News just broke that the Catholic Church has reversed and and canceled the sale of the convent in Midland Beach to AMS.Amen.

It might be useful to send a letter to the Vatican asking the Pope to send a message to every Catholic Diocese warning them against acceding to any request by Muslim groups to buy or rent premises belonging to the Catholic Church - for obvious reasons.
You could remind the Vatican how Muslims got shirty when the Pope quoted a Medieval ruler who said that Islam was aggressive.
One word of caution - from a "neutral" standpoint, for a crowd to shout someone down, as in the video above, does not look good. The media could have a field day talking about the racist, Islamophobic, tea-party rednecks who didn't allow the polite Muslim gentleman to speak.

I've noticed something strange and disturbing in my community. I live in an orthodox Jewish community. There is a large Muslim community "nearby." I put that in quotes because although the bulk of the Muslims live Eastish of the Jewish community, there are many that live among us as well. There are many mosques, Muslim bookstores, community centers, halal restaurants and grocers and so forth East of us. But recently, I've noticed that almost every time a Jewish business closes up (which is happening extremely frequently lately) some Muslim business moves in and basically sits there empty. Empty restaurants and grocers all over the blocks once populated by Jewish restaurants and businesses. And they're all empty. I walk around the neighborhood a lot and I always look in the windows and am surprised if I see one customer or one table with food on it. Who is giving these people their startup money in such an economy and how can they pay their expenses with no patrons?
BLAH BLAH BLAH, without question it is easier to get water out a turnip then from this character. He was not a good practitioner of taquiya like the promoter of the mega mosque near ground Zero. The guy somehow thought he could bamboozle the crowd with a bunch of BS like a lot of politicians do.
Now that this has been voted down hopefully it reverberates on the Mosque near ground zero.

I would suggest that local Catholics schedule a victory/thanksgiving procession/ prayer walk/ Walk of Witness in the parish and that novenas be held either on the site itself or as near as can be arranged, as soon as possible.
Pray that a fully-accredited bona fide Catholic buyer will come forward and that this parish convent may be revitalised as a focus of Christian worship and witness.
Catholic and other Christian jihadwatchers who approve of this wise decision and live in NYC within easy travelling distance of the St Margaret Mary Parish would be advised to check out service times; pay a friendly visit and pop a donation in the plate.

The Catholic Church has a lower rate of sexual abuse than the Protestant church and most definitely Islam. The reason sexual abuse is such a scandal is because the lame stream media has made it so. Finally! Some GOOD news! More and more people are becoming informed about islam and jihad and are not going to put up with this anymore. Why is it impossible to get a straight answer out of these people?
Green Infidel, "didn't allow the polite Muslim gentleman to speak"? Hardly. I was there - he wouldn't answer a simple question, which required only a yes-or-no reply. Damned if it was "yes", of course, and he just couldn't say "no". (Which did not escape the notice of that astute crowd.)
I must say, as a long-time reader of JihadWatch & Pamela's blog, I was pleased to see them there (& yes, thanked them!). I was also surprised, and pleased, to find a level of genuine understanding among many in the crowd who were "anti" as to the true nature of what they were dealing with.
Kudos to all who worked tirelessly to stop this travesty from happening. Many showed up week after week to protest, and keep the pressure on the parish trustees.
No time to rest on our laurels, though; the Ground Zero mosque proceeds apace.
Kudos to those tough Staten Islanders! It was so nice to see some Eastcoasters show what they are really made of for a change as so many are PC. This is a victory to build and build and build on, and we will. Robert and Pamela were great as usual. What is amazing is that there are still people who have not even gotten to the point of denial because they are not even cognizant of what is going on. Ignorance is not bliss in the long run. The Catholic Church used to be a bulwark of Western civilization before it was sabotaged from within by its highly immoral clergy and the winds of extreme leftist and liberal thought that blew across it gay communes AKA seminaries. I see the Catholic church as a leftist institution par excellence which pays only lip service to conservative principles. It seems that the focus of Catholic charities is the logistical, financial and moral support for the Islamization of the West under the guise of refugee and migrant (legal and illegal) aid.
I just recently found out about this incident and late as my comment may be I think that whoever reads this should know that in the holy quraan Allah orders muslims not to destroy any church, convent, temple or any other place of worship because he is worshipped there.
