“We have to build everywhere”: Hamas joins Hamas-linked CAIR in crowing over Ground Zero mega-mosque

A victory mosque — and more are to come: “We have to build everywhere.” Meanwhile, CAIR’s chest-thumping over Obama’s blessing on the mosque is here. “Hamas nod for gz mosque: Terror group’s leader: ‘Have to build it,'” by S.A. Miller and Tom Topousis in the New York Post, August 16 (thanks to all who sent this in):

A leader of the Hamas terror group yesterday jumped into the emotional debate on the plan to construct a mosque near Ground Zero — insisting Muslims “have to build” it there.

“We have to build everywhere,” said Mahmoud al-Zahar, a co-founder of Hamas and the organization’s chief on the Gaza Strip.

“In every area we have, [as] Muslim[s], we have to pray, and this mosque is the only site of prayer,” he said on “Aaron Klein Investigative Radio” on WABC.

“We have to build the mosque, as you are allowed to build the church and Israelis are building their holy places.”

Hamas, he added, “is representing the vast majority of the Arabic and Islamic world — especially the Islamic side.”…

A couple other thing in the Post article are of interest. First:

Hamas co-founder al-Zahar: “First of all, we have to address that we are different as people, as a nation, totally different,” he said.
“We already are living under the tradition of Islam.
“Islam is controlling every source of our life as regard to marriage, divorce, our commercial relationships,” Zahar said.

No divided loyalties here! But is it enough? And secondly:

.. a London-based Arabic-language newspaper that interviewed Abdul Rauf reported that he said he would also collect money from Muslim and Arab nations around the world — raising the possibility that the American government is helping him build contacts in oil-rich states.

wherever Muslims gain the upper hand…Christians and other non-Muslim religions are not allowed to build their places for prayer…

  3. says

Muslims always build a mosque at the site of their victory over Kuffars. The world is littered with such places.

    1. Muslims do this to indicate the superiority of Islam over other religions

    2. To insult the infidels, and rub their noses in their defeat.

    3. To claim that land which sites a mosque, and its surroundings, as part of dar ul Islam.

There are other reasons, but the above are the main ones.

So we have the Cathedral of St Sophia, once turned into a mosque, but due to the forced secularism of Turkey in the past, is now a museum. Cordoba, alHambra are other examples. Then there is the Babri mosque in India, for which such a big fuss was made when Hindus claimed that the mosque was built over a Hindu temple. Hindus were vilified for being intolerant, when in fact, the reverse was true. Even the destruction of the Buddhas in Afghanistan, were an insult to Buddhism, even though Islam wiped out Buddhism from that country. For Muslims, the opportunity to insult other religions, and by extension, raise the superiority of Islam, is an overriding command.

We now know of the Muslim propensity for deliberately being offensive to other faiths, as that is part of the MO of Islam. There is no point in Muslims denying it, as that is the case everywhere.

Given this, I believe that all mosques are really in ‘your face insults’ to non-Muslims, i.e., people of other faiths, or no religious faith. They should all be treated as such, rather then as places of worship of allah.

  4. says

    continued:
In this light, why was there such outrage in the Muslim world when Switzerland did not allow the building of minarets around a mosque.

Why such an outrage, when the mosque, the centre of worship was not affected, and just the pointy minarets were?

To Muslims, the ban on minarets, meant two things

    1. That the mosque was being allowed as a charitable dispensation at the discretion of the Infidel authority, i.e., the mosque without the minarets was really a castrated mosque – a symbol of subservience to the Infidel, then one of victory.

    2. A Swiss mosque sans minarets, is viewed by Muslims, as a symbol of Infidel insult to Muslims.

The above are a violation of the 3 points in my previous post, of what a mosque should be, and thus deeply offensive to all Muslims. It is the reason why Muslims are fighting to overturn the ban on minarets in Switzerland.

That’s the problem with treating mahoundianism as a “religion”… A religion this sick form of inbred bedouin savage fascism ain’t, but it gets treated that way just because, unlike communist, fascist and nazi tyrants, mahound decided to refer to its (not his) murderous actions and those of its followers as having something to do with “prophethood.” Just as mahoundian “prayers”, as Hugh has astutely pointed out, have nothing spiritual about it, but are just an act of aggression which absolutely doesn’t differ from a Nuremberg rally.

