What Hamas-linked CAIR won't tell you at its press conference today

Hamas-linked CAIR is having a press conference today to proclaim Islamic moderation and whine about "Islamophobia." Here is a handy guide to some of the things they are certain not to mention:

CAIR operatives have repeatedly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups. CAIR is an unindicted co-conspirator in a Hamas terror funding case. Several of its former officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror. Two of its other officials have made Islamic supremacist statements. CAIR also was involved in the Flying Imams' intimidation suit against the passengers who reported their suspicious behavior.

CAIR has attempted to intimidate the FBI and JTTF and dictate their choice of speakers, and in doing so retailed numerous false charges, defamation, distortions, and outright lies about me, SIOA, and Pamela Geller.

CAIR has a long record of duplicity and deception. Although it has received millions of dollars in donations from foreign Islamic entities, it has not registered as a foreign agent as required by the Foreign Agents Registration Act (FARA), despite spreading Islamic supremacist propaganda within the United States.

Although it presents itself as a civil rights group, CAIR actually has numerous links to Islamic supremacist and jihad groups. CAIR founders Omar Ahmad and Niwad Awad (who still serves as CAIR's executive director) were present at a Hamas planning meeting in Philadelphia in 1993 where they and other Hamas operatives conspired to raise funds for Hamas and to promote jihad in the Middle East. CAIR has steadfastly refused to denounce Hamas and Hizballah as terrorist groups.

Several former CAIR officials have been convicted of various crimes related to jihad terror:

* Ghassan Elashi, founder of CAIR's Texas chapter, in 2009 received a 65-year prison sentence for funneling over $12 million from the Islamic charity known as the Holy Land Foundation to the jihad terrorist group Hamas, which is responsible for murdering hundreds of Israeli civilians
* Mousa Abu Marzook, a former CAIR official, was in 1995 designated by the U.S. government in 1995 as a "terrorist and Hamas leader." He now is a Hamas leader in Syria.
* Randall Royer, CAIR's former civil rights coordinator, in 2004 began serving a 20-year prison sentence for aiding al-Qaida and the Taliban against American troops in Afghanistan and recruiting for Lashkar e-Taiba, the jihadist group responsible for the 2008 Mumbai jihad massacres.
* Bassem Khafagi, CAIR's former community relations director, was arrested for involvement with the Islamic Assembly of North America, which was linked to al-Qaida. After pleading guilty to visa and bank fraud charges, Khafagi was deported.
* Rabih Haddad, a former CAIR fundraiser, was deported for his work with the Global Relief Foundation (which he co-founded), a terror-financing organization.

In 1998 Omar Ahmad, CAIR's co-founder and longtime Board Chairman, said: "Islam isn't in America to be equal to any other faith, but to become dominant. The Koran should be the highest authority in America, and Islam the only accepted religion on Earth."

After he received unwelcome publicity as a result of this statement, Ahmad denied saying it, several years after the fact. However, the original reporter, Lisa Gardiner of the Fremont Argus, stands by her story.

CAIR's spokesman Ibrahim Hooper once said: "I wouldn't want to create the impression that I wouldn't like the government of the United States to be Islamic sometime in the future."

Atlhuogh yuo'd nveer konw it, I am a freuqent Grauniad raeder.

Consequently I'm convinced that Islamophobia is a type of racism against dark skinned people.

However, there's one thing that puzzles me, why don't we see Sikhophobia, Buddhistophobia and Hinduphobia? Or am I missing something?

He cry "I doth protest, and surely you must revise? You know I cair, why, I lost my hair by spreading your filthy lies!"

"It does not matter, yourself you flatter" the Imam went on to say. "Just a cog in the wheel, and you will not feel, a thing, when we take you to the vet to be euthanized right after we finish our prayers.

Now lie down and behave or I'll use the stick on you, you filthy l'il douggie!"

CAIR, "Council of anti-American rhetoric."
From a national security perspective, CAIR is a front to a foreign interest disseminating misinformation and propaganda in the war islam wages inside of our shores.
Even in America, tolerance has it's limits and try as they may the real truth of islam will be known to more and more Americans. We may not always have politicians in the dark forever. When it comes to freedom, life and liberty encroaching ideologies, groups , armies Americans will do what it takes to defeat them time after time.

"Muslim Mafia" by David Gaubatz and Paul Sperry lists another dozen or more illustrious former/current officials at CAIR:

Muthanna Al-Hanooti, CAIR's former regional director charged for conspiracy to work with foreign government,tied to organization supporting Sunni insurgency in Iraq;

Abdurahman Alamoudi, another CAIR director now serving 23 year sentence for plotting terrorism, complained Bin Laden didn't kill enough Americans in the US embassy bombing in Africa

Nihad Awad, CAIR's current national executive director and a long time friend of Ibrahim Hooper, caught on tape discussing a plot to disguise payments to Hamas as "charity"

Rafeeq Jaber, a founding board director and VP of CAIR, also the long time president of the Islamic Association for Palestine which was found in 2002 to support Hamas (What do you expect?)

CAIR itself is a member of the US branch of the Muslim Brotherhood.

On a much lighter note, the same "Muslim Mafia" (thank God for serious investigative journalism) cites CAIR's unusual interference in Egyptian politics (though it's not a foreign agent) bitterly complaining to Condoleezza Rice about rigged referendum when Egypt passed anti theocracy amendments to its constitution by majority of voters (which would further restrict the outlawed Muslim Brotherhood).

The Egyptian embassy got wind of the complaint and rebuked CAIR for its interference. In his letter to then the CAIR chairman Ahmed, Egyptian Ambassador Nabil Fahmy told Ahmed he was being "hypocritical" "since I assume you are aware of the notion of separation of church and state as enshrined in the First Amendment to the US Constitution which governs your own country." He chastised Ahmed in closing to "focus on its core mission" in America, and butt out of foreign affairs.

This also serves as a reminder that struggle against Islamists is global and in some places is a lot more serious and bloodier.
