Pakistan: Police break up Mass held in front of chapel seized by Muslims

Imagine the reaction if they had disrupted Muslim prayers on any legal pretext. An update on this story. "Rawalpindi: Police stop mass in front of Gordon College chapel," by Jibran Khan for AsiaNews, October 25:

Islamabad (AsiaNews) - The situation remains tense between Christians and local authorities in Rawalpindi (Punjab) over the illegal occupation of the Christian chapel of Gordon College, a Presbyterian Church University. Yesterday, the police stopped the celebration of a Mass organized by the Protestant community in front of the chapel. To prevent the gathering local authorities applied law 144 / c, which bans any gathering of more than two individuals. More than 20 police trucks arrived on site, dispersing the crowd.
On 19 October, a group of 20 armed men occupied the chapel and have barricaded themselves inside. These are Muslim faithful who have the backing of the local government with false documents claiming ownership of the building.

"Unfortunately there is one thing standing between me and that property: the rightful owners." - Hedy Headley Lamarr, Blazing Saddles

The act has drawn the protests of both Christians and Muslims. In recent days, the All Pakistan Christian Action Committee (Apcac), the local Christian community and non-governmental organizations took to the streets of Rawalpindi to demand justice and freedom of worship for Christians.

Which Muslim groups protested?

Nina Robinson Asghar, head of Apcac, said: "The culprits have made fake documents of the property, they want to demolish the Church and construct a commercial center, but we will never allow this to happen."
The Chapel of the Gordon College was reopened in April 2010 after eight years of closure. It currently belongs to a government trust fund, which should hand it to the Christian community, however, according to Pakistani law, the church could also be sold to third. The illegal occupation is an attempt to steal the building, a similar incident occurred in April, but the police intervened, arresting the culprits.

From the article: "On 19 October, a group of 20 armed men occupied the chapel and have barricaded themselves inside. These are Muslim faithful **who have the backing of the local government with false documents claiming ownership of the building** {my emphasis - dda}."

I wonder how many Western journalists, encountering tearful and voluble 'Poor Palestinians' waving the alleged documents 'proving' ownership of this or that house, or parcel of land, that they claim the Wicked Jooz have 'stolen' from them, have ever paused to wonder whether those oh-so-convincing documents may not be...forged, and false as hell?

People of the Lie.

Everywhere there are Muslims there is fraud. The whole thing is *based* on a fraud. The claim that 'everyone is born Muslim' and that 'Jesus was a Muslim' and 'Abraham was a Muslim' is *exactly* the same kind of scam as this fraudulent claim to the ownership of a building in Pakistan.

John Quincy Adams, on Islam, 1829:

"The precept of the Koran is, perpetual war against all who deny, that Mahomet is the prophet of God.

"The vanquished may purchase their lives, by the payment of tribute;

"the victorious may be appeased by a false and delusive promise of peace;

"and the faithful follower of the prophet, may submit to the imperious necessities of defeat:

"but the command to propagate the Moslem creed by the sword is always obligatory, when it can be made effective.

"The commands of the prophet may be performed alike, by fraud, or by force. "

In this blatant display of theft and robbery of a property from the Christians, in Pakistan, we see both fraud and force openly and boastfully engaged in by the Muslims doing the 'church invasion' and occupation and forging of documents, and we also see the Muslim Pakistani authorities shamelessly siding with that gross wickedness.

Question.

I wonder just how many mosques, in the lands of the infidels, would - if all the transactions involved in the purchase of the land, the gaining of building approval, the construction itself, were minutely examined by sceptical and well-informed investigators - turn out to be rotten with fraud?

I wonder how many Muslim businesses in the West could stand up to a surprise inspection from forensic accountants?

Mohammed was a warlord. Jesus was not.

That says a lot about what you need to know from both religions.

What was that about 'no compulsion in religion' again?

Dumbledoresarmy,

I take it you'd agree that Pakistan needs no more aid from a predominantly Christian nation, as opposed to the multi-billion $ increase that the US secretary of state (aka Satan in pantsuit) feels necessary.

"In addition, in a sign of support and solidarity, on Sunday, October 24, the Christian communities of all denominations will gather in the square in front of the building to celebrate the Sunday liturgy outdoors. . ."

When I read that in the previous post this afternoon at lunch, I almost commented thus:

"That would be a very bad idea."

But, as usual, I held my tongue. For one thing, it's so obvious. For another, I just hate to be right about Islamic mayhem. It's not like predicting the winning lottery numbers or the Sunday football victors, prognostications in which one can take some measure of satisfaction or pleasure, not to mention profit.

Too bad the lottery and football aren't as easy to predict as Muslim intimidation, thuggery, and violence.

Given the usual lottery and Vegas odds, we'd all be rich. Hell, I could have retired just on my Browns visiting New Orleans yesterday, had I known.

Now there's something I haven't said about the jihad du jour in a long, long time.

If only I had known.

This is starting to look like what sparked some Sikh's in canada to plot a terrorism attack that slaughtered 240 canadian civilains at 35'000 feet in a 747 doing close to 500 mph.
The CBC still won't call the terrorist Sikh's when they themselves profess to be Sikh's, and the Khadr case and Toronto-18 terrorists are not even linked to islam or called Muslims. Multiculturalism is now a Suicide-pact with any minority group bent on global domination to slaughter billions for their sick and twisted version of God that really want peace on earth by murdering all the enemies.

Precisely.

I agree with Hugh Fitzgerald's oft-repeated call for a cessation to the 'aid' - or jizya - that the USA is pouring into Pakistan's gaping and insatiable maw.

You are referring to the bombing of the Air India aircraft "Kanishka" in 1985. The year before (1984)two Sikh bodyguards had shot and killed Indira Gandhi, then prime minister of India. In retaliation over 3000 Sikhs were murdered in Delhi and other places in India. The Sikh terrorists had killed many Hindus in their quest for an independent state.

However, since the majority community retaliated in 1984 the Sikh terrorism slowly waned and ended by 1986. The Sikhs learned their lessons, unfortunately the hard way, that killing can go both ways. However, since that time Sikhs have renounced terrorism and have returned to the peaceful mainstream. One should not attempt to equate Sikhs in any way with muslims. Muslims have been criminals for centuries and will continue to be so.

I daresay, it will take only strong retaliatory action by the majority in any country where these muslims are destroying civil life that will be needed to put an end to their nonsense. Undesirable, but one day that option might be forced. Americans fought a civil war to get to the present. No one should fear another one, especially when it comes to protecting who they are.

Irony.

Gordon College is a Presbyterian Church University.

In the United States, the Presbyterian Church increasingly sides with the Arabs against Israel, by disinvesting in Israel, denouncing Israeli policies and calling for boycott of Israel:

In Pakistan, the Presbyterians are treated no differently than the other dhimmis.

I am not familiar with the Presbyterian custom of conducting Masses. To the best of my knowledge Mass is a Catholic rite.

Is the reference to this rite in the above story a mistake, or am I missing something?

I don't know about the Presbyterians, but the Anglican church holds communion, which is sort of like Mass.
