In "Offensive Jihad: The One Incontrovertible Problem with Islam" in Pajamas Media (via RaymondIbrahim.com), October 28, our friend Raymond Ibrahim discusses an Islamic doctrine that Islamic spokesmen in the West hardly ever seem to get around to mentioning:

Scholar Majid Khadurri (1909-2007), after defining jihad as warfare, writes that jihad "is regarded by all jurists, with almost no exception, as a collective obligation of the whole Muslim community."Even that chronic complainer Osama bin Laden makes it clear that offensive jihad is the root problem: "Our talks with the infidel West and our conflict with them ultimately revolve around one issue... Does Islam, or does it not, force people by the power of the sword to submit to its authority corporeally if not spiritually? Yes. There are only three choices in Islam... Either submit, or live under the suzerainty of Islam, or die."
Clearly, then, it is in the Muslim world's interest to keep the West ignorant of the fact that, irrespective of all Muslim grievances -- real or feigned -- nothing less than Islamic law itself mandates a state of constant hostility. Indeed, if the implications of offensive jihad were fully embraced, humanity might be compelled to view the Muslim world as a perpetual, existentialist threat, in need of preemptive containment. That said, and considering the willful ignorance of the West's political elite -- who are guided less by objective facts and more by their "feel-good" ideals -- Muslim talk of offensive jihad, no matter how loud or ubiquitous, will likely continue to fall on deaf ears.
Islam is a clever human contrievance that uses a diety to further its' agenda. Fear, is it's dynamic.

I reiterate what I said on a different thread: Why don't we give THEM to choices THEY give us (with a few twists), that is:
1) Convert OUT of Islam to another, peaceful (benign) religion or become an atheist;
2) Pay jizzya and feel yourself subdued;
3) Die (or be deported and/or incarcerated indefinitely, at your expense)
Then, all mosques (in Western, secular democracies) should be destroyed. If not, they may not be repaired or new ones be built.
Any infractions of 1 or 2 should result in 3.

Your proposal will certianly result in a favorable solution. However, I don't think it's viable for it to be implemented. We would need to motivate them in some way to denounce their belief. If you're suggesting that we oulaw it through legislation, then it can become a viable proposal.

I realize I'm flogging a dead horse here, but once again I'm compelled to insist that islam, ALL facets of islam, are inherently evil, and must be opposed from all quarters if our tolerant, enlightened western civilization is to survive. Our parents and grandparents had no difficulty in identifying and opposing fascism and international communism; what on earth is the matter with us? The bottom line of all pros & cons of Islam as a religion is that it says two things , i.e. (1) the Koran is God's word and so no human mortal on this earth has the authority to question what is stated in it (2) the world will be pure and safe to live only and only when all the inhabitants of this earth accept anf follow Islam !
So , with (1) no civilian court of law has the authority to question what is stated in Koran ! Full Stop ! Hence the western judiciary cannot touch Koran !
And with (2) until such time the whole world becomes Islamic, all the methods prescribed in Koran will be used by a practising Muslim to convert the "Kafirs"(infidels) and "Jihad" would unquestionably one of those means that could be used freely and liberally at all times !
In short , with the above princoples deeply rooted in the minds of Muslims all around the world the present non-Islamic population of world will have to face "Jihad" till every soul on this earth becomes a Muslim !

I concur with Courreges W. At what point do we stop talking about "ridding the world of Islam" and actually do something about it?
Muslims have no problem roaming around in gangs and intimidating "non-believers" in their own countries. When are we going to take up arms and take back our communities? We need to tell the politicians shit or get off the pot.
Someone either posted on JW or I read it in a book, but it basically said (actually, I think it was Saleem Smith (http://www.considerationsofacanadianex-muslim.org) moderate muslims make it even more difficult to wake up the world to the "real" Islam because the give legitimacy to Islam as a religion.
I often wonder, "Even if you're "moderate," do not wish to kill people in the name of Islam, are afraid of leaving due to the death sentence for apostasy, etc., etc., why on earth would anyone adhere to a religion whose so-called "prophet," AT THE VERY LEAST, was a pedophile? For this reason alone, it makes it very difficult for me to give quarter to ANY Muslim, even if they found a cure for cancer.