This has got to change, and this nonsense has got to stop. Had Hitler and nazism been given the respect that CAIR, Hamas, mahoundians and mahoundianism are given because of PC/MC nonsense, German would be the only official language in Europe and Russia, not to mention that the black swastika in the white circle over a red background would be its flag. Just as manhoundian envision an arabic- and turkish-speaking Europe under the crescent and the star, the bedouin equivalent of the nazi flag.

After being a mega mosque, it became a “community center”. (is that with or without the community organizer Hussein Obama?)

Now its just a “Muslim center”, Abdul Rauf called it an “Islamic YMCA”, you see, it will have only a tiny tiny mosque in it, and Jerrold Nadler claims “”We were not attacked by all Muslims. And there were Muslims who were killed there.”

Yep. We were not attacked by all Japanese in Pearl Harbor either. All Germans were not Nazis. But who were the Muslims who were killed on GZ?

Hamas – Thanks! you can always be relied upon – whether it’s homicidal bunnies on kids TV, indicating that Islam can only enter into max 10 year truces with infidels or, now, showing that you want a mosque slap bang in the middle of Ground Zero.

DP111 – interesting obvservations. I think there is no doubt that these conqueror Mosques were part of a pattern of Insult Architecture, as the Ground Zero Mosque is intended to be. Whether one can extend that observation to all Mosques is interesting. Certainly the obsession with replicating minaret archtitecture might suggest so.

I noticed a Turkish Mosque in London yesterday equppied with powerful loudspeakers in the Minarets as in Islamic countries. As far as I know planning and noise pollution laws in the UK still do not allow minarets to be used for loudspeaker calls to prayer, but one wonders why then they should put in these loudspeakers…it’s a kind of sympbol of aggressive intent is it not? – an indication that Islam is never goign to accommodate itself to its cultural surroundings.

Ah, “sacred” is such a magic word.
The “sacred Aztec precinct was the site” where hundreds of thousand of people had over ages their hearts ripped from their chest and burned as offering for the Aztec’s Allah.
No wonder so many natives joined the Spaniards against the hated religion. The new order was far from the christian ideal, but infinitely more human than the old one.
Not so with the islamic conquest where far more advanced and benevolent civilizations were sadistically slaughtered and replaced by the monstrosity and idiocy of izzlum.

May the horror of the islamic conquest of India and Persia testify to the evil of islam. And may the pathetic social cultural and economic condition of izlumic states testify to Izlum’s bottomless stupidity.

    Hi Yusef YK!

You still haven’t responded to David Hume’s question that I posted a day or so ago. Not that you have to. But your silence would indicate that you’re unable to come up with an adequate response.

“Which is more likely — that a man should be used as a transmitter by God to deliver some already existing revelations, or that he should utter some already existing revelations and believe himself to be, or claim to be, ordered by God to do so?”

David Hume. Scottish philosopher (1711 – 1776 AD).

C’mon. You know deep down Islam makes no sense.

  13. says

The issue of “religious freedom” is a red herring with regard to the GZ mosque, since the situation with Islam is analagous to that of State Shinto and Bushido in pre-WWII Japan in which Shinto was the official state religion of Japan. It should be pounded home every time the subject comes up that Islam is a state religion that requires the subjugation, through political means, of all other religions to it. The “state” may be Saudi Arabia, Iran, or any other nation under Sharia law. However, to Muslims the state is also the Ummah, the “Community of Believers”.

Though it is far too late to feel sorry and possibly a shocking revelation for the progressive liberals on the left who call themselves “American” to see for themselves, B. When Israel has friends like you, there is no need for enemies.

Some cheerful quotes from Hamas (The Islamic Resistance Movement) charter:

    http://avalon.law.yale.edu/20th_century/hamas.asp

The Slogan of the Islamic Resistance Movement:

“Allah is its target, the Prophet is its model, the Koran its constitution: Jihad is its path and death for the sake of Allah is the loftiest of its wishes.”
    (Article 8)

“Israel will exist and will continue to exist until Islam will obliterate it, just as it obliterated others before it” (The Martyr, Imam Hassan al-Banna, of blessed memory).”
    (Introductory passages)

Hamas is the local chapter of the Muslim Brotherhood:

“The Islamic Resistance Movement is one of the wings of Moslem Brotherhood in Palestine. Moslem Brotherhood Movement is a universal organization which constitutes the largest Islamic movement in modern times. It is characterised by its deep understanding, accurate comprehension and its complete embrace of all Islamic concepts of all aspects of life, culture, creed, politics, economics, education, society, justice and judgement, the spreading of Islam, education, art, information, science of the occult and conversion to Islam.”
    (Article 2)

