Looking at El Gamel's face there makes me want to jump into the ring and serve him up with an even-stevenzzz. Guess I'll have to join the line and wait my turn. . . Shucks.

I suspect that this Hisham Elzanaty is the bigger fish.

When researching "Elzanaty" keep in mind that his name is likely actually "Zanaty" with an "El" before it (like El-Gamal).

"Zanaty" seems to be a rather common name. One wonders, are all people with that name Muslims? Or could some be Middle Eastern Christians (or assorted non-Muslims) as well?

In Googling "zanaty" I found this Alabama attorney, for example, one "Timothy Harper Zanaty" whose bio claims he was even born in Birmingham, Alabama, to a judge and his wife. So was the judge father of "Timothy Harper Zanaty" a Muslim? One of those famously supposedly "lax" Muslims we assume must exist? Perhaps the judge father himself was a Middle Eastern Christian who fled some Islamic hell-hole in his youth to immigrate to the U.S.A.? Or perhaps his father did?

This Gamal guy is between a rock and a hard place; and rightly so. Now his return to Islam requires him to pay up and thus the $100 million project.

Point to ponder: If his father is so rich why was he slumming as a waiter in the dumps of Manhattan? Could he have been a terrorist cell worker. These guys work as regular minial laborers but are the contact persons for the terrorists; money, documents, addresses to layover..etc.
