Worth killing for
And the world yawns as this barbarity continues. "Jyllands-Posten's cartoons keep Denmark on the terrorist map," from the Copenhagen Post, August 30 (thanks to Paul):
Terrorist network al-Qaeda has released an official death list, naming nine people who have mocked the prophet Mohammed - three of whom are Danish. The list was published in Inspire, the organisation's first ever English language magazine. It is now five years since Jyllands-Posten newspaper published their now notorious cartoons of the prophet, but it would seem the terrorist network has not forgotten the incident, as the three people on the list were all involved in the drawings.
They are the newspaper's former editor-in-chief Carsten Juste, its culture editor Flemming Rose, and the cartoonist Kurt Westergaard, who drew the now infamous picture of the prophet Mohammed with a bomb in his turban....
Islam cannot withstand ridicule. http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/ridicule-mockey-and-satire-best-weapons.html
'Islam cannot withstand ridicule.'
Islam cannot withstand the truth either.
I think the "Everybody Draw Mohammed Day" should become "Everybody Mock Mohammed Day."
Can you imagine the Mohammedans' frenzy and rage? Ha-ha! Makes me laugh just thinking about it.
I hope the government is providing them adequate protection from muslim madmen.
Those darned Danes! Mohammed would have cursed them if he was aware of their existence! Notice how "insulting" the prophet is more dangerous than denying Allah. Is it just possible that Mohammed created Allah rather than the other way 'round?
no one knew about Allah until Mohammad informed them......and Muslims have been misinformed ever since...
It is very strange: but I have this image of the Muslim prophet Muhammad being told by a Rabbi that he is wrong! all wrong, wrong, ridiculously wrong! And I see his tight little smile that the Rabbi later learned the meaning of: fun is the most beauteous camel of Arabia, fun is exterminating an infidel tribe, fun is being presented with the head of a persecutor, fun is not being made fun of. And so it has been ever since, ameen.
Has anyone else noticed that the very argument made against newspapers exercising First Amendment rights by printing the Danish Muhammad cartoons -- "Just because you CAN do it doesn't mean you SHOULD do it; there are people's sensitivities to consider" -- has been turned on its head in the Ground Zero mosque case? "They CAN do it, therefore they SHOULD do it; people's sensitivities be damned!"
You know there's more than one Danish Muslim, disenfrancised underachiever, tech school drop out looking to redeem himself in the eyes of his community by taking up this call. Be your religion's inspired murderer because he gave up on himself and his personal Jihad. It's the easy way out, clouding the shame. But you can't do it secretly. You'll have to beat your chest like any Islamosadist does, bathing in the blood of your holy glory. A sick cult reveling in destruction. The merciful and compassionate g-d no were to be found, because it does not exist.
Can I get my name on their list?
I perfected the Westergaard Turban Bomb sigil for the keyboard:

;-)
lol, very true. But the latter is such an illogical presentation of loud-mouthed narcissism we find it difficult to connect the two, and something inside decent people cannot react to the evident lie when it is surrounded by hazy political and moral correctness. Our brains brake to a halt.
Profitsbeard - that's hilarious!!
I am putting my bets it will be a Somali again for some impromptu showoff reaction, perhaps meant to be seen as not really in earnest in case it does not succeed.
I will make sure to do my part in immortalizing this cartoon by keeping it in circulation.
There is something about this "fatwa" that is so fundamentally offensive to my SENSITIVITIES.