The goal: an Islamic state instead of Israel and the PA:

“The Islamic Resistance Movement is a distinguished Palestinian movement, whose allegiance is to Allah, and whose way of life is Islam. It strives to raise the banner of Allah over every inch of Palestine, for under the wing of Islam followers of all religions can coexist in security and safety where their lives, possessions and rights are concerned.”
    (Article 6)

    Except…

“The Prophet, Allah bless him and grant him salvation, has said:

“The Day of Judgement will not come about until Moslems fight the Jews (killing the Jews), when the Jew will hide behind stones and trees. The stones and trees will say O Moslems, O Abdulla, there is a Jew behind me, come and kill him. Only the Gharkad tree, (evidently a certain kind of tree) would not do that because it is one of the trees of the Jews.” (related by al-Bukhari and Moslem).”

    (Article 7)

    Bibliography and sources of inspiration:

“The Zionist plan is limitless. After Palestine, the Zionists aspire to expand from the Nile to the Euphrates. When they will have digested the region they overtook, they will aspire to further expansion, and so on. Their plan is embodied in the “Protocols of the Elders of Zion”, and their present conduct is the best proof of what we are saying.”
    (Article 32)

More on the global Jewish conspiracy for world domination:

“For a long time, the enemies have been planning, skillfully and with precision, for the achievement of what they have attained. They took into consideration the causes affecting the current of events. They strived to amass great and substantive material wealth which they devoted to the realisation of their dream. With their money, they took control of the world media, news agencies, the press, publishing houses, broadcasting stations, and others. With their money they stirred revolutions in various parts of the world with the purpose of achieving their interests and reaping the fruit therein. They were behind the French Revolution, the Communist revolution and most of the revolutions we heard and hear about, here and there. With their money they formed secret societies, such as Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, the Lions and others in different parts of the world for the purpose of sabotaging societies and achieving Zionist interests. With their money they were able to control imperialistic countries and instigate them to colonize many countries in order to enable them to exploit their resources and spread corruption there.

You may speak as much as you want about regional and world wars. They were behind World War I, when they were able to destroy the Islamic Caliphate, making financial gains and controlling resources. They obtained the Balfour Declaration, formed the League of Nations through which they could rule the world. They were behind World War II, through which they made huge financial gains by trading in armaments, and paved the way for the establishment of their state. It was they who instigated the replacement of the League of Nations with the United Nations and the Security Council to enable them to rule the world through them. There is no war going on anywhere, without having their finger in it.”
    (Article 22)

The importance of women and their education:

“Woman in the home of the fighting family, whether she is a mother or a sister, plays the most important role in looking after the family, rearing the children and embuing them with moral values and thoughts derived from Islam. She has to teach them to perform the religious duties in preparation for the role of fighting awaiting them. That is why it is necessary to pay great attention to schools and the curriculum followed in educating Moslem girls, so that they would grow up to be good mothers, aware of their role in the battle of liberation.”
    (Article 18)

Feminism is apparently a Zionist conspiracy:

“The Moslem woman has a role no less important than that of the moslem man in the battle of liberation. She is the maker of men. Her role in guiding and educating the new generations is great. The enemies have realised the importance of her role. They consider that if they are able to direct and bring her up they way they wish, far from Islam, they would have won the battle. That is why you find them giving these attempts constant attention through information campaigns, films, and the school curriculum, using for that purpose their lackeys who are infiltrated through Zionist organizations under various names and shapes, such as Freemasons, Rotary Clubs, espionage groups and others, which are all nothing more than cells of subversion and saboteurs.
    (Article 17)

And while the Zionists are busy with the women the Crusaders take care of the minds:

“It is important that basic changes be made in the school curriculum, to cleanse it of the traces of ideological invasion that affected it as a result of the orientalists and missionaries who infiltrated the region following the defeat of the Crusaders at the hands of Salah el-Din (Saladin). The Crusaders realised that it was impossible to defeat the Moslems without first having ideological invasion pave the way by upsetting their thoughts, disfiguring their heritage and violating their ideals. Only then could they invade with soldiers. This, in its turn, paved the way for the imperialistic invasion that made Allenby declare on entering Jerusalem: “Only now have the Crusades ended.” ”
    (Article 15)

    Geopolitical doctrine:

