Books have value. Legal books represent president to be followed within a jurisdiction by the same or lower level courts. I want a court opinion that declares that Islam, and organizations beholden to Islam and the modern practices of Sharia, does not qualify for recognition as a charity for purposes of the IRS.

I can sense your disappointment and somewhat bitter reaction to events. The truth is the events got big on the pastor - and he didn't know how to handle them. He was looking for a way out - and the defence secretary gave him one, so "alls well that ends well".

Warnings are not given for actions that might happen because a person(s)becomes angry.

A parent may warn about playing in the street and being struck by a car. The same parent threatens that if the child plays instead of doing homework, privileges will be denied or with some, "striking" will be employed.

This 'warning' by Rauf is clearly a threat. Perhaps on his "goodwill tour" he was making promises that the building would go through in defiance of everyone and those in the lands he spoke to will hold him to it.

However, now that the world knows that the 9-11 victory mosque will never be moved (and therefore God desires that the 100 Muslim Bibles be burned), Pastor Jones has become very afraid and no longer has such a deep faith that God can protect him and his family against more than one billion enraged Muslims who are ordered by Allah through a divine book to in no way tolerate the slightest insult against this God named Allah. So, the public burning of this Muslim Bible which states that Jesus Christ is not a son of God, and is not a Savior, and did not die on a cross, and that if one wishes God to like him well enough to avoid Hell, one will never become friends with a Christian, will not go forth much to the relief of all American who surely would have been murdered in great numbers if this once brave pastor had actually had enough faith to burn 100 Muslim Bibles.
