BEIRUT (AP) - Hezbollah supporters used mosque loudspeakers Thursday to rally crowds ahead of a trip by Iran's president to southern Lebanon near the border with Israel, a visit the U.S. and Israel have called intentionally provocative....Residents of southern Lebanese were heading to Bint Jbeil, a border village that was bombed during the 2006 Israeli-Hezbollah war, to greet the Iranian president Thursday afternoon.
The village, barely two and a half miles (four kilometers) from the border, is dubbed "the capital of resistance" because it was a center for Hezbollah guerrilla action against Israel during the Jewish state's 18-year occupation of the south, which ended in 2000.
Many students in the south skipped school Thursday to await Ahmadinejad.
Israeli government spokesman Mark Regev slammed the trip Thursday, saying "Iran's domination of Lebanon through its proxy Hezbollah has destroyed any chance for peace, has turned Lebanon into an Iranian satellite and made Lebanon a hub for regional terror and instability."
Ahmadinejad's visit has underscored the eroding position of pro-Western factions in Lebanon. More broadly, it has suggested that the competition over influence in Lebanon may be tipping toward Iran and its ally Syria, away from the United States and it Arab allies Egypt and Saudi Arabia.
The Iranian president's arrival also exacerbated fears among many Lebanese - particularly Sunnis and Christians - that Iran and Hezbollah are seeking to impose their will on the country and possibly pull Lebanon into a conflict with Israel. Many say the trip could aggravate tensions in a country with a long history of sectarian strife.

Ahmanutjob is forever the provocateur and needs, maybe that's overstating, he wants an excuse to cause mischief in Lebanon. It's unfortunate that all too many support this thug; I wonder why?
I'd love to see the IDF drop a bomb on that Arabdinejad, and there could be no better occasion than this. Better than seeing the world be rid of that giant-headed tapeworm would only be the sea of tearful eyes at the Assembly General of the UN (The United Arabs, Arab-Wannabes and Arab Sandal-Lickers.)

As soon as Muslims got hold of this particular bit of kafir technology - loudspeakers - they saw their possibilities for rabble-rousing and whipping up the allahu-akbaring mob that pours from the mosque to wreak mayhem upon the nearest available non-Muslims.

we learned that, again in Pakistan, "100 Christian houses and churches were set on fire by local Muslims in the city of Kasur South, east of Lahore, Pakistan.
"The riots were incited by broadcasts from local mosques."
Memo to local authorities in the lands of the non-Muslims: if one permits mosques at all (which is a bad idea in itself, they being the advance bases, recruitment offices and rallying-points of an aggressive totalitarian system of enslavement, a cult of blood and war that aims at Total World Domination), one should *not* permit the installation of loudspeakers in same.
I was SO hoping we would get the news that a sniper had performed a heroical deed and taken this nutjob out.
Surely Israel has new warheads that need to be tested, this would have been a good test site.