“The imperialistic forces in the Capitalist West and Communist East, support the enemy with all their might, in money and in men. These forces take turns in doing that. The day Islam appears, the forces of infidelity would unite to challenge it, for the infidels are of one nation.”
    (Article 22)

Islamic international law and the status of Palestine according to it (short version: any land the Muslims conquered by force belongs to the Muslims until Judgement Day):

“The Islamic Resistance Movement believes that the land of Palestine is an Islamic Waqf consecrated for future Moslem generations until Judgement Day. It, or any part of it, should not be squandered: it, or any part of it, should not be given up. Neither a single Arab country nor all Arab countries, neither any king or president, nor all the kings and presidents, neither any organization nor all of them, be they Palestinian or Arab, possess the right to do that. Palestine is an Islamic Waqf land consecrated for Moslem generations until Judgement Day. This being so, who could claim to have the right to represent Moslem generations till Judgement Day?

This is the law governing the land of Palestine in the Islamic Sharia (law) and the same goes for any land the Moslems have conquered by force, because during the times of (Islamic) conquests, the Moslems consecrated these lands to Moslem generations till the Day of Judgement.”
    (Article 11)

Newt on FOX just said the GZ Mosque issue is one of “Supremacy” by radical Islamists who refuse to go anywhere else because they are trying to make a triumphal point.

    He’s absolutely correct.

But I don’t think I’ve heard him go that “deep” into analysis or use such terms before? “Islamic Supremacism” is not your everyday, generic, Joe Public kinda term — yet.

(If he had said “taqiyya” I KNOW I would have fallen over!)

Anyway, maybe he HAS been reading JW lately as someone suggested the other day, or at least doing some homework?

  17. says

There’s a Shia mega mosque now being built in Copenhagen, Denmark, complete with a blue dome and minarets. Funds derive from Iran as does the ideology and the intimidation of those who oppose the building, be they Danes or Iranians.
There have been complaints concerning noise pollution, but they were dealt with in a robust manner by authorities: it is like church bells generally accepted by the community.

Again we see that Islam demands and is being conceded what Islam wouldn’t dream of conceding to the infidel in a Muslim country.

  18. says

What are the Muslims going to do when Barack Obama is no longer in power?
What will they do in this vacuum that will be filled with GOP and Tea Party activists and leaders?
It is hoped that America will produce the leader of the GOP that will have the gonads to deal with the prolems that have been createdd by this administration.
That is why all GOP members must chose with their hearts this time and not just look for a leader by their popularity and or the size of their pocketbooks.

    Hussein is a full-blown Muslim.

I’m sure everyone can see that now.

Provide me one instance in which he has mentioned either Christianity or Jesus.

  20. says

The U.S. Ikhwan is in full support of Hussein as well.

The Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) issued the following statement:

“Friday evening, at an iftar hosted at the White House, President Obama issued a clear statement that the rights of Muslims to practice their religion in America must be protected. President Obama spoke for the first time on the controversy surrounding the construction of “Cordoba House,” a proposed mosque and Islamic Center in New York City, New York. Some are calling this one of the most courageous acts taken by a president lately. …More than 100 Muslim leaders from around the world joined President Obama at Friday’s White House iftar, including ISNA President Dr. Ingrid Mattson and ISNA Vice President Imam Mohamed Magid. Muslim diplomats from around the world, political, religious, and community leaders were also in attendance at the dinner.ISNA President Dr. Ingrid Mattson states, “ISNA thanks the President for his strong and articulate support of the Muslim community and our rights here tonight. It was made clear that the right to religious freedom for all, including Muslim Americans, is supported by our President”…”ISNA is proud of the positive leadership shown by President Obama and Mayor Michael Bloomberg. There is more work to be done to protect the civil rights of Muslim Americans, and ISNA hopes elected officials across the country will join the President and Mayor to bravely protect those rights as well,” said Dr. Mattson.

So my question is this; What about the rights of the non-believers? Where are our rights going but “down the garbage shute of history”.

  21. says

With a Hamas blessing, that should make everyone feel so, so much better. Obama stands with CAIR, Hamas, Hamas stands with Obama and CAIR and CAIR stands with Hamas and Obama. Quite the trio, all on the same page.

Imagine that 15 story monstrosity standing near the once smoking hole before there’s even a new tower in it. Incredible. Thanks to Hamas, that mosque is now a fully blessed monument to Jew hatred standing in the heart of the once great nation called the USA.

