Iran's Thug-in-Chief hails new unmanned drone: "the jet, as well as being an ambassador of death for the enemies of humanity, has a main message of peace and friendship."

"Ambassador of death?" The Islamic Republic of Iran already has plenty of those. The next question: what did they reverse-engineer (a la Iran's indigenous fighter jet, appearing in so many ways to be a glorified F-5), or whose short-sighted help did they have in the design process?

"Iran unveils 'ambassador of death' bomber," from MSNBC, August 22:

TEHRAN, Iran -- Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad Sunday inaugurated the country's first domestically built long-range unmanned bomber aircraft, calling it an "ambassador of death" to Iran's enemies.
Speaking to a group of officials, Ahmadinejad said, "The jet, as well as being an ambassador of death for the enemies of humanity, has a main message of peace and friendship."

And death. Can't forget the death.

The goal of the aircraft is to "keep the enemy paralyzed in its bases," he said, adding that the jet is for deterrence and defensive purposes.
The president championed the country's military self-sufficiency program and said it will continue "until the enemies of humanity lose hope of ever attacking the Iranian nation."
The 4-meter-long unmanned plane, dubbed the Karrar, or striker, in Farsi, was inaugurated on the national day for the country's defense industry in a ceremony aired live on state TV.
No details were provided on the craft's capabilities.
In a speech at the unveiling ceremony, Ahmadinejad said Iran should seek the ability to make pre-emptive strikes against a perceived threat, although he said it would never strike first.

Odd to see an unveiling in Iran that doesn't involve someone getting arrested. Anyway, it's not as if manufacturing a grievance as casus belli would be difficult for the conspiracy-minded Islamic Republic.

1. "The jet, as well as being an ambassador of death for the enemies of humanity"

Well, there go all the non-Muslims as they are Islam's "enemies of humanity" - by "humanity" the mental ****** means Muslims.

2. "has a main message of peace and friendship"

Oh, really? Now, just how does an "ambassador of death" possess "peace and friendship."

That last ridiculous lie above is simply to fool the Kuffar.

If that's a message of peace and friendship then the V2 was a bouquet of flowers.

I was specualting only the other day that Iran would use cruise missiles to deliver nuclear warheads. It is certainly a mistake to look only at long range ICBM's as the main problem. One could probably launch something off a normal looking boat.

The bottom line is Iran must not acquire nuclear weapons full stop.

Now I know what all those Iranian physics and engineering graduate students I used to encounter in the '70s have been up to.

The goal of the aircraft is to "keep the enemy paralyzed in its bases," he said

Fat chance of that. Why would a 4 meter drone operated by a spotty Farsi kid on a gaming console "paralyze" or worry a fighter ace from the nation that already took out their reactors once? A 13 foot drone is not going to be able to carry much of a payload, or fast enough to evade fighter planes, and even if it can fly under the traditional radar 13 foot is plenty big enough to be seen by satellite.

I agree...Fighter pilots could use them for target practice...

They are useless anywhere there is an air defense...

"...enemies of humanity..."

Remember, islam is the bizarro world of our world. "Humanity" in islam means the exact opposite of what most decent people consider humanity. "Humanity" to islamists are subhuman savages who worship a child-raping, wife-beating, slave-owning, murderer.

A few other bizarro-world concepts in islam:

honor (what muslim males are forced to defend when muslim women try to think for themselves)

respect (protecting women from execution by enslaving them so they won't eeevilly lure unsuspecting muslim men into immoral thoughts or behavior. Also, how dhimmis should properly behave with anything islamic, especially with regard to images of muhammad.)

peace (what islam envisions after all non-muslims, apostates, and free-thinking women are converted, subjugated or killed)

freedom (total submission to islam)

mercy (as in the 'merciful allah' who longs to spend all eternity in hell torturing innocent souls he deliberately led astray)

compassion (killing kufars without first torturing them)

tolerance (accepting muslims no matter how violent or radical they may be. Accepting that ALL cultures are equal, no matter how primitive or barbaric)

I wonder what are the conditions for "peace and friendship" that need be fulfilled with this Islamic Republic?
It's his usual ramblings, talking about death for the enemies followed immediately by promises of peace and friendship, I suppose for those who choose between the three alternatives of the Quran: submission to Allah, submission to the Muslim or submission to death.

It is obvious to us that he imagines the Ismalic Republic has enemies, and he's not averse to mentioning them by name when a crowd is being whipped up, but this kind of threatening talk is tiresome. It leads to a suspicion that he who talks like a paranoid bully acts like a paranoid bully, and no one in the infidel world can feel happy with the psyche behind. Nor should the average Iranian for that matter be entirely indifferent to what he is dragging them into.

"Ambassador of Death" certainly sounds like something Islam would send to prove it is a religion of peace....

