Pamela Geller on Ground Zero mosque bus ads on Fox and Friends

Pamela Geller and Nicole Neroulias, a New York Times writer (and that tells you something about both Neroulias and the Times), speak about our bus ads protesting the Islamic supremacist mega-mosque at Ground Zero on Fox and Friends.

Nicole is not a worthy opponent...If people like her are going to defend Islam, she has to know something about it..

But when the kufr with reasonable intelligence, and who is not mentally ill find that something, they realize there is nothing there to defend...PC paralyzed liberal types can't comprehend...and so they lie to cover their basic ignorance...

The issue is not how many feet away from Ground Zero or religious freedom.

That muslims simply don't care for the feelings of victims is chilling. In addition to that they keep fooling the gullible of this world that they face persecution. How much more silly can it get ? All the mosques in this world has only made them divide the people into Infidels & muslims. I shudder to even imagine what impact an alleged " multicultural mosque " can have. It will lead to more getting dhimmified thanks to their assiduous dissembling tactics & lavish offerings of food.

The sheer arrogance of Nicole betrays the mindset of mosque supporters. I never knew there were so many dhimmis in America.Spawned by Obama.

America needs a Rudolph "Rudy" Giuliani.

The phrase Islamic supremacist needs to be replaced with something that rolls off the tongue better. It sounds strange and even though I listen and read about this all the time, that phrase sets my eyes to glazing.

Muslim supremacist?. Or something else.

From post above...I never knew there were so many dhimmis in America.Spawned by Obama.

Not just dhimmi's...Since Rasool Obama was elected, it is as though the gates to foolishness were unlocked, swung wide open, and every liberal, leftist, progressive, communist, Marxist, and Mahoundian and dhimmi with a wacky idea has escaped, and are leaving slime trails wherever they go...
Hopefully Americans will clean up some of this mess at the polls in Nov...That's if there are any poles in November...

That's no religion reporter. That's a secular atheist. I know 'em when I see 'em.

She was probably wanting to be a nun and thinks all religions are personal and not political. I almost gagged when she said Cordoba was a time of harmony. She must not have read much in the way of personal quotes from that time.

What part of "Spain was ""conquered"" did she miss? Doesn't she know anything about sharia? And what it means for the conquered people?

"time of harmony."

Sure, harmony is easily arrived when the conquerers have all those that would oppose them dead and the survivors thoroughly cowed.

The indefatigable Geller continues to get the message out. The talking points are becoming ever crisper and more concise. And I for one sincerely thank her for it.

It was unfortunate that at the end of the segment Ms. Neroulias was able to slide the old chestnut of Cordoba being a "time of harmony" into the discussion, following it with a smarmy, superior smile. Pamela's objections to this statement were difficult to catch, so we're left with the image of Neroulias's bland, smug amile. But this is the product that Ms. Neroulias is selling after all: self-satisfied superiority. And I am concerned that such a product is the drug of choice for all too many these days.

It is a perverse trait of human nature that smugness can at times be more compelling than the plain truth.

Yes, time of harmony..."but, but, but, that's what they told me in my Comparative Religion class! It was on the test! I got that one right, so it must be true! And I did my thesis on the emergence of social justice in faith traditions in the United States! I'm an expert!"

@Borg

When referencing this mosque, I like to think of it as the "Victory Dance Mosque". They are proposing a dance on the graves of about 3000 people who made the mistake of going to work, or boarding planes on a certain day.

I also like "Monster Mosque", coined by someone else.

How can Ms. Neroulias expect to be taken seriously in her claim that the building is not at Ground Zero? It was damaged in the attack, for Pete's sake! On the other hand, she didn't look like she wanted to be the one to take the story on. The first thing I noticed was that she was looking a little green around the gills. Maybe she knows she's out of her depth, on the subject.

I say: "Give Pamela a decent target". Neroulias isn't even a speed bag. Hell, she's not even a speed bump.

Pamela, You go, girl!

Even assuming Islamic Spain was relatively tolerant 500 years ago, what does that say about today? Germany was relatively tolerant in the 1920s.

Nicole Neroulias said that the reference to Cordoba was at a time when " Muslims, Jews, and Christians, lived in harmony ".

She defended the MTAs position about not showing the plane, towers, and smoke. As if it never happened ( incidentally, if these were anti cigarette smoking ads, the MTA would have had no issues about showing smoke ).

I wonder if Nicole Neroulias has ever heard of the term "dhimmi" ? Probably not. I couldn't help but notice the bored and listless expression on her face, as the debate rolled on, as if this were a topic not even worth talking about.

It's what I expect from a lefty New York Times columnist.

But, as usual, Pam Geller did a marvelous job, making the case against the mosque. Too bad that Pam had to go so far as to say that the mosque site is six hundred feet away from ground zero.

When it becomes necessary to go that far into detail to make a point, it seems to me that people like Nicole Neroulias, are simply not interested in hearing intelligent counter arguments.