Richard Ferbandez: “All bending over backward tells moderate Muslims is that the American political elite will abandon everything ” even Ground Zero ” to the radicals. It tells the Muslim world that the American elite, from cowardice or moral vanity will sell out anyone. And that doesn’t breed Muslim respect; it breeds universal contempt. Then they will turn to each other and say, ‘if you were thinking of fighting by America’s side, don’t’. With a guy like Obama as your shield, who needs a sword?”

  22. says

    We have to build everywhere.

Then let’s get going on a victory mosque in Oklahoma City. Saddam Hussein was behind that great victory, and it’s high time it be celebrated, prefereably right next door to the Murrah Federal Building.

It’s time that the proud Moslems there come out of the closet on what was done there, and celebrate that great moment out in the open, in the sunlight.

    *** 4:34 ***

It was inevitable that the gubmint’s unexplained decision to load the country up on Moslems would drag the body politic and even the culture downward, to their level.

  23. says

  24. says

What is so difficult to understand about this?

The Establishment Clause of the First Amendment to the US Constitution states that “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion.”

A central, indeed the central precept of Islam is that it must turn all efforts towards supplanting non-Islamic systems, including the US Constitution, with shariah.

Therefore, the objectives of Islam contravene the Establishment Clause of the First Amendment of the US Constitution and pursuit of the central precept of Islam through any means is unconstitutional and in defiance of the American people as represented by Congress.

Have I missed something in this syllogism?

To put it another way, the President recently teaches us that Moslems have the right to worship exactly as Christians, Jews and others do in this country. I agree with the President. So long as Moslems worship exactly as Christian, Jews and others do in this country, keeping their beliefs within the sphere of personal confession and renouncing, perpetually and demonstrably, jihad and subversion of this country, they have the protection of the First Amendment.

  25. says

    To all my fellow Americans,

What America needs, at this time in her history, are elected representatives, unlike Obama and the majority of Congress and the Senate, who have the moral courage, integrity, knowledge of the truth about Islam, and the backbone to address the Islamic threat America faces today. We are at war with Islam, it is advancing around the world, including a campaign of stealth jihad right here in America. The building of more mosques, especially the Victory Mosque at ground zero, must be halted and reversed. We must educate ourselves about the “truth” of Islam, and not believe the propaganda spewing out of the mainstream media.

Knowledge is power, but unfortunately most Americans are still ignorant about Islam and believe that it is “a religion of peace,” that there are “moderate” Muslims, and that this “peaceful religion” has been hijacked, twisted, and distorted by Islamic radicals within, none of which are true.

There is one such politician who understands the threat Islam poses to America and he is running for U.S. Congress 2010. His name is Vijay Kumar, Republican Candidate, 5th Congressional District, Tennessee. Among his many essays that are posted on his website, there are two in particular that every American should read: 1. Universal Jihad: Radical Islam’s Worldwide War on Liberal Democracies 2. The Muslim Mosque: A State Within A State.

I personally will not stand for 1 more Tribute To Mahound, AKA, Muslim Intelligence Center(oxymoron),AKA Cultural Center, AKA Bomb Factory, AKA Indoctrination Center, AKA Den of Filth, AKA MOSQUE, in my community. And I hope that everyone else stands up in their own community or were it is needed when defending our country and citizens from the evil that is Islam.

I’m tired of people trying to make me twist my beliefs because the Moooooooooooooooooosliiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiims(`a la Michael Savage)have a different view.

Their view is DEATH,DESTRUCTION,CHAOS,MAYHEM for the Kuffar.

I will never “submit” to the forces of evil and ignorance.

Beware of the Serpents. They slide and slither in every city. They’ve traded their snake skins for kufis, prayer rugs, dishdashas and baba ghanoush.

  27. says

Yeah, the Moslem hordes were really nice guys through the centuries, raping, looting, killing, demanding tribute, taking slaves, especially women. How many Saracens raped women of Rome on this date?

846  Muslim raiders attack areas near Ostia and Rome.     Some enter Rome and damage the Churches of St. Peter and St.Paul.  The Leonine Wall is built to discourage further Attacks.

The Leonine Wall still stands. But the Saracens are pouring into the West anyway, same as they ever did. That’s what these devils of the ‘religion of peace’ always do. Then over the rubble they build their ‘triumphant’ mosques, command centers for the next raid. Islam is so easy to understand: Rape, pillage, and loot, just like their barbaric 7th century Warlord taught them to do. Then crow from the new minarets “Allah..!” Disgusting, all of it.

