France denies citizenship to Muslim immigrant who failed to "assimilate into French society"

Watch for the howls of "Islamophobia." I will shed a tear for this Moroccan man, however, on the day that construction is completed on a church or synagogue in Mecca. "France denies citizenship to Muslim man," from AFP, July 9 (thanks to Twostellas):

A Moroccan man who refused to shake hands with a French female official and whose wife wears the full Islamic veil has been denied French citizenship, the immigration ministry said Friday.

The man, who has been living in France since 1999 and married a French woman in 2004, failed to "assimilate into French society" and displayed a "discriminatory attitude toward women," said the ministry.

He "refused to shake the hand of a female official whom he met at the state prefecture because it was 'against his religion'", said a statement....

Thank God. France - are you waking up?

I think that only 5 years ago this Throwback and his Slave would have been granted citizenship with flying colors. Heck, 2-3 years ago.

Finally some signs of sanity from a dhimmified nation of Europe.
France needs to be congratulated on coming out of the stupor of political correctness.
Britain, take heed of what France has done and make changes, mainly to your mind-set, and resolve: it is ok to insist that people who want to live in any European country should appreciate the values of that country.

I will shed a tear for this Moroccan man, however, on the day that construction is completed on a church or synagogue in Mecca.

So will I Robert, but also when, in addition to a church AND a synagogue, we see Hindu and Buddhist temples there as well. Maybe the giant black cube could become a seat for a giant Buddha statue, as an effort to turn mahoundianism into a true religion of peace like Buddhism...

Oh, but that would mean that the bedouin savages descended from the ones that concocted Mein Qurampf would have to write a new such book. Never mind...

I will never shed a tear for a Muslim Throwback and his stupid Slave whether a church, synagogue, or temple is built in Mecca or not.

How about a Wiccan shrine and ritual center? :)

lol, nope, not one of those, either. But, glad you asked! I'm glad we cleared that up!

Isolated case or will la Republique Francaise extend this logic and precedent to the millions of other CITIZENS OR NON-CITIZENS, who don't merely fail, but OUTRIGHT REFUSE to assimilate????

This non-assimilation was briefly and mildly displayed during Algeria's short time in the World Cup. If Algeria AND France had advanced, and especially if they had faced each other, the true loyalties would have been there for all to see.

Spain and Holland both have large numbers of Muslimfiltrators. Let's see to what extent they partake in the celebrations of the winning team. My guess - ZERO. How long before FIFA starts scheduling games around prayer times, before finally deeming them "unislamic" in the first place and then abandonning them altogether??

Bravo France!

This is a cause for a smile, but not a celebration. He was denied citizenship, but apparently not deported. He and his evil ways are still there enjoying the croissants.

La Republique Française should take this simple test, and yes, there is a cure...

he should have worked more on his nasals and less on his gutturals. might've bought time: "trying"

Glad you got a chuckle...:)

This is a baby step, a crumb. The problem with this goes beyond what fscarn above notes -- that the Muslim is still allowed to live in France: the ruling implies that all Muslim men who don't refuse to shake the hands of women, whose wives don't wear the full hijab, are harmless and may become French citizens.

The ruling thus is a green light for stealth jihadists.

ROBERT: "I will shed a tear for this Moroccan man, however, on the day that construction is completed on a church or synagogue in Mecca."

Muslims often use Vatican City as a moral equivalence to the ban on infidel houses of worship in Saudi Arabia. My counter is that VC is a tiny piece of real estate in an otherwise huge country where mosques are proliferating. In this vain, I'll readily concede that Mecca is a "holy city" to Muslims and that revocation of the ban on infidel houses of worship in the rest of the country would be sufficient for the purposes of reciprocity.

Revocation - should it ever happen - will be a tell-tale indicator that Islam is finally jettisoning its supremacist character. Hut I'm not holding my breath; the ban is based on Muhammad's own, death-bed dictate.

VC doesn't have a mosque but if you step out its border in Rome you will finde several moques and some of them are pretty big but while muslims can visit Vatican City us kuffir can't neter in Mecca city

Btw is this the same fellow who had several wives and was put on trial because he asked for too many benefit?

It is about time that someone in France has wisened up even if it is only a small step. Maybe this will lead to stronger measures. Too bad all of
Europe would'nt follow suit. Deportation would be a much better solution, however, for now I'll settle for being denied citizenship.

