Qur'an 2:256 says there is no compulsion in religion. But also in the Qur'an, and throughout Islamic law, there is coercion (9:29), and entrapment, and attempts to force unbelievers into impossible choices between conversion and unlivable situations (see also: Pakistani non-Muslims seeking flood aid), hunger, terror, war, and death. Or under the Ottoman devshirme system, even the loss of a child in the name of a dhimmi tribute, or tax. In other words, they'll try to make you an offer you can't refuse. But no, no, there's no compulsion.
And as much as apologists would still try to tell us this won't, can't, shouldn't happen under Sharia, there is no meaningful mechanism of accountability or limitations of power: such things threaten to be sacrilege to those who claim to rule by divine fiat, and to a system where submission is so valued. And where submission is valued, those looking to protect Islam's supremacy will do what they feel they have to in order to achieve and maintain it.

ISLAMABAD: A 13-year-old Dalit girl was kidnapped and apparently forced to convert to Islam in the Pakistani port city of Karachi, according to a media report on Saturday.
Poonam was kidnapped from her house in Lyari Town in Karachi on Wednesday, her uncle Bhanwroo told the Daily Times newspaper.
When neighbours informed her family of Poonam's presence at a madrassa in Lyari, they went there.
"She was very scared and under the influence of maulvis. She told us they will not let her go, so she will stay with them as a Muslim," said Bhanwroo.
No compulsion.
The family contacted police in Chakiwara to lodge an FIR [First Information Report] on the kidnapping but they refused to do so, he said.
Lyari's Superintendent of Police Khadim Hussain Rind told the newspaper that lodging an FIR would not make any difference as it will be cancelled during court proceedings.
There have been enough pages written about why Islam is wrong and unacceptable to reach to the end of the Universe and back several times - but this relatively small snippet among the screeds explains why Islam will fail.
Any so-called religion that has to force people to convert and rules by fear can never succeed. There are simply too many people who won't accept such ludicrous nonsense for a single second.

This has been going on for ages with all nonmuslims. The goal of the Muslims is convert all infidel wombs to Islamic baby machines. This would lower the number of potential partners for the infidel men and now Muslims babies are being produced instead of infidel babies. Incidentally the Muslims strictly prohibit their Muslim women from marrying infidels, and we all have seen the consequences when the Muslim girls disobey these rules. In Pakistan among the Hindus and Christian’s girls, especially beautiful girls are looked on as curses, because they will be specially targeted for conversion and forced marriages by their Muslim neighbors, workers, friends, and so on.

As so often in the worst (read "purest") Muslim countries, the police and legal systems are entirely complicit in crimes against the vulnerable Infidel population.
If this poor girl's family continues their efforts on her behalf, they could easily find themselves the target of violence themselves, or perhaps facing a trumped-up "blasphemy" charge.
Another Muslim man was short of a wife, the usual story seen here and here across his world. Like the rights of the Infidel in Islamic Law.
"Police won't pursue case." This is of the category of "fox informed that hen house has been robbed, does nothing to catch perpetrators." We're talking about the PAKISTANI police, i.e., the police of the "land of the pure." They were probably in on the plot to kidnap and force-convert the girl before it even happened.

Egyptian Muslims have been stealing Coptic girls and women (and, I understand, from Copts who have sometimes posted here, boys, also) for as long as the Muslims have ruled Egypt.

Confessions of a Former Islamist

It is the detailed testimony of an Egyptian ex-Muslim who had been engaged in the completely deliberate - and Saudi-funded - campaign of seduction/ abduction/ rape/ forced 'conversion' of Coptic Christian girls. By a miracle, he had repented, become a Christian, and was confessing...and, what is more, making reparation by trying to find his victims and help them return to their families and community. His repentance appears to be genuine, for he has nothing to gain, that I can see, by his testimony - which completely corroborates the complaints of the Copts over many years.
I am absolutely certain that any Pakistani Christian or Hindu reading this, any Buddhist or Christian or Hindu from Bangladesh, would find that every part of the Muslim modus operandi described in this report, was dismally familiar.
Muslims regularly kidnap and rape (and often, too, mutilate, and sometimes murder) Assyrian Christian girls in Iraq. Over at atlasshrugs I came across the story of a nun from Iraq who has counselled those of the girls who survive and are not 'converted' or 'married' to a Muslim but simply dumped like garbage. It was horrible. The nun has recorded probably hundreds of cases.
I wonder whether there is a Hindu organisation keeping track of, and recording and verifying in as much detail as possible, cases like that of Poonam?
A report done for the Hindus of Pakistan, identical in format to that which has been produced for the Copts, would be damning evidence against Pakistan; and would be very powerful testimony to the danger that Islam represents, when set alongside the report of abuses practised on the Copts, so that people could see the remarkable similarity between the behaviour of Muslims in Egypt, and Muslims in Pakistan. Different languages, different ethnicities, but...same 'religion' producing identical violations of human rights.