  28. says

    Eleanor,

Gingrich has always been a serious thinker it strikes me, so I would not be surprised if he decided to educate himself about Islam at some stage (you can hardly imagine Sarah Palin doing the same) and including JW in his reading. I am v. thankful that he has done so. It always seems to me that the US does at heart have a healthier and more responsive democracy than in the UK.

We need people to understand what Islam teaches. Then we can have a serious and sober debate about how democratic societies respond to this totalitarian movement. But up till now, there has been no informed debate on Islam in the public arena – just a load of misinformation and wishful thinking.

  29. says

Hugh F wrote: Do you want to know more? I could fill up a book — and so could any Hindu, Buddhist, Jew, or Christian, or atheist like me- about the treatment of non-Musilm artifacts by Muslim conquerors.

Please, please do. It will be a very valuable resource.

  30. says

Gingrich has always been a serious thinker it strikes me, so I would not be surprised if he decided to educate himself about Islam at some stage (you can hardly imagine Sarah Palin doing the same) and including JW in his reading.

Why Sarah Palin educating herself about Islam, or including JW in her reading, should be hard to imagine?

BTW, Gingrich – “a serious thinker”? may be…who knows. The problem is he can’t be taken seriously when he opens his mouth to share these serious thoughts. One wonders how much less serious he would be as doer (something he, in contrast to S. Palin, will never be)

Here is Lawrence Auster perfect take on Gongrich:

In his article, Tancredo …skewers Newt Gingrich’s latest nine-point plan to save the Republican party–or is it a twelve-point plan, or a seven-point plan? Who can keep Gingrich’s constantly exfoliating to-do lists straight? And who could possibly care? Gingrich wakes up every morning of his life with a new ten-point–or is it eighteen-point?–answer to America’s problems churning in his head, gives several interviews and a speech about it, writes an article about it, gets talked up in a prestige newspaper, stirs up excitement in conservative circles, and then forgets it all by bed time, when he drifts into a restless sleep and wakes up the next morning brimming over with a new twenty-seven point plan. Which gets the conservatives just as excited as on the previous day. Which shows that they are just as distracted as he is.

And the problem is not just that his to-do lists and other statements keep changing. It’s that they consist largely of hyperbolic blather. I’ll never forget the long letter he wrote about the Islam problem on behalf of some conservative women’s organization, which a friend gave me. The thing seemed very important, so I read it carefully. In the opening pages he described Islamic extremism as the most alarming threat in the history of the world, and spoke of the necessity of serious action against it. Then, in the second half of the letter he got to his “plan,” which consisted of … promoting women’s participation in democratic movements in Muslim countries. That was what he was pushing to defeat the greatest threat in human history.

Gingrich is a joke, a cartoonish parody of a political visionary. Yet such is the absence of talent and principle in today’s Republican party that a certain number of (understandably) desperate conservatives persist in putting their hopes in him.
    (The bolding is mine.)

In saner times, that alone would end any chance of building the monstrosity at GZ, but lies about funding, lies about radical ties, lies about everything don’t deserve any attention at all when “freedom of religion” is thrown up as a roadblock by the Mullah in Chief.

I find it hard to even predict how this will play in the MSM and with the American people. I’ve been wrong before, thinking things that I found outrageous would blow people’s lids, and then never heard so much as another whimper about them.

So, I don’t know. I would THINK that this is a bombshell of gargantuan proportions, but like I said…

    Hi El,

Hamas supports the GZ mosque? Go figure! This is the equivalent of Ted Bundy endorsing a law to legalize serial-murder!

    they just slaughtered whoever complained.

No one complained…The original owners of ‘The Island of the Sun’ had been beaten and evicted…The new owners did build on the ruins of the old, but building a city on the ruins of older cities is common…It just so happens at the time that the Island was the only stable ground…The surrounding area was a lake, that had been filled in with dirt by the new residents…This is now called Mexico City …It is sinking around the stable Island area at a rate of an inch a year…

The Aztec ‘sacred space’ upon which the Spanish built their church was a centre of pagan worship involving human sacrifice Joseph. The Spanish were supported by most other tribes in Mexico which were dominated by the Aztec war machine. It is not surprising that you would seek to use this example for Islam is not a lot different from the Aztec ‘religion’.

  35. says

“[Mexico City Metropolitan Cathedral] is situated atop the former Aztec sacred precinct near the Templo Mayor on the northern side of the Plaza de la Constitución in downtown Mexico City. The cathedral was built in sections from 1573 to 1813 around the original church that was constructed soon after the Spanish conquest of Tenochtitlán.”

