Yet another There Is No Fun In Islam* Alert from the Islamic guardians of Somalia. "Somali Islamic group cracks down on TV sets," from Reuters, July 26 (thanks to The Religion of Peace):
MOGADISHU, July 26 (Reuters) - Somali Islamist rebels have ordered residents in areas they control to hand over televisions and satellite dishes, warning that anyone who did not would be considered a spy, residents said on Monday.The affected region is largely controlled by the al Shabaab group, a rebel militia linked to al Qaeda which enforces a harsh version of sharia law that includes banning school bells, ringtones on cell phones and music on radios.
Members of the militia group, which has also banned watching football and films, have warned residents through loud speakers mounted on vehicles in towns across southern and central Somalia to give up their TV sets before the Muslim fasting month of Ramadan starts in mid-August.
"Families were told to surrender their television sets and satellite dishes. They are afraid some of us may use them as private channels for communication," Abshir, a resident of Buula-barde, told Reuters.
"In the past, we could not watch games or films as we wanted. Now, we cannot have TV sets at all," he said, declining to give his second name for safety reasons....

I always think the phrase Islam = No Fun is a great punchy placard slogan.
It was used very successfully in the UK against a racist/anti Jewish group called the National Front.
i.e National Front = No Fun.
"No Sharia Here" was another good one I recently saw at an EDL parade.
My guess is that the Somalis are coming up short on a deal they brokered to provide TV's to Pakis so they can watch their porn. A Holy War the likes of which mankind has never known will erupt if they fall through on their promise. Porn Jihad could become the latest entry in Islam's lexicon.
Putting an already unlivable country into total darkness with maximum Sharia law is what puts them back to the stone age. This is what the west looks forward to when we allow sharia law to infitrate our society.
If Somalis are so darn poor that they constantly need handouts from the West in order just to eat, WTF are they doing with television sets? Especially when politicos like to complain about our own poor folk having TVs ("If they're watching TV, they're not out looking for work".) So where did Somalis (those thin folk we see CONSTANTLY begging on the TV) get TVs?

Islam unchecked will lead to rot like this. And Islam moderated will still lead to semi-rot. Should be obvious to anyone with half a brain that it is Islam, all of Islam, I mean the whole damn religion, which is the problem. Unfortunately, half a brain (and specifically that area where the capacity for moral intelligence resides) apparently is asking too much from both Muslims and dhimmi apologists for Islam. The foolishness continues and will continue until Islam is seen for what it is----a highly distorted and pathological view of mankind.
Islam is malevolent. It's a religion for weak minds and sickos. Until this is recognized by the vast majority of the non-Muslim world, Islam will continue to use its great advantage as a world religion to foster its pathetic assessment of the human condition.

Islam can only survive through intimidation, violence, and deception. We, in the West, are capable of resisting all these tactics.
The question is, will we?
