Berlin politician gets flak from Eurodhimmis for inviting Geert Wilders

I had the great pleasure of meeting Rene Stadtkewitz when I spoke for Pax Europa in Berlin last year. He is a measured, intelligent, well-spoken politician who is deeply aware of the nature of Sharia and the threat of the global jihad. But when he has tried to raise awareness of those things among his fellow citizens by bringing in Wilders to speak, he has been targeted by the slaves who are choosing slavery. "Berlin Politician in Trouble for Inviting Dutch Populist Wilders," from Spiegel, July 27 (thanks to all who sent this in):

CDU politician Rene Stadtkewitz is in trouble with his party for a provocative invitation.

A local Berlin politician from Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservatives is under fire for inviting Dutch populist Geert Wilders to a meeting on Islam on October 2. Rene Stadtkewitz, who is known for his anti-Islamic views, has refused to cancel the invitation, and now faces eviction from his party's parliamentary group in the city assembly.

A local Berlin politician is in trouble for inviting Dutch right-wing populist Geert Wilders, who is known for his provocative positions on Islam and immigration, to a political event in Berlin.

Rene Stadtkewitz, 45, a member of Chancellor Angela Merkel's conservative Christian Democrats (CDU), looks set to be excluded from the CDU's parliamentary group in the Berlin city assembly after inviting Wilders to Berlin on October 2 to discuss integration and Islam. He had also discussed founding a branch of Wilders' Freedom Party in Germany.

Frank Henkel, the CDU's regional parliamentary group leader, gave Stadtkewitz an ultimatum: Withdraw the invitation by July 26 or face the consequences.

Stadtkewitz refused in an open letter in which he also suggested that the CDU should be doing more to combat Islam politically. Up until now, public debate about the Islamic faith had been "too timid" in Germany, Stadtkewitz wrote. He added that the debate should focus on the defense of freedom and of Christian values, including concerns about "countless young women, who are forced into arranged marriages, enslaved and who sometimes become victims of so-called honor killings."

'No Place in Our Party'

Henkel responded Monday by saying that he would propose a motion to exclude Stadtkewitz from the parliamentary group because he had distanced himself from "the goals of the conservatives."...

What are those goals? Islamization? Sharia? Dhimmitude?

The official dhimmitude of a mainstream Christian and conservative party -- in which one brave man is the beleaguered exception --: One more piece of evidence for the mountain of evidence showing that PC MC remains dominant in the West and not merely the province of "liberals", "Leftists" and atheists.

stinks of cowardice!

He gives his colleague René Stadtkewitz an ultimatum otherwise he will dismissed him.

This is a deprivation of freedom.

The politician Frank Henkel treated his colleagues like children in the kindergarten, and not in a free society. He can only censor the truth and contravenes against the freedom of meetings, freedom of speech, freedom of conscience, etc.

Because René wants to meet 0Geert Wilders in Berlin on 2 October 2010. PI (German)

UPDATE: René Stadtkewitz hold onto the invitation of Geert Wilders!

Open letter (German) to Frank Henkel

".. in trouble for inviting Dutch right-wing populist Geert Wilders,.."
Thanks to Geert Wilders and his supporters we now know a lot more about Islam, Muhammad and..."The Pigs of Arabia".

I have never even heard of Rene Stadtkewitz. He is a local politician in Berlin, member of the conservative party (CDU) and elected representative in the city parliament of Berlin. The parliamentary leader of the conservative group in the local Berlin parliament wants to expel him if he invites Gerd Wilders. Mr. Stadtkewitz published an open letter in response.

I read his letter. It is a very eloquent and intelligent justification for inviting Gerd Wilders. Gerd Wilders is a democratic politician of a neighbouring country. He is leader of one of the major parties, which will - most likely - be part of the next Dutch government. Inviting and talking with this politician is a matter of respect for our Dutch neighbours. He talks about the immigration problems in Berlin, in particular the large muslim community primarily of Turkish origin. Therefore, the role of Islam in this context is relevant and important for the city of Berlin. He explains that Islam is not just a religion but also a political doctrine. He quotes Churchill and Karl Marx opinion about Islam, which are very similar. Therefore, Gerd Wilders opinion on Islam is not a right/left issue.

I think he knows what he is talking about. I wish him the best of luck.

Oh, here is the Marx quote, which I find quite telling:

"The Koran and the muslim legislation based on the quran reduce the geography and ethnography of various peoples to the simple and convenient division between believers and unbelievers. The unbeliever is "Harby", that is the enemy. Islam ostracizes the nation of infidels, and creates a state of permanent hostility between Muslims and infidels. In this sense, the pirate ships of the Barbary States were the holy fleet of Islam. "(Marx-Engels-
Works, Volume 10, p. 170)."

Wow, Karl Marx and Robert Spencer probably agree, how unlikely is that? ;-)

@Hans
But I see through your eyes
And I see through your brain
like I see through the water that runs down my drain.

A while ago, I wrote a comment wondering if there was hope the CDU could develop some awareness of the Islamic threat. Now we know the answer is no, unfortunately.

@Hans: The Joooos don't have anything to do with it.

Cowardice, opportunism, and multikulti run amok on the one hand, combined with aggressive, oil-funded jihad conquest on the other hand account for the situation.

Hans dear, are you an old nazi, new nazi, or just a plain nazi? Which is it, dear?

Kudos to Rene Stadtkewitz for standing up and speaking. May this be the start of a new party in Germany, like Geert Wilders created in Holland. Commentator "Hans" above, with his obvious anti-Jewish bias, need not apply for membership.

Hans, I think you're on the wrong site, try ICH , those Jew-haters masquerading as anti-Zionists will welcome you with open arms.

I don't see Geert Wilders calling for people to get out their bludgeons and brickbats. I do, however, see lots of Mohammed Bouyeris out there sharpening their knives and playing with explosives.

However, I do wince when Wilders calls for the banning of the Qu'ran (or even _Mein Kampf_, disgusting book that it is, for that matter); but maybe that's just because Europeans are more simple and childish than we Americans are, and they can't be trusted to make sound judgments if they had something like the First Amendment and could read whatever they liked. See? I've learned to make excuses, too!

Let's all wave goodbye to the now-deleted Hans.

So much the worse for the CDU. If they keep up their dimmitude, their popularity will plummet.

Kepha,
Wilders has been calling for a First Amendment for Europe. He only calls for the banning of the Qur'an so long as hate-speech laws are being used to prosecute anyone who criticizes Islam. If hate speech laws are going to be used to silence critics of Islam, then, Wilders says, those laws should in all fairness be used to ban the Qur'an, which certainly contains much that qualifies as violent, totalitarian, hate speech. However, as soon as a First Amendment, which Wilders supports in Europe, is established, Wilders will drop his efforts to ban the Qur'an.

At any rate, that's how I understand his position. Perhaps I've got it wrong. Can anyone verify?

I've given up embracing this wish since Schäuble and other traitors called in the "Islamkonferenz".
