An update on this story, in which Modern, Moderate Morocco continues to enforce Sharia's prohibition on the propagation -- or even the alleged propagation -- of non-Islamic religions. "Morocco Continues to Purge Nation of Foreign Christians," from Compass Direct News, July 1:
ISTANBUL, July 1 (CDN) -- Moroccan authorities expelled eight more foreign Christians from the country last weekend, bringing the total of deported Christians since March to 128.
Two foreign women married to Moroccan Christians were included in this third wave of deportations since March, raising concerns that local authorities intend to harass the country's small but growing Protestant community.
"They are all in fear," a source told Compass, "because this happened to people who are married."
One of the women, a Lebanese national married to a Moroccan, was diagnosed with cancer last month and is the mother of a 6-year old girl whom she was forced to leave behind.
A Spanish national, Sara Domene, 31, was also deported on Monday (June 28), according to news sources. Domene was working as a language teacher in the Western Sahara, a territory under Moroccan sovereignty.
Authorities called the foreigners to police stations across Morocco on Friday (June 25) and told them they had 48 hours to leave the country on grounds of "threatening public order."
Other nationals who were forced to leave the country over the weekend came from France, Egypt, Lebanon, Switzerland, Nigeria and Spain.
A source explained that Moroccan authorities are essentially deporting Christians for "proselytism," which is illegal in Morocco, but in order to justify the deportations they have claimed that the foreigners pose a threat to the state.

It's projection: because **Muslims** regularly, if not powerful enough to employ open threats, offer bribes to poor people to try to induce them to convert (the Barnabas Fund is aware of many instances of this being attempted, in southern Africa and in the Caribbean, for example; and there are members of this forum, including Hugh Fitzgerald himself, who have spoken of people they personally knew, Westerners, who - working in Saudi Arabia or other Gulf Arab states - were offered large sums of money if they would only convert to islam), they can't imagine that Christians would do any differently.
And since we know that Muslims feel entitled to use every imaginable means, including bribery, violence, fraud and threats, to gain recruits for the Mohammedan mob, their furious condemnation of the very idea that non-Muslims be permitted to even invite a Muslim to convert, shows a refusal of the principle of reciprocity, an arrogant supremacism.

Muslims are particularly worried about Morocco (and Algeria) for two reasons.
The first is the influence of the French-language press, accessible to many more in Morocco and Algeria (and Tunisia, already under the police-state thumb of Ben Ali who keeps the fanatical Muslims down), and thus of a higher degree of mental freedom among those who are considered the intellectual class.
The second are the large numbers of non-Arab Berbers. In Morocco they constitute a majority of the population, though the ruling Arabs like to pretend otherwise. And the more aware they become of all the ways in which the ruling Arabs suppress the Berber culture and language, that is practice a cultural and linguistic imperialism that is part of Islam's rule as a vehicle for Arab supremacism, the more likely they are to be willing to consider the claims and appeal of Christianity.
This appeal, and these claims, will not disappear. And the more keenly a Berber (or an "Arab" who discovers or simply imagines the circumstances which explain his Berber ancestors' becoming forcibly arabizd) feels his "Berberness," the more keenly he recognizes the ruthless domination by the Arabs, the more likely he is to wish to distance himself from what I called just a few sentences ago "a vehicle for Arab supremacism" -- that is, Islam itself.
This won't stop. Not in Morocco. Not in the Kabyle. And not among the Berbers -- more advanced than the Arabs because able to draw on another, non-Islamic identity -- who live in France.

I don't think that the Moslem countries have signed the U.N.'s declaration of human rights. Instead, the 56 OIC countries signed the Cairo Declaration of Human Rights, which is basically the U.N. declaration except where it conflicts with Sharia. In other words, most of the U.N. declaration is nullified, and any rights that remain are pretty much reserved for Moslems.
So the Moslem countries essentially reject what the U.N. stands for, which is why the U.S., the West in general, and the other free countries of the world should leave the U.N. and cease their funding of it, and establish a new forum of their own.