Your system is better admits Yousef YK.
True, but not very precise. It is your system, Yousef, which is the worst of all the mankind has ever produced. Absolutely evil and stupid. And that is what makes any alternative better per definition.

  36. says

The Aztecs? Are you kidding us, Yusef?

But then I suppose the propensity for blood sacrifice that is so similar between Aztec paganism and Islam makes you sympathetic to those barbarians, eh?

Sorry, Yusef, no cigar. Aztec blood-worship doesn’t belong in a civilized world any more than Islamic death-cultism does.

  37. says

Yes, of course, and Santa Maria sopra Minerva, the church in the small piazza that has its obelisked elephant, and many other places, were built on top of pagan temples. But what is this? An argument that “everyone does it all the time”? That is not true, and not the conclusion that one necessarily has to reach. And the sympathetic rediscovery of pagan antiquity, and the attempt to maintain many sites of pre-Christian, i.e., pagan worship, all over Europe, give the lie to that.

But Islam is different. From the Babri Mosque, to a thousand other mosques built on top of, even using the stone from, Hindu and Jain and Buddhist temples and temple complexes, in India, and in India extra Gangem, that is India beyond the Ganges, as it was once known to the cartographers, that is the East Indies, once entirely Hindu and Buddhist, to the placement — or more likely takeover and refashioning of Christian structures already existing on top of the Temple Mount (see Brill’s Encyclopedia of Islam, see the work on the Dome of the Rock by Christoph Luxenberg), to the Hagia Sophia turned into a mosque (until Ataturk turned it into a museum, not daring — what Turkish government would dare? — to actually allow it to return to being the second-largest church in all of what was once known as Christendom, to all the other structures, Hindu, Buddhist, Christian, that were appropriated.

And then there is the sheer destruction of non-Muslim monuments and artifcats. Look at what happened to all the Buddhist steles wherever, in Central Asia, and near the Gobi, Muslims conquered or passed. Look at what happened to the artifacts — the pitiful few that remain in the tiny National Museum of Kabul — of Greco-Bactrian civilization in Afghanistan. Look at what happeend to the churches and Hindu temples that were in Pakistan, and Bangladesh, at the time of Partition. Look at what happens to them now.

And look at what happened to all 37 synagogues in the Old City of Jerusalem, some of which were ancient, systemtically blown up by the Arabs when the seized the city, who also uprooted Jewish tombstones from the Jewish cemetery on the Mount of Olives, and used those tombstones to line the latrines of the Jordanian army.

Do you want to know more? I could fill up a book — and so could any Hindu, Buddhist, Jew, or Christian, or atheist like me- about the treatment of non-Musilm artifacts by Muslim conquerors.

That’s just a little bit to whet appetites, so that others may continue, and even devote books to the subject, for the subject merits books, upon books, upon books.

  38. says

The thing that your mosques and the Aztec temple have in common are that they are both used to sanctify human sacrifices. The only difference was that the Aztecs actually did the ceremony of sacrifice right at the temple, while Mahoundians send their youth to far off places to explode for nothing more than Mahound’s own ego.

And how do Muslims act in regard to this mattter?

Please Yusef, let me know how many Mosques have been “re-verted” back to synagogues, churches, ghats, mandirs, temples or whatever they were before they were pillaged by Mahound’s henchmen on the hunt for riches? How many non-Muslims have been paid back for their property being seized in Egypt, Indonesia, Malaysia, Pakistan? How many Christian/Catholic/Coptic/Chaldean girls have been returned to their families in Egypt and Iraq after being kidnapped, raped, and forced into a life of servitude to thuggish minions from Hell? Any day now Yusef……

  39. says

Yusef, it took me awhile, but I got you figured out. Who’s your favorite? P Diddy? MC Hammer? Yusef YK, aka Yusef Yo’Kufir, am I close? Your a Muslim rapper building your street cred on Jihad Watch. Clever marketing. How are the CD sales going? Bet your bling-bling is one of those Islamic talismans to ward off the evil eye. Got one of those green Hamas headbands with your branding in Arabic script on it? On the CD cover, are you posing with an AK-47 or a sword? Are you snarling, or did you go with stern, determined look? I bet you went over the top with a suicide vest. I know, you couldn’t help yourself. They do look cool. Post a link so I can sample your latest.