"message of peace and friendship"

Ahmadinjad's idea of peace and firendship is "coming after all Jews have been killed in Israel...then there will be peace and friendship because Israel all be Islamic."

The goals of Islam is the forced conversion of Jews,Christians, Hindus, Budhists, pagans, atheists etc. worldwide. That is the only time there will be peace.

"Anyway, it's not as if manufacturing a grievance as casus belli would be difficult for the conspiracy-minded Islamic Republic."

True, Marisol. Iran has already declared war on Israel by flagrantly threatening to "wipe Israel off of the map", so it stands to reason that Iran considers Israel's very existence a "threat" (islamic REASONING, of course). Add to that Ahmadinejad's ability to fashion nonsense & lies, as demonstrated by him denying The Holocaust -- and voila'! -- war has begun; but of course they will blame Israel due to her very existence.

OT: 2003 Saddam Hussien's central palace in Baghdad - In the main or great room was a domed ceiling adorned with a painting of mohammed ascending into heaven on a white horse. On the wall (behide the throne) was a giant mural "depicting ICBMs surging toward his enemies while he reigned over the greater middle east"

Why does Iran want an unmanned drone? I thought the sure ticket to paradise was for muslims to slay and be slain in allah's cause!

Is Iran straying from their strict interpretation of islam? Is this grounds for removing Mahmoud Imanidiot from office?

Surely this will cause many of the Iranian faithful to be denied their rightful martyrdom!

"In the name of peace and friendship...

I KEEL YOU!"

Excellent list, DMJ.

Word definitions in Islam are, as you point out, not infrequently merely different from the meanings to sane Infidels, but in many cases the exact opposite.

Time to re-post a classic from the archives, for the benefit of all the newer readers we've been acquiring lately.

'Islamic Dictionary for Infidels'.

http://www.jihadwatch.org/2006/07/islamic-dictionary-for-infidels.html

From that article, just to give people an idea, and to encourage them to click on the link and read more:

'"Islam," however, means "submission," not peace.

'"Peace" in Islam equals submission to the will of Allah through his divine and eternal law, sharia.

'The absence of sharia is the absence of peace.

'Bassam Tibi explains:

'"First, both sides should acknowledge candidly that although they might use identical terms these mean different things to each of them.

'The word 'peace,' for example, implies to a Muslim the extension of the Dar al-Islam – or 'House of Islam' – to the entire world," explained Tibi.' Etc.

I've never seen a biplane with a jet engine.

notoshariah: "If that's a message of peace and friendship then the V2 was a bouquet of flowers."

I saw a photo today, of his mightiness Ahmadinejad proudly presenting his "bomb-jet". To my delight the contraption was painted gold, and covered in flowers!

There is not much doubt that Ahmadinejad is insane, plain stupid or both. What does make me wonder though is how many mullahs agree with his rantings. This is the scary part. A room full of nut-cases willing to go on the rampage and destroy innumerable human lives while the west keep on trying to find ways to have a chat about their ambitions. For goodness sake, their thinking is not even close to being rational.
These guys are not taking their medication and will keep on drumming up hate and destruction if not reigned in.
They believe their own rhetoric - this is really scary! When is someone going to take the firm stance and call a nut a nut and show these nuts up on the world stage. Be direct, call it like it is and stop tip-toeing around trying not to hurt their feelings and fear some kind of retaliation for speaking the truth.
Iran's nut-case brigade are winning the war thus far. No one has stood up to them and told them to pull their heads in and for them to stop threatening annihilation of Israel.
Threatening to kill is a crime in most countries, but obviously not in the world arena; and obviously not if you are too weak to take a stance against such rantings.
Our silence is perceived as a weakness and just encourages these nutters to take greater liberties and pursue more destructive methods of killing us.

How long will the US or Israel wait to react to Iran's many many threats. This "Ambassador of death" drone it just one more engineering achievement as they acquire more and more technical skill (as referred to by Eastview). Any Obama strategy has fallen apart completely unless one chooses to believe that Obama wants Iran to win. Israel probably is going to wait until a better climate exists with the US before they do anything. Right now, I think that Israel would only do something if their population began to leave Israel in large numbers or if they were attacked. The ball seems to be totally in Iran's court. They now have a green light and can do pretty much whatever they want to do and get away with it.

And I thought Barack Obama was an embarrassment. It's no wonder the Greens are willing to face a hail of lead to get rid of that fruitcake...

I caught that quotable from Ahmadinejad too and had the same immediate reaction to its double-speak content. It was right out of Orwell's '1984'... War is Peace.

Isn't it possible that he's none of the above (insane, stupid or both) and simply a true believer, a devout Shiite nationalist caught up in the global cauldron of Islamic resurgence?

It is because he is a true believer - or faking it convincingly - that he performs in a manner that people here describe as insane and stupid.

Of course, he could be in it for the power and the free rein it gives him to pour out legitimate hatred.
