A FATHER and son from North Wales have been arrested on explosives charges.The two Asian men were arrested in separate raids in a joint operation by the Metropolitan and North Wales police forces early Friday morning.
The pair, aged 52 and 21, were then driven to a central London police station where they were yesterday being quizzed.
The younger man was arrested at 6am at Ael-y-Garth, in the Twt Hill area of Caernarfon, Gwynedd, while the older man - whom eyewitnesses identified as his father - was arrested in nearby Hampton Road.
Both are being held under section four of the Explosives Act - which makes it illegal to make or possess explosives under suspicious circumstances.
North Wales police said detectives and forensic officers were carrying out a "detailed search" of the Ael-y-Garth house. It is understood that one of the properties belonged to the father and the other belonged to his ex-wife, where his son was staying....

In the USA asians are catogorized as the orientals like chinese, Japs, Thais, etc. Then there are the rest Indians are Indians, Porkies are Porkies, Russians as Russians and so on.

And judging from the opinion polls - that other story we've just discussed, that one where the pollsters found that *75%* of non-Muslim Britons believe that Islam has had a 'negative impact' in Britain - a *lot* of people in Britain, too, are saying, 'that just ain't right'.
That great bronze bell that hangs in the hidden cave in Craig-y-Dinas, to ring and wake Arthur and his knights when the Island of the Mighty is in terrible danger, is beginning to tremble, and swing, and ring.
Here is the story, as given in Gwyn Jones' "Welsh Legends and Folktales" (1955; 1956), from the third section 'Tales Old and New': 'Where Arthur Sleeps'.
In this story a Wise Man and a Welshman enter a cave in Craig-y-Dinas in Wales.
There they see, "Hanging from the passage roof... a bronze bell the size of a beehive, with a clanger as long as your arm, and the Wise Man begged the Welshman on no account to touch it, for if he did, disaster would surely follow.
'Soon they reached the main cave...it was filled with warriors in bright armour and asleep on the floor. There was an outer ring of a thousand men, and an inner ring of a hundred, their heads to the wall and their feet to the centre, each with sword, shield, battle-axe and spear; and outermost of all lay their horses...And in the middle of them all lay a king and emperor at rest, as they knew by the splendour of his array and the jewelled crown beneath his hand and the awe and majesty of his person."
A little later on in the tale, "Who are these warriors?' asked the Welshman. 'And who is their sleeping king?
'"The King is Arthur, and those that surround him are the men of the Island of the Mighty.
'They sleep with their steeds and their arms
'because a day will come when land and sky shall cower at the clamour of a host,
'and the bell will tremble and ring,
'and then those warriors will ride out with Arthur at their head, and drive their foes headlong into the sea, and there shall be justice and peace among men for as long as the world endures.'" (Justice and peace, of course, as we free non-Muslims account them).
The English Defence League, the March for England, the 'Stop the Islamification of England'...and the less well known Scottish Defence League and Welsh Defence League; they are all standing up, rising and finding their voices, gathering strength and numbers. *That* is the awakening, I would say, not only of Arthur but of Alfred.

The elder "asian" man is named as Ali Akbar Khan (which doesn't sound Japanese or Siberian to me). He is currently detained, not on explosives or terrorism charges but under a drugs charge - police are reported to have found about 8000 dollars worth of heroin in his home. One of the parcel bombs was discovered after it had arrived at the headquarters building of the British Secret Intelligence Service (MI6).
