[...] Here are a few interesting details on Yemen that I became aware of this afternoon after speaking with an intelligence source who actually flew out of Sana'a, Yemen to Dubai yesterday, around the time the explosives were found.1) The source noticed several things which seemed strange or outright alarming at Sana'a International (El Rahaba) airport in Yemen. For one, according to my source, pre-teen boys were pulling bags out of x-ray machines and essentially acting as porters, complete with uniforms. And you thought TSA had problems.
2) The source noticed a good deal of large bags, "30 or 40 of them," being brought by porters (grown adults, this time) to the personal baggage terminal, rather than to the cargo terminal, which seemed odd. Given the conditions my source described, it obviously isn't very hard to imagine a suspicious package making its way onto a plane flying out of Yemen.
It also isn't difficult to imagine that Al Qaeda may have sympathizers or operatives actually working at the airport who would help facilitate getting explosives onto flights....

So if Mr.Hooper and Awad keep asking Ms.Geller about "How many blocks away" is far enough for the Mega-Victory Mosque to be built, lets hold up a mirror to CAIR and aks "How many slaughtered civilains on 9/11 would be enough to make them have compassion and not build the Mosque there?".

His numbers are declining faster than a snowball in Hades and it may be a ploy to garner support for him. You cannot trust the president nor his minions nor anyone connected with the Democrat National Committee -- they follow Alinksy's "Rules for Radicals" which like the Koran, encourages lying and dishonesty to accomplish the end result.
I'd love to know how the Rabbi at that left-wing Reform synagogue (Chicago area also, BTW) that I belong to but almost never attend is going to spin this. She and her Christian and Muslim "spiritual leader" cohorts are hosting a bunch of "interfaith" get-togethers this coming week on the issue of "justice and peace in the Middle East." You can guess what these masters of Orwellian lie-speak mean by that: those evil Jewish settlers in the W. Bank, and their perfidious enablers AIPAC and the "Jewish lobby," are at fault for everything, presumably including the well-publicized re-emergence of bed bugs as well. It culminates for my congregation next Friday (11/5) evening with a speech by a great Muslim intellectual. That's right: in the synagogue, on Shabbat. Talk about foxes and henhouses. But that's an insult, in my mind: I have too much respect for foxes to compare them to Muslim liars and double-talkers.

Or quote her certain bleak and terrible words from the mouth of Righteous Gentile Jacques Ellul whose tree stands in the avenue at Yad Vashem.
In his book 'Ce Dieu Injuste? Theologie Chretienne pour le Peuple d'Israel' (in which he is primarily setting out to deconstruct 'christian' antisemitism, showing that it is NOT authorised or required by the major Christian texts) Ellul discusses the eschatological glory promised to Israel by YHWH. And then he says -
'Cette gloire promise et assuree a Israel ne doit pas non plus faire oublier l'horrible aventure des Temps presents: a la fois la Shoa commise par les nazis **et celle preparee par les musulmans** {my emphasis - dda}.

Ellul's life spanned nearly the whole of the 20th century (he was born in 1912 and died in 1994). He saw the rise of Hitler and was not surprised, for - like some others - he had read Mein Kampf. During the period of the Occupation of France by the Nazis, he joined the Resistance and helped Jews to escape...which is why his tree now grows at Yad Vashem. He noticed, and befriended, and mentored, Bat Yeor, and did his best to promote her work. He wrote a brilliant book in defence of Israel, called 'Un Chretien Pour Israel' (1983), which I commend to everyone here who is able to read French - it has, strangely enough, never been translated into English, even though pretty well everything else he wrote *has* been translated.
Encourage your rabbi to read Ellul - especially two pieces on Islam that are readily available in English, namely, the mini-essay on Jihad that he wrote as foreword to Bat Yeor's 'The Decline of Eastern Christianity under Islam', and the essay on dhimmitude that he wrote as foreword to the English edition of 'The Dhimmi: Jews and Christians Under Islam".
There's also a little book "Jacques Ellul: Islam et Judeo-Christianisme" [published after his death] which contains a previously unpublished essay in French, written circa 1991, called "Les trois piliers du conformisme". If you can, macck, get that book, translate the essay, and distribute discreetly to all the Christian and Jewish members of your rabbi's interfaith group.
Ellul makes absolute mincemeat of the three main 'arguments' that Muslims have been using to try to get themselves inside the door of Mother Church and Mother Synagogue: to wit, the 'Abrahamic faiths' pick-up line, the 'religions of the book' pick-up line, and the 'we all worship one god' pick-up line. It's all a scam! a scam! a scam!
The other author who does a good demolition job on the usual 'interfaith' canards by which Muslims bamboozle both Christians and Jews, is the Aussie Anglican scholar, Mark Durie, in his book 'Revelation? Do We Worship the Same God'? Although it's aimed primarily at Christians, substantial portions of the book deal with the radical contrast - indeed, flat contradiction - between the Muslim and the Biblical idea of what God is like, His character and how He acts and relates to humanity, and these portions are just as relevant to Jews as to Christians.
