Qur'an 3:28 warns believers not to take unbelievers as "friends or helpers" (َأَوْلِيَا -- a word that means more than casual friendship, but something like alliance), "unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them." This is a foundation of the idea that believers may legitimately deceive unbelievers when under pressure. The word used for "guard" in the Arabic is tuqātan (تُقَاةً), the verbal noun from taqiyyatan -- hence the increasingly familiar term taqiyya. Ibn Kathir says that the phrase Pickthall renders as "unless (it be) that ye but guard yourselves against them" means that "believers who in some areas or times fear for their safety from the disbelievers" may "show friendship to the disbelievers outwardly, but never inwardly. For instance, Al-Bukhari recorded that Abu Ad-Darda' said, 'We smile in the face of some people although our hearts curse them.' Al-Bukhari said that Al-Hasan said, 'The Tuqyah [taqiyya] is allowed until the Day of Resurrection." While many Muslim spokesmen today maintain that taqiyya is solely a Shi'ite doctrine, shunned by Sunnis, the great Islamic scholar Ignaz Goldziher points out that while it was formulated by Shi'ites, "it is accepted as legitimate by other Muslims as well, on the authority of Qur'an 3:28." The Sunnis of Al-Qaeda practice it today.

So, talking about Choudery as 'honest' implies there are 'honest' and 'dishonest' Muslims. They are all peddling the same dishonesty. Choudery is upfront about Islam's intentions, but he's just as big a crook as Rauf and his fellow travelers.
I truly like seeing & hearing this honest Muslim Anjem Chaudary in the media, he tells it straight. He should be heard from more often to wake up those people who still think Islam is just another peaceful religion unfairly maligned and one that sane pwople can coexist with. I wish he were given a nightly spot on the FOX network, called something like "Your Cordial Jihadist Tells It Like It Is".

For those of us who have been paying attention for years (Robert Spencer for over 30 years) , what Anjem Chaudary expresses is no shock to us as the video is so titled. We have heard his ramblings for probably nearly a decade now.
It seemed almost a little weird as Elliott Spitzer put on his former prosecutor mask saying Choudary would be arrested for his treasonous remarks. Of course in the UK treasonous comments appear not to be a violation of law. Apparently you have to blow up a subway or something before your arrested, such is the insanity political of correctness in the UK.
What I would love to see: Bill O'reilly invite Anjem Choudary on as a guest and than encourage the ladies of the VIEW along with Joyless Blowhard to have them on both shows, no doubt that would be provocatively interesting.

So far as I am aware the motormouth "cleric" Choudhary (many spellings of that) is self appointed, does not run a mosque, and has a tiny following. Most muslims hate him as well - some not least because he gives the game away.
What is truly amazing is the amount of air time he gets in the UK and now in the US.
Choudhary is a trained lawyer who practiced only for a short time before embarking on his "mission" full-time. Since then he and his family have existed on benefits.
No-one seems to have queried how he affords to travel the length and breadth of the country or that his "mission" effectively makes him unavailable for work.
The UK Government's plans on benefits and housing benefits should significantly reduce his income and even dispossess him of his current taxpayer funded house. Or at least that is what is supposed to happen because this parasite won't be getting a job. In fact I doubt anyone would employ him.
Unfortunately he was born in the UK. Sadly even those who weren't - like Bakri and Abu Hamza - we seem unable to deport or extradite because of their "human rights"

If Choudary keeps revealing what goes on in mosques, he is likely to get a fatwa.
If we did not have the likes of him, Qatada and Bakri, we would all wake up one morning to the call of the mezzuen. If we loose this war, Choudary will be quite justified in asking us what the hell is the matter with us.

Their September/ October 2010 booklet contains the following information, in a request for prayer for Mauritius, which is currently 20 % Muslim, 30 % Hindu, and around 50 % Christian and other.
"There are many Muslim politicians, including the vice-Prime Minister, and also a radical cleric who is lobbying for sharia law. **According to Islamic strategy for Africa, if a country's population reaches 33 % Muslim then the country is effectively "taken" for Islam** [my emphasis - dda]. Mauritius is fast approaching this figure"...
Now, there isn't a footnote supplying a formal reference for this statement, that there is an Islamic strategy for Africa involving the claiming of a country for Islam once its population is 33 % Muslim. (Perhaps it's in an OIC document somewhere).
But Patrick Sookhdeo, founder of the Barnabas fund, is an apostate from Islam and his knowledge of historic and contemporary Islamic sources, from all over, is as good as Mr Spencer's and quite probably better. I think he has his ear to the ground. So I'll take the statement seriously.

The same thing has happened in towns and cities throughout Britain where the indigenous people have been effectively ethnically cleansed from large areas where they used to live and replaced by colonists, for that is what they really are. It's high time the boot was put onto the other foot.

If you complained about the huge influx of immigrants you were called racist. If you complained about anything else you were called an islamaphobe. We, the English, were told by a Labour Minister, Jack Straw, that the English are a race not worth saving. Now, if WE said that about any other race, WE would be called racists. So what is the difference? We are the English and we are constantly rubbished and undermined by the UK Government. We, like the Scots should have our own parliament, especially seeing as we are about 6 times the size of Scotland, but the UK Government will not extend this to the English so we are now second class citizens in our own Country.
Every foreign culture they are flooding our Country with, must be protected even at the expense of our English culture. Old ladies have been told to take China pig ornaments out of their windows because local muslims may be offended. Some schools cancelled their Christmas pantomine because they wanted to celebrate a muslim festival a little later. Many of our schools seem to have a leftwing staff who are too pleased to carry out these ludicrous and insulting things. But they only insult Christians so it does not matter.
Labour's leftwing lackeys are now in many key posts in this Country and now they can control what the public see or hear, and often hide the rest of the news if it is not to their taste.
Our soldiers coming home from previously Iraq and then Afghanistan, have been cursed at and called murderers, baby killers etc by protesting muslims. These soldiers have recently lost close friends and seen terrible things and now newcomers to our Country abuse them. I really don't see why a suitable full-colour near-life-size picture of Mr Anjem Choudary's ugly mug should not be downloaded from the internet (where many such photos of him exist, by now), printed off at something like life-size, and stuck onto a suitably-costumed hessian-and-straw effigy, which effigy might then be popped into the bonfire to roast, back to back with the traditional figure of the Guy. Before lighting the bonfire (into which could also be tossed a print-out of the text of the Pact of Omar, which is one legendary formulation of the viciously repressive 'Rules for Dhimmis'), the assembled Resistance might loudly proclaim their condemnation and rejection of the vile barbarism that is Sharia, sing a round of the National Anthem, and drink a toast to Her Majesty the Queen.
There are other much more prominent Islamic figures, too, whose effigies might similarly be burnt on Guy Fawkes Day as a symbolic way of rejecting and condemning all their evil works and days and puncturing their pride and presumption: Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, for one, and Hassan Nasrallah for another who heads up Hezbollah (he who has proclaimed that it would be nice if all the Jews in the world gathered in Israel, for that makes it easier for the Muslims to kill them) and Osama bin Laden and his 2IC Ayman Zawahiri, for others; and the head of the Abominable House of Saud; and the genocidal despot who rules over Sudan.
