Pro-jihad mainstream media bias is universal and relentless. And the Telegraph is one of the more modest offenders. "Telegraph Caught Recycling Gaza War Photo to Distort Today's Reality," from Honest Reporting, June 29 (thanks to Andy Infdl):
Why does the Daily Telegraph choose to reuse an image from the 2009 Gaza conflict to inaccurately portray the present day?Photo bias is one of the most insidious forms of anti-Israel media bias and HonestReporting has addressed a number of recent examples, including AFP/Getty and Reuters wire services. Sometimes, however, the newspapers themselves are responsible for misusing imagery.
The following story and accompanying photo appeared in the UK's biggest selling broadsheet, the Daily Telegraph, on 17 June 2010:
Although there is no humanitarian crisis in Gaza and even more aid is pouring in from Israel, the Telegraph's photo gives the impression that Gaza is a warzone.
We weren't convinced. Unable to locate this AP photo in searches of recent images from the wire services in Gaza, we dug a little deeper until we found the very same photo with its original caption taken on 14 January 2009 during Operation Cast Lead...

A picture says a thousand words, but often 99.9% of it may be a lie...Paliwood makes an art form of distorted images, and now we see western media doing the same thing...This deception works good until you get caught at it...The Daily T has lost all credibility with me...It never had a whole lot anyway...
"The blockade prevents Gaza from exporting any goods". What goods do they produce? The only thing they produce seems to be hate and violence. They've been on the dole to the whole world for the past sixty years and they're never going to have anything until they beat their swords into plowshares. The history of the "palestinian people" will read that they were nothing but tools for their respective arab homelands' vendettas.
Do Mr. Spencer and Mr. Fitzgerald have an email address through which I can contact them directly?
It's probably on the main page, but I'm somehow missing it.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Looks like they changed the picture. I now see a Palestinian tunnel "worker" being lowered into a smuggling tunnel.
Egregious propaganda.
Images from Gaza like these one would be much more accurate:

Thanks a lot
Yes, a "worker" trying to get through to Egypt. So, what, may I ask, is this photo doing in an article about easing Israeli restrictions? More dhimmitude.
More so, here’s the latest the BBC with their lefty spin ignoring reporting the Israeli air strike in the title and burying the rocket attack in the story:
http://news.bbc.co.uk/2/hi/world/middle_east/10445898.stm
The bias of the Telegraph and the BBC are well known, and laughable when they say, "Bias? What bias? We're fair and balanced. Now back to the peaceful protest by South Asians being attacked by the far-right wing EDL..."
Bunch of maroons.
Unfortunately, the cleverly dishonest try to paint a picture of Gazan suffering to fit that picture...The dishonest poster Jon of a while back tried to slide the word 'starving' past us, which would go hand in hand with the picture...But the picture is dishonest and so is the description 'starving'...
Oh, woe is the poor terrorist who got blown up making home made bombs...! So much so that they needed to run the image again and again and again... in an effort to show the world there is pain in the world of terror, not only for the Innocent woman and children, but for the bombers themselves... What a steaming pile of goat excrement...! These consummate lairs, and their cohorts in the MSM just don't get it... sadly I doubt they ever will. For on the day the TRUTH is printed across the world, and finally sinks into the sewer pit that is the terrorist supporters mind, they will realize finally that they have been on the wrong side of this from the word jihad...
And this is a supposedly "conservative" English newspaper.
I am not surprised.
In 1999, Daily Telegraph played an evil role in the slander, scourging and crucifiction of Serbia, lying about the Serbs "throwing thousands of Kosovar Albanian civilians into the Trepca mine to their deaths".
After the war, it turned out that nobody was ever thrown into the mine. Like all other allegations of "Serb atrocities in Kosovo" by the European and American media and governments, this one turned out to be a brazen 100% lie. And DT shamelessly compared that "Trepca atrocity" that never happened to Bergen-Belzen and Auschwitz!
Now, it goes Goebbels on Israel, the country that had risen from the ashes of Holocaust.
Ruslan Tokhchukov, EnragedSince1999.
This is old hat for the liars who weave falsehoods and half-"truths" at the presses that daily send forth what would more appropriately be used to wrap fish at an old market.
Does anyone else remember the NY Slimes photograph of what was allegedly a poor Arab young man, bleeding from the head, allegedly beaten senseless on the Temple Mount by the Israeli police officer standing behind him? Turns out that the "Palestinian man" was really a Jewish kid from Jersey being protected from a Muslim mob after he had been dragged from a taxi cab in East Jerusalem. I remember looking at the photograph, wondering "Sheesh, since when was the Haram as Sharif paved with asphalt, lined with black and white stripes, and graced with a gasoline station?" There was a gas station just behind the officer and young man.
A Palestinian beaten by an Israeli police officer on the Temple Mount my ass!
Gaza exports cut flowers and suicide bombers to Israel. Both are perishable goods with a tendency to "go off" after a while. Hamas strongly objects to restrictions on one of these.
The palestinian areas also used to have a lot of people who worked in Israeli factories. Unfortunately filtering out the suicide bombers and other terrorists is too dangerous. This has led to unemployment and an economic 'crisis'.
This is all cause and effect. It's a lot easier to search empty trucks than full loads, and the flowers would perish due to searching delays.
Your story of the Mohammedan propaganda presenting a Jewish victim of Muslims, as the Muslim victim of Eevil Jooz, reminds me of something that happened in Nigeria this year.
Earlier this year, Muslims attacked Christians in Nigeria.
They claimed it was in revenge for Christian attacks that had killed some Muslims.
Baroness Caroline Cox, of Christian Solidarity International, was told, by Nigerian Christians, that in the first set of incidents Muslims had 1. killed Christians (which Christians were, incidentally, trying to defend themselves against Muslims; a *real* close look, discovered that the Muslims started the fight) and then 2. quickly dragged the bodies of the *Christians* they had killed, into the mosques and then 3. **displayed them to gullible western journalists, as MUSLIM victims of Christian violence**!!
I must say that I have no difficulty believing that story, at all.
It is 'playing the victim' taken to a dizzying reductio ad absurdum.
There is a peculiarly Mohammedan ghastliness about murdering people from a particular group, and then dressing up the dead bodies to look like members of your own group, to use them for agitprop and PR, justifying your next wave of killings of the group to which the original murder victim/s belonged.