I'm pleased about this but ............
would they have reacted the same if this behaviour had been exhibited to someone who wasn't a member of a protected species ( this time it was one of the 'wimin ' he refused to shake hands with )

"Boo-effing-hoo"

Exactly. Who gives a flying? No tears whatsoever for the Throwback Muslims.

That's good, of course.

But I'm afraid it's only a bit of posturing by Nicolas Sarkozy in order to get reelected in 2012. He took a good part of the far-right vote when he won the presidency. The Front National followers have felt betrayed by his immigration policy ever since.

Similarly, Eric Besson, the minister in charge of immigration, has just announced an audit on the cost of illegal immigration. This is a major turnaround in France, where official data on immigration is heavily doctored -- when it exists at all.

But this suggests that the cost of legal immigration is a non-issue. The same way a burqa ban would imply that anything less extreme than the full veil (the tchador, hijab or plain Muslim veil) is legitimate.

I have no problem with the French denying this man's attempt to become a citizen.

As an aside, orthodox Jewish law also forbids a man to shake hands with,or to be alone with, a woman who is not a relative.

I'm not sure if the latter applies in all instances, though. For example, some laws are allowed to be dispensed with under certain circumstances; for instance, refusing to shake the lady's hand might create what's called "chillul hashem" (profaning God's Name by creating a negative impression against Jews and the Torah) or for what is called "darkhei shalom" (the ways of peace). Basically, halachah is designed to increase peace and understanding, and when its minutuea (sp.?) has the potential of creating misunderstanding in certain circumstances, some aspects of it can be dispensed with.

Kim: Thank God. France - are you waking up?

While I agree with your sentiments, reality kicks in with a vengeance.

The Moroccan has been denied French citizenship at the lowest procedural stage, that of bureaucracy. This will likely lead invariably to political and religious appeals, with or without intimidation, and on to litigation, from local to provincial to national and international levels, and ultimately if necessary to the supreme court of Human Rights, before which as we know politicians of the free world tremble. Ironically, it is this court that is responsible for the greatest and continuing Human Rights violations of all, that of undermining the innocent majority with the rights of those that actively seek to do them harm. Oh yes, and as another poke in the nose, all at the cost of the taxpayer, and with the left wing media in support of the fifth column shrieking hysterically from the sidelines.

Throughout the process, the resources of the infidel French will be further strained, and please don't anyone fantasise that the end result will be other than to the Moroccan's satisfaction, even if it involves some token change of attitude. This is a virtual certainty, just as soon as the legal process stumbles upon one of the myriad flaws, defects, technicalities, weak links and dhimmis strategically planted over the years within the very process.

Cut through the immense political and financially burdensome smoke and mirrors, and read this 'story' for what it is. Some low level bureaucrat took exception to this man's attitude and used their authority to deny him citizenship within their convenient interpretation of the rules, perhaps to make a point or save face...then enter the media to spice it up, since the 'victim' is a Muslim, and we cheer and celebrate this illusion of victory for common sense. Only, the outcome is a foregone conclusion.

My two hopes are that when this is over the concerned bureaucrat will be only lightly disciplined by his superiors, and also that neither he nor his family face the savagery of peaceloving justice.

The bottom line is that Sharia law guarantees Muslim privilege. The laws of a country usually do not officially favor one group in the population over everyone else, unless it is a Muslim country. Muslim democracy is just a jihad tool wherein the Muslim population dominates in numbers through emigration, proliferation, and/or genocide of the native population/non-Muslims (like in Africa), and then votes in Sharia law. Unfortunately, as the original Bible points out (not rewritten by Muhammad in the Quran), the children of darkness are often more vigilant than the children of the light. So, militant global jihadists, or as Obama refers to them as the "Muslim world," refuse to even acknowledge the laws of any country unless they are Sharia law. Therefore, at least in this country to date, such behavior is crime and should be prosecuted as crimes of insurrection and hate against non-Muslims.

Vive la France! (Hope that my spelling is correct.)

at last one piece of good news from France.

Concerned912,
as a native French speaker I can tell you that your spelling is correct except that according to the French typography rules there should be a space before the exclamation mark: "Vive la France !" And now I wonder whether I should not have put one or two commas somewhere in my sentence... It's often a terrible thing to be a perfectionist!

What's the name of the law we utilize in the name of "tolerance" to build a chain of Rick Warren style Christian outreach Mega-Churches, with a 17-story adminstration HQ building established in downtown Ryhad?

Anybody?

a fellow patriot

Hurray for France! Finally a nation with courage to stand up against Muslim fascism! Viva la France!
