PESHAWAR (Pakistan) - PAKISTAN on Tuesday arrested a former Guantanamo Bay inmate, alleging that he had rejoined Taleban insurgents in the country's north-west, security officials said.They said Issa Khan, a homeopathic doctor who previously spent around four years in the notorious US military jail in Cuba, was arrested in Bannu town, about 180 kilometres south of Peshawar.
'We have arrested doctor Issa Khan. He was wanted on different terrorism charges,' Bannu city police chief Sajjad Khan told AFP by telephone.
Pakistani security officials said Issa had been practising homeopathic medicine in northern Afghanistan in 2002 when he was arrested by American forces following the 2001 US-led invasion to bring down the Taleban regime.
They said they believed he rejoined the Taleban after his release from Guantanamo.
A local intelligence official said Issa was considered to be a commander in Tehreek-e-Taleban, the group responsible for some of the worst bombings in Pakistan in recent years. -- AFP

Actually, if he's really practicing homeopathic medicine on his fellow jihadis, maybe the best thing would be to leave him in place where he can do the most damage.
Why be surprised that another of former Gitmo inmate has returned to his jihadic duties. All al Qaeda members are devout pious Muslims and jihad being one of the foremost duties of a pious Muslim, it is no surprise that he will resume his jihad against us infidels.
Now our dumb MSM, politicians, academia, and some experts like Brennan advising our POTUS, this reality of Muslims is very difficult to understand.
And we pay the price for our own folly!!!

I'd suggest turning the entire peace-loving region to glass, but that's a bit over the top....... Interesting how Pakistan throws us a bone now and then. Just like Syria claims to be against terror and keeps a low profile, all the while holding onto the global jihad's WMD (many weapons have been intercepted coming out of Syria). Saudi Arabia claims to be our ally, but smuggles drugs into our country. When are we going to learn that Muslim countries are loosely affiliated with the global jihad on purpose and are just waiting to unite in the cause? We are in a state of global hudna with "moderate" (i.e. "passive") Muslims who are waiting for a political "Mahdi" to step forward.
