Why didn't he get fired? Investigated? Arrested? Well, what's to be concerned about a harmless Misunderstander of Islam working in a nuclear plant? "Worker Spoke of Jihad, Agency Says," by Scott Shane in the New York Times, October 4:
WASHINGTON -- A New Jersey man accused of joining Al Qaeda in Yemen spoke openly of militant views while working at American nuclear plants, according to a report by the inspector general of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission that proposes tightening personnel security rules.The man, Sharif Mobley, who is charged by Yemeni authorities with murdering a hospital guard during an escape attempt in March, said he told others in his labor union: "We are brothers in the union, but if a holy war comes, look out," said the report from the inspector general, Hubert T. Bell.
Fellow nuclear plant workers said Mr. Mobley had referred to non-Muslims as "infidels" and had visited "unusual" Web sites on his personal computer, including one showing a mushroom cloud, the report said....
The American-born Mr. Mobley, 26, worked between 2002 and 2008 as a laborer at six nuclear plants in New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Maryland.
Ms. Harrington said that he performed "routine labor, carrying supplies and helping with maintenance" and that the commission "is not aware of any safety concerns" regarding his employment.
The inspector general found that Mr. Mobley did have unescorted access to the interior of the plants but did not have access to computers or high-security information....
Mr. Mobley told friends in 2008 that he planned to move to Yemen to study Arabic and Islam. American and Yemeni officials said he connected there with Al Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula, the branch of the terrorist network in Yemen.
Mr. Mobley was arrested by Yemeni security officers in January and was taken in March to a hospital in Sana, the capital, after complaining of illness. On March 7, according to Yemeni officials, he grabbed a security guard's gun and tried to escape, fatally shooting one guard. He remains in Yemeni custody on capital murder charges.
His lawyers have admitted that Mr. Mobley was in contact with Anwar al-Awlaki, an American-born radical cleric in Yemen who has been linked to several terrorist plots and has called for attacks on the United States. But the lawyers have said Mr. Mobley denies being involved in any terrorist plot.

Not to worry. He didn't have COMPLETE unescorted access to the nuke facility.
Why do we always have to wait for history to repeat itself?Did we not learn the lesson from the so called father of the Islamic Nuke?
No matter what you may think , there has to be a restriction on letting Muslims work in certain places, such as a nuclear facility,army,FBI and all other intelligence agencies. It does not make any sense to allow these Muslims access to any thing that will come back at us.
They have been given all the advantages of a free society and they all have chosen to work against the society that have opened itself to them. So why would we not have the right to shut the door on them in every sense. Remember these Muslims are muslims first,second and third, there is no room for anyone else.
These guys are everywhere. I just learned that one of the group that tried to get into a military complex and kill "infidels" worked in a large supermarket where I shopped every week. He was not a home grown Muslim either.
Of course, working in a nuke facility and a supermarket are two different things. But my point is that these people have infiltrated our country and could even be living next door to any of us. Who knows where else they are employed? Talk about scary.
I don't believe in moderate or radical muslims anymore. To me, they are either dormant or active.
Mobley is a double minority(black and Muslim) and hence unfirable. If the company tried to terminate his employment they'd have the ACLU and several government agencies ready to lynch them. IOW any manager taking action against him could kiss their career goodbye, especially if they were a church going Christian.
Think of this case as a variant of Maj. Hasan's. Where you had the same thing thing - a Muzzie going off the rails about Jihad in public and no one dares do a thing lest they have SecDef. Gates(remember he is personally supportive of having Muslims in our military) destroy their careers and lives with a phone call.
A muslim who chooses to work in an infidel welfare state where there is lots of jizya to be had is just plain suspicious to me.
If Muslims were made to publicly denounce Hamas and other terrorist organizations (e.g., the Muslim Brotherhood), that might be a good criteria as to whether they should be hired or watched. The time is long overdue where allowing this kind of dissent is acceptable. The irony, of course, is that they can hold signs reading "Behead Those Who Call Islam Violent" or "Kill the Infidels" while we have Geert Wilders on trial for mentioning facts about their beliefs and actions. Like Theo Van Gogh, we are supposed to sit back, say nothing, and become Islamicized.
So it was the Sharif who shot the deputy.
The Yemenis will know how to deal with him.

Nick, you could have made the same point by using the word "gay" rather than "fag." I am straight, but I know there are several readers of this site who are gay in addition to being ardently anti-jihad and anti-shari'a (for obvious reasons!).

See iam from India,I was just going through the blogs & come across that people of America have still not understood the gravity of the situation.Iam from a country which had Muslims for 1400yrs & constitute 10-13% of the total population of the country & believe me they r just fanatics.Muslims broke this country & the people who still remain r indulging in bombing & killing of innocent people.Kashmir the only muslim majority state in India wants to secede from India only & only because it is Muslim majority & cant coexist with the majority Hindus.
