Muslims should never fear feeling pain in other parts of the world. It appears that Switzerland and France are awakening to the truth behind Islam's mask of peace and co-existence. Banning new minarets and the veil, are steps in the right direction. However, here in America, we have a Muslim for a president, so my dear peaceful Muslims, America is welcoming you with open arms. Our president has already proclaimed that we are no longer a Christian nation, but we are the second largest Muslim nation in the world. Muslims from Pakistan and most of the Middle East are - on the whole - uneducated and living as if they were in the 11th century... backwards and ignorant. They come to the west under their own volition, obviously seeking a better life (well, the UK social network gives them 100X more money then they earned in Pakistan for not working). If they come here, they should realize that they should try to assimilate, not hoist their backwards culture and mentality on us. If they don't like the idea that the women's bag-rag is to be banned, then let them go back to the filthy, uncivilized area from which they came.
I suggest that the Welsh Defence League might organise a counter-demonstration or two or three, featuring scratch choirs singing favourite Welsh songs, *loudly*.
(In Muslim lands, dhimmis are not permitted to sing or pray loudly in public - or even *inside their churches*, lest they offend the tender sensibilities of the poor, poor widdle Muslims. Gwyn Jones' "Welsh Legends and Folktales" (1955; 1956), from the third section 'Tales Old and New', the story 'Where Arthur Sleeps'.
In this story a Wise Man and a Welshman enter a cave in Craig-y-Dinas.
There they see, "Hanging from the passage roof was a bronze bell the size of a beehive, with a clanger as long as your arm, and the Wise Man begged the Welshman on no account to touch it, for if he did, disaster would surely follow.
'Soon they reached the main cave...it was filled with warriors in bright armour and asleep on the floor. There was an outer ring of a thousand men, and an inner ring of a hundred, their heads to the wall and their feet to the centre, each with sword, shield, battle-axe and spear; and outermost of all lay their horses...And in the middle of them all lay a king and emperor at rest, as they knew by the splendour of his array and the jewelled crown beneath his hand and the awe and majesty of his person."
A little later on in the tale, "Who are these warriors?' asked the Welshman. 'And who is their sleeping king?
'"The King is Arthur, and those that surround him are the men of the Island of the Mighty.

Poetically speaking, if and when ordinary non-Muslim people in Britain - Welsh, Scots and English, and those non-Muslims from other lands who have consciously committed themselves to the land and the laws of Britain - rise up in sufficient numbers, to take back the streets and squares, the forests and fields, the villages and towns, from the encroaching Mohammedans, then it *will* be as if the legendary heroes of the past, Arthur and Alfred and all those brave men who fought at their side, have arisen in power out of the shadows.

This Yaffir is himself full of the double standards he says he is against. The contrast between the rights of Muslims in Democratic countries and those of the Non-Muslims in Islamic countries is so manifestly big!
He is of the "Ummah" of Muhammad". Here is that controversy again about whether Muslims should be considered divided or united, pertaining to what most Muslims are REALLY loyal to, to the Ummah or to their country and it's constitution, values, interests when those contradict each other.
He, Yaffir, and the demonstrators are very willing to be supportive of other Muslims around the world, when "in pain", caused by hating non-Muslims in their opinion, I suppose.
But then afterwards when atrocious declarations and deeds are done by Muslims to Non-Muslims, the Muslims in the West declare these as somehow cultural, distinct from what they believe. All the while stressing the diversity and division of the Muslims worldwide.
I think they can't have it both ways; Either they are united and support each other, OK, but then also they are being held accountable together,
Or, they are really divided, but then their highest, most dominating, frequent, loyalty should be to the governments and laws, values and interests of their countries. And that should be checked and proven.