This is an excellent report but it needs some history to make it more relevant. 50 years ago, before we ever heard of radical Islam, Morocco had laws restricting the rights of Christians and every other non-Muslim. I know this from personal experience. My father was born in Morocco, was a Muslim and became a U.S. citizen. He went back to Morocco after he retired, shortly before he died. His estate lawyers in New York were told by the court in Tangiers that my father's sons could not inherit his Morocco assets unless we converted to Islam. We did not and his relatives there took everything. Luckily the Morocco assets were only half of his wealth and we inherited what he left in the U.S.A.
If every single incident of the global jihad was reported on accurately in the media, there would be no more foolish deception (except for those who refused to see out of self-interest). The "Muslim world" refers to the West, particularly the U.S., as the "great satan" because our freedom, reasonableness, prosperity, individual rights, etc., etc., etc., tend to cause Muslims to question the reasonableness and goodness of Islam and to compare the results of systems of law, and to reject the evil falsehood inherent in Islam. Islam has a built-in Berlin Wall, keeping Muslims trapped under penalty of death. We cannot break down that wall for them. The decent "moderate" (i.e. passive) Muslims must unite and throw off their own yoke and run toward the light. Our duty would then be to accept them and offer them protection from sharia law. But how can we be do that, if we don't even protect ourselves?

My Moroccan boyfriend told me the other night that the Tamazight language is now taught in all the schools in Morocco by order of King Mohammed VI. Only about 30% of the population speak one of the dialects of the Tamazight language with most speaking Arabic. It's a shame that the Moroccan people have been brainwashed into believing that the Arabic language and culture is superior to their beautiful culture and language. When I ask him about this, he just shrugs.
A distant light at the end of the tunnel, what with Berbers beginning to grasp how they've been had and European nations in the early stages of coping with the mess created by Muslim immigration (the court systems in Europe, as in America, will serve as the last stronghold of the clueless dhimmi), but there's still a long way to go yet before man's most long-term totalitarian system, Islam, is marginalized, humiliated, reviled and finally beaten. This will happen because exposure to Islamic doctrine and continued violence by the more "enthusiastic" Muslims will finally turn off the vast majority of those in the West and throughout the world and the lies Muslims tell about their religion will no longer be believed. But it's a very long tunnel that has yet to be traversed before full light is reached.
How about expelling all those moroccans in Europe whom half have criminal records (Netherlands, etc.)

A Morrocan Jewish neighbor told me that, in his native land, a Muslim who converts to another religion receives a five-year prison sentence.
His uncle had to be smuggled out of the country to France when he had a sexual liason with a Muslim Arab woman. The choice he was given was conversion to Islam or prison time.
Morocco, prior to the period of French colonial rule, was exceedingly cruel to its Jewish population (the Jews, of course, had been in Morocco long before the Arab Muslim invaders arrived).

Strangely, the authors note that Sol's grave is a place of pilgrimage for Moroccan Muslims and not just Jews. This goes with what I've heard before, that despite their general intolerance of other religions, Muslim Moroccans have a tendency to venerate the sacred relics and saints of other religions.
It is important to note that the many articles we read here about the persecution of Christians in muslim countries are unseen by most people. The average American hasn't a clue about the treatment of Christians and other non-muslims in muslim hellholes, although our Arab/muslim enthralled State Department is fully aware but chooses not to publicize this information. It might lead to 'islamophobia', God forbid. For reasons too complicated for me to comprehend, the U.S. government is following the suicidal path of Europe's infallible intelligentsia and social engineering elites when it comes to islam. The super human perspicacity possessed by the intrepid pioneers who have betrayed their own people and civiliziation by selling them out to islam transcends my cognitive abilities. I do seem to recall that 'peace' is of tantamount importance to these people which begs the question: why would they encourage the most bellicose, irrational savages on earth to invade their continent? After World War II, the Europeans vowed to prevent future wars between European nations and almost immediately proceeded to create the ideal climate for endless civil wars between imperialistic muslim colonists and native Europeans.
There is undoubtedly an explanation for the insanity that is occurring in Europe and America but the rationale is lost on me. The global warming/climate change fanatics are determined to severely curtail the use of fossil fuels regardless of the impact on Western economies and standards of living, and despite the fact that there are no viable alternatives. The Europeans are far more supportive of the climate change agenda than Americans so what is the point of Eurabia if Middle Eastern oil is not the catalyst?
It is simply inconceivable to me that lust for a multicultural utopia, its blatant failures already evident, is galvanizing the destruction of Europe. Maybe I'll understand some day but for now, I give up.
