist.
I'm sorry, I was going to add something else, but I forgot.

Loved the boy scout reference!

PS: thanks for all your efforts!
