Exactly what kind of message is that expected to send to Britons in general, and to the Vast Majority of Moderate Muslims who probably ought to be outraged at this sort of thing?

An Islamic extremist who has described al-Qaeda as a "myth" and justified the killing of British troops in Iraq has been chosen as the main link between the Metropolitan Police and the Muslim community.
Scotland Yard will now face pressure to renounce Azad Ali, the new chair of the Muslim Safety Forum, which is recognised by the Met under a formal written agreement as "the principal body in relation to Muslim community safety and security".
The deal says that the Met will "use the MSF as a consultation body to help formulate policy or practice". Mr Ali was the founding chair of the MSF in 2006, but left that job in 2008 and resigned entirely from the group last year after publicity over his extremist comments. Last week, he was quietly reappointed as its chairman.
Reappointed by whom?
Mr Ali is a senior official of the fundamentalist Islamic Forum of Europe (IFE), which works, in its own words, to create an Islamic state under sharia law in Europe. The IFE and the MSF share the same offices.
He has previously praised a key mentor of Osama bin Laden. Earlier this year, he was filmed by an undercover reporter from Channel 4's Dispatches stating: "Democracy, if it means not implementing the sharia, of course nobody agrees with that."
When the documentary was aired, Mr Ali attacked the reporter on the IFE's official radio station, saying: "We've got a picture of you and a lot more than you thought we had. We've tracked you down to different places. And if people are gonna turn what I've just said into a threat, that's their fault, innit?"
Mr Ali's comments about terrorism were made on his official blog on the IFE website. Earlier this year, he lost a libel action against a newspaper which reported them. The judge, Mr Justice Eady, said that Mr Ali "was indeed taking the position that the killing of American and British troops in Iraq would be justified", describing his claim as "bound to fail" and having an "absence of reality".

I know for a fact that there are just as knowledgeable members of the Muslim community who do not share his subversive views."

All these incidents keep demonstrating how it's the West that's allowing Islamization to continue unhindered and grow in leaps and bounds.
How can we win when things like this keep happening? Can someone please look into this and fire whoever reappointed this nutcase? Once that's done, fire Ali himself.
I don't think people have a right to go to war against a government they can easily remove from office through recalls or elections. The people have recently spoken, electing the Tories, and that's what they get.
One looks on like one would at a brother taking drugs. There's little one can do.

When you have fully absorbed the implications of what these various people have to tell you about, then have another think about what you said, as quoted by Mr Gilligan in the Telegraph, "I know for a fact that there are just as knowledgeable members of the Muslim community *who do not share his subversive views*" and ask yourself whether you would still be prepared to say it.
Please, Mr Mercer, allow yourself to entertain the thought that, just possibly, Islam (the Ummah, or Mohammedan Mob) may be an entity, a human gestalt, that more closely resembles Nazism, Communist states, or the Mafia, than anything else; that is, an entity about which knowledge can most reliably be gained from 1. sceptical study engaged in by non-member observers and/ or infiltrators and 2. from bona-fide (triply-checked) openly-declared defectors who have publicly and repeatedly renounced and denounced every aspect of the System from which they have fled.

The only good of this whole mess is that it was reported. It could have easily gone unreported. But considering that it was, I expect that this Azad Ali will just quietly disappear from his post with no fanfare of any kind.
Of course, with his track record it's possible he'd try to sue (what's he got to lose?).
It certainly bears keeping an eye on.
Since it was done quietly one can only surmise that they know about his sordid history yet reappointed him anyway.

I have now and then been trying to discover is there are any developments in the case of Swedish politician and darling of the Social Democrat party Abdo Goriya, an Assyrian christian who helped plan the abduction of the misbehaving daughter of a Syrian diplomat. Not likely that many would thank you for "saving" Europe from Islam. The people there can do that in each and every election, if they cared about themselves, their families, their communities, their nations, the general culture of Europe. Obviously most don't care, and some many even hate it, brain-washed as they might well be by dhimmis and other assorted fascists. Europe, as it is today, is finished as an independent culture, a vibrant and self-sustaining culture. Europe is a death-bed.
I remember the incident at Jonestown, Guyana. Those willing and those unwilling died en masse because Jim Jones decided to play Romantic, theatrical god in the jungle. While most drank poisoned Kool-Aid, many others were shot to death while trying to escape. Those who were willing to die would not have thanked those who were not if the latter had managed to save the former. So everyone died. Even those who tried to get away were killed, and there was no hope for those who came to see what they could do to rescue people in advance of it. The rescue was the ostensible reason for the mass die-in. How is it going to be in Europe? Europeans will not thank you for anything that disturbs their slumbers. They'll likely hate you for prolonging their lives.
If it were me, I wouldn't look at Europe as some project that I had to "save" from destruction. I'd look at it as an occupation that pays a lot of money and a job that carries great physical risks in the doing of. I wouldn't want thanks from Europeans. I'd slap their faces as I stole their gold fillings. There is no goodness in saving the world. I'd be happy to kick the suicidal. If they complained about me interrupting their slow deaths, I'd kick them senseless till they shut up. What would they do when Jim Jones comes out to order us all to die? Will they sneak us out to safety? I'd kick them so hard they'd jerk. The living owe these people nothing.
They can stop this madness any time they like. They don't. They won't. I'm not going to do a thing about it. Not my problem. They're just going to die and take a lot of unwilling but timid people with them. Not my problem. I just type a lot.

I read over and again Primo Levi, The Drowned and the Saved. I don't ever come to a different conclusion from rereading it because it's always the same text. No amount of murder will change those who are drowned already. All one can do is save oneself. By doing that, however, there is the unintended benefit of-- perhaps-- saving Europe. But still, like our Modernity itself with all it's goodness, one could only rightly expect to be hated for doing the ultimate good. So, better to rip and tear and make a lot of money at it, assuming anyone cares to.
I mean that most people, like Levi recounts in his book Survival at Auschwitz, that most people entered the death camps and followed the rules to death without a whisper of complaint. Some few, by chance, by luck, by sheer determination and some by sheer goodness, survived. I wouldn't count on anything but myself if I were to act to survive Europe as it is. To save myself I would rely on others wanting to save themselves as well, those few for whom following the rules to death is not a positive notion. But I'm not a European, so it's only me typing.
It is clear that the new UK government is little different to the previous one in its policy of appeasement relating to security and the Islamic jihad threat.

Geoff - this is what I did. I wrote to my MP. If everybody does the same then their servers will be crammed with complaints. We have an website called WriteToThem in the UK, you can contact your MP through it using your postcode.It's an excellent website, and it regularly chases MPs who haven't answered. How does somebody like this, who is unambiguous in supporting the killing of British troops in Afghanistan and Iraq, get a position of power, with the sanction of the government?

Many police forces in the UK are completely Islamified having attended courses on 'treating Muslims with respect and consideration so as not to offend their sensibilities' and told to eradicate Islamophobia which means going for anyone who complains or stands up to Muslim mobsters. These brainwashed police forces are usually led by lefty/liberal women who have been fast tracked to senior posts, not because of their ability or promise but just to make up the numbers of females in the police to conform to Labour's equality laws. They usually have large Muslim communities in their areas and consequently take advice from Muslim 'experts' on how to handle extremism and mob violence which they interpreted as a justified reaction to aggression shown by nasty white 'supremacists'. We don't expect or get any support from these cowards who, it seems, have completely sold out to a Muslim take over.
This article left me in the dark. I can't form an opinion without at least the reaction of the Christan Safety Forum, the Hindu Safety Forum, and the Jewish Safety Forum's representatives to this new development.