By always listening to/repeating the words of the enemy’s lies the MSM aids the propegandist. During world war two did we publish everything Hitler said?

“Make the lie big, make it simple, keep saying it, and eventually they will believe it” Adolf Hitler

  41. says

Right, we have the “sacred” Aztec temple, the “prophet” Mohammud, the “holy” Koran. All lies being promoted by the MSM, and even repeated by honest people.

“Science of the occult”? What kind of retarded oxymoron is that?

“Provide me one instance in which he has mentioned either Christianity or Jesus.”
    —————
Hi Courreges W! Seems 0 intentionally avoids it.

Case in point: last Easter. I just read a story reporting 0’s (yes that’s a zero) address where he read an Easter address that had originally been given on an Allied won beach in the South Pacific during WWII (can’t recall which one and I can’t find the darned story! Sorry!)

If I locate it, I’ll link it for you next time I see ya!

But anyway, the story showed the text of the whole speech and bolded what 0 (zero) had omitted, and it was all the parts with Jesus and Lord.

I’m not even a believer, but THAT’s TACKY on Easter.

  44. says

In my view, sharish IS subversion of this country. But you’re right in that it would have done no harm whasoever to mention this explicity.

  45. says

Hugh is right on point, as always.

It was European archaeologists, who carefully unearthed and protected pagan relics of Egyptian and Babylonian antiquity. The EU today continues to set aside pagan Greek and Roman archaeological sites for preservation (or restoration). In contrast, the Taliban did their best to destroy ancient statues of Buddha in Afghanistan.

In the USA today, Native American archaeological sites are protected, although that it was not so at the time of the Pilgrim colonists. There are protests over the past destruction of Aztec temples but not at this Web site. There is a group, “La Raza”, who want to return the Southwestern USA to Mexico and refer to it as “Aztlan”.

  46. says

    Correct reply Hugh.

There is another riposte to the likes of Yusef – Muslims have this habit of citing atrocities from pre – modern theocratic Christianity, or pre – Gandhi Hinduism, and then claim that since all religions did it, what is wrong if Muslims did it too.

They need to be told that Christians today, by and large, don’t subscribe to Christianity in the way it was practiced before renaissance. By and large, leading christian nations adhere to Universal Declaration of Human Rights and modern day secular and democratic constitutions derived out of the Declaration, or modified to fall in line with the same. Ditto for Hindus.

So, if you compare Muslim atrocities to what was done by christians in 16th century to Aztecs, or to how Hindus practised caste syste in 19th century, all you are saying is that Islam is at least as good as other pre – modern religions.

    But PRE-modern religions.

No one is defending those pre – modern religions the way they existed. Today, those who believe that Islam itself is a problem owe allegiance to modern day Human Rights and freedoms. Islam is demonstrably, admittedly out of line with these freedoms. Hence it either transforms completely or gets abolished.

All indications are that it cannot be transformed. No Muslim majority country in the world has been able to do it. Rather, they all demonstrate same medievalism and seem to revel in it.

So it is pointless on the part of Yusef’s ilk to recount the atrocities of others in medieval times. Others abandoned medieval practices. Even if those practices were important parts of their religious practice. Muslims did not and have not. Muslims, therefore, need to show cause why Islam should be allowed to exist in modern times.

    Sanjay

  47. says

..it’s a kind of symbol of aggressive intent is it not? – an indication that Islam is never going to accommodate itself to its cultural surroundings.

Exactly. Never. For if they did, it will not be the Islam that has been the bane of humanity for the last 1400 years. Islam cannot change and still be Islam, which puts Muslims and Islam in a terrible fix – its a do or die religion.

  48. says

I’d add to my post above that to the degree that the Spanish were doing as Muslims do one might note two other salient factors:

    (a) the Spanish did that nearly 500 years ago whereas Muslims propose to do so in NYC right now

    and

    (b) 500 years ago the Spanish were not long out of 700 years of Muslim rule so it was not surprising that they practiced a few aspects of Muslim protocol about how to treat indigenous populations.

  49. says

Yes, long exposure to Muslims might explain a lot about Spanish culture, past and present.

For instance, I’ve never understood the way they celebrate their “Catholic” feast days – by throwing goats off towers, or ripping the heads off ducks and the like. I don’t see how animal abuse has anything at all to do with Catholicism, or how it would please the saints in any way at all.

It’s more like those Muslim holidays where they slaughter goats and sheep in the streets to appease a god who lusts after blood …