Has Ms. Neroulias even read the Qur'an? Just wondering.

Apparently, exquisitely sensitive Nicole is the 1st confirmed case of SOIA Derangement Syndrome. Congratulations!

I watched it for a second time.

It appears that the NYT employs only Walter Duranty types, or at least people who hate America, blame America for all the world's ills etc., and she, Neroulias, is one of them.

Indeed, Neroulias was able to slide the old chestnut of Cordoba being a "time of harmony" into the discussion, with a smug, self-satisfied expression, which is supposed to mean "once upon a time Muslims Jews & Christians all lived peacefully together until the big bad United States came on the scene and f*kced things up for all the good people of the world".

People like Neroulias appear to be mass-produced, they are the result of higher education in America's PC universities, where creatures like Harvard professor Henry Louis Gates Jr, Ward Churchill, Rashid Khalidi and Marxist, Stalinist blockheads (like those Hussein Obama was looking for in younger years) indoctrinate and confuse America's dysfunctional youth.

A sad state of affairs, a dangerous, spooky situation.

Can this be reversed?

I thought Pam did fine. She kept her cool and allowed her interlocutor time to make her points.

Meanwhile, I see her opponent has lapped up the false "multicultural Andalusia" narrative, lock, stock and barrel. No wonder she's defending the mega-mosque...she doesn't have a clue.

Neroulias seems to be another garden-variety leftist who cannot comprehend that she is defending an ideology which would destroy the very freedoms she enjoys if only this ideology were given the chance. Dumb in that special kind of way that higher education does such a masterful job of generating.

It is perhaps a small point in all this, but I am rather tired of references to the proposed triumphal mosque being built "near Ground Zero" or "a few blocks from Ground Zero".

The fact is, Iman Rauf was able to pick up the Burlington Coat Factory building on the cheap—or, as his wife Daisy Khan put it, the "building came to them"—because *the landing gear of one of the hijacked planes came crashing through the roof*.

The building was rendered condemned because it was so heavily damaged by the 9/11 hijackers. The only reason this is not directly part of the terrible graveyard of Ground Zero is that the attack occurred so early in the day—the Burlington Coat Factory store was not open for business yet, and the staff there were in the basement, gathering merchandise to bring up to the floor.

If the main store had been full of shoppers and employees—as it would have been just a few hours later—the terrible toll of 9/11 would likely have been even higher than it was. This building is not *"near" Ground Zero*—it is *part of Ground Zero*.

Excellent point, gravenimage. Hadn't thought of it the way you put it, but you're right. I hope your point of view is taken up by many who oppose the building of this in-your-face mega-mosque.

GoV has a post about Rauf's writings - DaWa From The Rubble of 9/11. (Written in Malay.) That sounds like it is intentional to use the Ground Zero area. Can it mean anything else? Political Rubble? If so then he is intentionally using the aftermath of the attacks. Just as bad.

duh_swami, why do you call Barack Hussein Obama Rasool Obama?

I agree. She did fine.

Borg -

Do you have a link for the "GoV" reference?

Whenever I hear one of these twits whimper about Cordoba, or how once upon a time all people Christians, Jews, Hindus, Buddhists and animists lived in peace and harmony with the Muslim world, I think of the time some southerners defended black slavery in the south. They said that the slaves were happy and contented to live in such a system. They got food, roof over their heads and they could worship as they liked. A small matter of them being slaves and second class noncitizens didn't seem to enter into their minds. No thanks Nicole, you can go live as a slave to muslims, I and others won't.

It's Insult Architecture, pure and simple.

Let's try a thought experiment...

If the central Ground Zero area was put up for auction with it being made clear that it could be used for construction of religious buildings does anyone doubt that somewhere in the world a Muslim billionaire would stump up for a Mosque?

Wow, I'm impressed by Pamela's performance this time, she did much better than last time I saw her, in terms of maintaining composure and not interrupting so much. Sweet.

Pamela Geller and her love for Ayn Rand makes a poor bedfellow for conservatives who are against Islamic Violence and Abortion Murders - Pamela love of that horrible woman makes me shy away from her - just look at what Ayn Rand wrote - surely Pamela agrees with her - as in everything -- Ayn Rand said, just so you can see that there is a strong calling from her to believe the same insanity -
" . . . Observe that by ascribing rights to the unborn, i.e., the nonliving, the anti-abortionists obliterate the rights of the living: the right of young people to set the course of their own lives. The task of raising a child is a tremendous, lifelong responsibility, which no one should undertake unwittingly or unwillingly. Procreation is not a duty: human beings are not stock-farm animals. For conscientious persons, an unwanted pregnancy is a disaster; to oppose its termination is to advocate sacrifice, not for the sake of anyone’s benefit, but for the sake of misery qua misery, for the sake of forbidding happiness and fulfillment to living human beings." NO, NO, I'll have none of murdering little innocent babies in cold blood - Ayn Rand had the heart of a murderer - same as any Islamic!
