The New York Times--with the exception of some honorable reporters in the field (you know who you are)--never ceases to amaze one in the spectacularly biased writings of those back at headquarters. Here's one that's particularly remarkable, a real piece of advocacy in which the reporter does everything possible to justify flotilla ships trying to run the blockade of the Gaza Strip.He also selectively discusses the IHH sponsor of the previous flotilla, leaving out all the evidence (presented in my articles and elsewhere) of its radical and terrorist connections, including U.S. court documents. I explained this for the Times more than five weeks ago but they paid no attention and they still cannot find any of this evidence!
The article even includes a pro-IHH video without any balancing video, of which a number are easily available. There is virtually no hint that the militants on board had earlier shouted slogans advocating genocide for Jews, declared their intention to be Jihad martyrs, or attacked and kidnapped the arriving soldiers....
Ya only wish that the left would get everything that they wish for, jihad, Shari'ah, high taxation, government-as-far-as-the-eye-can-see, the full plate of liberal sexuality, the full disarming of the USA, cap-and-trade, and all of the other pet causes of the left,
But with one condition,
The results are imposed only on them, not the rest of us.
They deserve everything they want. But I don't deserve it!
That's exactly what Bruce Bawer says about the NYT. How come that intelligent people always get to the same conclusions?

I still don't get why they must break the blockade to get aid through to Gaza. The Israelis have stated again and again that they will unload everything in Ashdod and transfer it overland to Gaza.
Why the need for ships docking in Gaza if they have nothing to hide?

Today´s front page of the reputable Danish weekly "Weekendavisen" is about anti-Semitism in Sweden and the city of Malmö in particular and European racism in general.
In the article is quoted the Swedish historian Henrik Bachner, an expert on recent Swedish anti-Semitism: "The functioning of anti-Semitism rests on a serious misunderstanding. Anti-Semitism has been developed in a Christian European culture and exported to the Arab world during the 19th Century".
And that´s it. Never a word telling us about the muslim prophet´s campaigns against the Jews of the Arabian Peninsula. We are to blame, we alone.

Egypt's companion blockade (to Israel's) of Gaza isn't mentioned for the same reason that social ills existing in Muslim countries (such as unrelenting poverty, police abuses, intra-familial pathologies, etc.) are unremarked upon in their home contexts, but unfailingly and prominently publicized if they occur in Israel: that is, revelation of Muslim suffering is a public relations tool in no way for the alleviation of their suffering, but instead used for the undermining of the interests and legitimacy of Israel. In general, Muslim suffering is of little concern to Muslims or its allied non-Muslims, unless it can be blamed on Israel, or the U.S. Only then will emerge the animation and energy not otherwise applied to truly cogent matters of concern.
Say, what race is a Moslem anyway? Oh that's right, only a Moslem apologist tries to make it a race vice a religious issue... By all means, continue your insanity instead of asking the simple question: "Is it true?" - millions die because yo refuse to think or reason.
On the other hand, the PA is worse than Hamas. It strongly endorses all of the same things as Hamas vis-a-vis Israel's total destruction, just not in English. palwatch.org documents the statements of Abbas and his population's "religious" and political leaders, media, and teachers, etc. They are all about one overriding desire, the annihilation of Israel, God forbid. The so-called "West Bank" population would vote-in Hamas in an election & choose real Islam like that which is exhibited in Gaza; brutal, sub-human, savage, barbaric, primeval, etc.
Those are the same Sulzberger Goebbelses who played an evil role in the slander, scourging and crucifiction of Serbia. As I have repeatedly stated here, the Serbs are now the canaries for the Israelis: the evil done unto Serbia is now attempted against Israel.
