Last October I wrote this about this case:
According to the indictment, in his mosque in Detroit Luqman Abdullah was preaching "offensive jihad" and the establishment of a Sharia state in North America. This sovereign Islamic state would be ruled by Islamic law - and by the apparent godfather of Abdullah's movement, Jamil Abdullah Al-Amin. Al-Amin is the former Black Panther and convert to Islam who gained fame under the name H. Rap Brown. Al-Amin is now serving a life sentence for murdering two police officers, while his disciples, like Luqman Abdullah, carry on the message he articulated so memorably in the 1960s: "If America don't come around, we're gonna burn it down."In the spirit of his mentor, Abdullah has told his flock: "America must fall." He has encouraged the Muslims in his mosque to support Hizballah, the Taliban and Osama bin Laden. He exhorted them to bestir themselves to pious deeds: "We should be figuring out how to fight the Kuffar" - that is, unbelievers. "We got to take out the U.S. government. The U.S. government is nothing but Kuffars." Among the unbelievers were FBI agents, about whom Abdullah declared: "Deal with them, deal with them the way, the way they supposed to be dealt with.... It's not that complicated, man....If they are coming to get me I'll just strap a bomb on and blow up everybody." A law enforcement official wrote in an affidavit that "Abdullah and his followers have trained regularly in the use of firearms, and continue to train in martial arts and sword fighting" - in accord with Abdullah's dictum that every Muslim believer should "have a weapon and should not be scared to use their weapon when needed."
Abdullah found justification for all this in the Islamic holy book, the Qur'an, which he said "justified stealing, robbing and other illegal acts, as long as they profit Islam."
Hamas-linked CAIR tried, but has failed, to make this out to be some kind of civil rights case. Has that repulsive gang of thugs, subversives, seditionists and traitors ever seen an anti-terror law or action that they favored? They are consistently trying to hamstring law enforcement efforts against the jihad. Yet the media still for the most part, as in this AP story, gives them a free pass. Note how the "speculation" of "some" is passed on here to sour readers on the accuracy of the FBI report.

DETROIT (AP) -- Michigan's attorney general said Thursday that he won't file criminal charges against FBI agents who shot a Detroit mosque leader 20 times, killing him during a raid last year on a suburban warehouse.It is "undisputed" that Luqman Ameen Abdullah fired at agents, resisted arrest and rejected demands to surrender, Attorney General Mike Cox said.
"Under Michigan law, law enforcement agents are justified in using deadly force in these types of situations, and therefore we found no crimes," Cox said in a written statement.
Some leaders in the local Muslim community have questioned whether the agents used excessive force. Besides being shot 20 times, Abdullah had wounds that an independent forensic pathologist said were caused by an FBI dog killed during the raid last October.
Some have speculated that Abdullah may have fired his gun while trying to defend himself from the dog. Indeed, Cox's report said agents deployed the dog after the suspect failed to show his hands while on his stomach on the ground.
The dog began biting Abdullah, who rolled over, revealed a gun and fired at the dog and at agents, the report said.
Four agents returned fire and Abdullah was killed, the report said.
"It is clear that the agents acted in self-defense and/or in defense of others," the report said. "The facts show Abdullah making a series of decisions that resulted in the use of deadly force against him - and ultimately his death.
"None of Abdullah's followers who complied with the ... commands were injured in any way," the report said, referring to four others detained after the raid....
The FBI has described her husband as a leader of a radical Sunni group that wants to create an Islamic state within the U.S. Authorities say Abdullah preached hate for the government and encouraged his followers to commit violence, especially against police and federal agents.
He told an FBI informant that if the government messed with him, "it will be straight up war," according to a court document. Abdullah's family, however, has denied that he was anti-government....
Dawud Walid, the director of the Michigan chapter of the Council on American-Islamic Relations, said he wants to read the attorney general's report before commenting. But he repeated his call for all evidence to be released to the public.
The Justice Department's civil rights division has also been investigating Abdullah's death.
"Until those results are made public, along with information involved in this case, many of us won't be satisfied," Walid said.
When I read this story last year I was saddened that a police dog died.

This echoes the exhortation of LeRoi Jones/Amiri Baraka in his late '60s poem, "Black People!":
"You can't steal nothing from a white man he's already stole it he owes you anything you want, even his life."

Anyone who claims this was excessive force is either delusional or has a hidden motive. ('Just saying, it could have been the dog's gun.')
Is this all an allegory to a bigger message?

It says rather a lot about CAIR that they think it necessary to make a noise about this.
But that goes hand in hand with the OIC statement that they'll support a Muslim anywhere, for a Muslim is always right.
Still pining for the dog (like Idle's parrot was "pining for the fjords").

Oh the poor dog. Now I would sue the muslim community for the death of the police dog. They should make restitution to the state for the loss of that fine, brave animal. The muslims should also be forced to work in the animal shelters cleaning out the dirty cages as part of their punishment.
This man urged his fellow Muslims to "take out the US government" yet his family says that he was not against the government. I have no doubt that these people would pass lie detector with flying colours. They seem to have no conscience as we understand it.
It's ABSOLUTELY certain the good dog is in heaven. I wonder where the dead man is now.
