Travelling abroad for temporary marriages seems to be a right of passage for muslim males. I recall back in February, reading about one such devout barbaric cad who callously murdered his own 3 month old daughter by tossing this tender soul over the snow and ice encrusted rails of the Driscoll bridge into the frigid Raritan River. Baby Zara's body was recovered after the thaw in April. It was just last week that this 'baby daddy' had the unmitigated gall to plead Not Guilty.

This disgusting specimen of human DNA fled to two separate mosques - not far from Philadelphia - neither of which turned him in. The paternal grandfather of Baby Zara finally turned him in. If the mosques had turned him in for having sex with 15 year-old girls, then this would "imply" that sex with a 9 year-old girl would be a more heinous offence.
Such a conclusion would imply criticism of the "behaviour" of the Prophet Muhammad. As he is the "Perfect Man", his behaviour is beyond criticism. To do so would be "blasphemous".
Perhaps that is why the mosques said nothing?

I've often wondered what happens to the victims of these exploitative "temporary marriages". These girls have been abandoned by their "husbands", and any money her family got for pimping her out to her "husband" would soon, no doubt, be eaten up by caring for the baby.
Moreover, these girls are clearly—as Muslims see it—"sullied", meaning that the chances of their re-marrying are incredibly slight.
I know some of these girls are turned out by their families—even though it is usually the family that arranges the girls' rapes in the first place. Some of them wind up as prostitutes while trying to raise their children—while they are still kids themselves.
Any "single mother" is a total outcast, as is their luckless child.
I would also not be surprised if many of these girls wind up being "honor" killed by the same families that arranged their sanctioned rapes in the first place.

The problem occurs when people say they are devout muslims and Fear Allah and see loop hole opportunities to take advantage of situations repetedlty without being punished. I was married to Omar Bey before any of the girls he married. I came into the marriage with a young daughter at that time she waS 10 years old. As soon as he got there he began beating and rapping my daughter. I escaped wuth my children and demanded a Khula'. I went to the hospital for my daughter to be examined and the authorities in Cairo. He got wind of it and his mother sent him adequqte funds to flea bk to America. The Embassy assisted to send my 4 children and i back to Philadelphia. When i went to the authorities in Philadelphia the officer in the police told me that Egypt had jurispudence over the situation and there was nothing that could be done. A year later he went back to Egypt and repetedly engaged in sex with young girls. Regardless of married to or not. Clearly some individuals have a sickness in the heart. So finally after 8 years of being back in the US he's sentenced to 8 years. In my opinon is a slap on the wrist for all the agony, pain, trauma he has inflicted upon manY(undocumented) that they may never recover from. My daughter now 20 and I are still mentally distraut over the situation. However I am greatful that he did get something. But the true punishment will be in the Akirah! And Allah knows Best!
