GUANTANAMO BAY, Cuba - In the midst of a deadly firefight in Afghanistan in 2002, a 15-year-old Omar Khadr -- believing his death was at hand -- wanted to kill as many Americans as he could, jurors heard Tuesday as they prepared to pass sentence on the Canadian-born man newly convicted as a war criminal....The statement described how Khadr, with U.S. soldiers on his doorstep in Afghanistan, tossed the Russian-made F1 grenade from behind a wall, dealing a mortal head wound to Sgt. 1st Class Christopher Speer, who succumbed to his injuries 12 days later.
"Khadr threw the grenade with the specific intent of killing or injuring as many Americans as he could," Groharing said.
The Toronto-born Khadr, now 24, was holed up with other members of a terrorist cell in a compound that was coming under American attack. They made a "pact" that they would sooner die than surrender to their western enemies.
In the statement, Khadr -- who pleaded guilty to five war-crimes charges, including Speer's murder -- admitted to being "happy" at the news that he had killed an American soldier, and would take comfort in it while in custody at Bagram Air Base outside Kabul.
"Khadr indicated that when he would get 'pissed off' with the guards at Bagram, he would recall his killing of the U.S. soldier and it would make him feel good."...
"Khadr considered himself to be an active member of al-Qaida and he shared the same goals as the organization, which are to target and kill all Americans -- whether civilian or military -- anywhere they can be found, and to 'plunder their money,'" the statement read....
...Khadr was "cold and callous" and "almost bragging" when he discussed his role in killing Speer in 2002.

When I'm feeling blue—not that common an occurrence, but it happens to everyone from time to time—and I want to "feel good", I think about my loved ones and friends, about my work, about my achievements.
If I think about specific events, these might include weddings (especially my own), babies' births, holidays, other good times with those I love, travels, gallery openings, readings, publications, the day we bought our home, graduations, good surprises, meeting people I admire.
Somehow, murdering a man I had never met with a grenade has never made it onto my list. But then, I'm not a crazed Jihadist, wasting my life and the lives of innocent people "in the Way of Allah". That might have something to do with it.
They should put this slime in a leaky boat headed for Porkistan instead of wasting US and Canadian taxpayers' money in locking him up.
The sad thing about this is that it is so unsurprising. Islam is a sickness, it's not like any other major religion, and Khadr is only one of millions who either would do as he did or admire him for it and would do as he did if they could.
There is hardly an act of islamin cruelty, sadism, or oppression that would cause anyone who has been paying attention to bat an eye. I suppose that the press still can't figure out what motivates this guy.

Omar the little turd was never tortured. He wasn't the tortured when he deliberately tossed the grenade that killed the brave American medic Christopher Speers. It should be Speers who lived and not that "alquaeda family" member Omar Khadr (spit be upon him).
His family openly admitted that they hated Canada and were only here to take advantage of all the benefits of being a Canadian citizen were derived. (Omar's brother came back here after he was wounded in battle against the very country who took him in, to take full advantage of our generous medical system afforded such benefits)

And why is he still alive? Because we're soft. We fight wars to capture the enemy and put them on trial rather than fighting to eradicate them and win outright. This is but one of the debilitating consequences of political corectness and the feminization of our society. And history tells us what happens to civilizations which lose their determination to survive. They get annihilated by the determined and finish up as archaeological remains, to be unearthed centuries later. And that is the fate of our Western civilization, unless we grow a pair and do what our ancestors would have done to this enemy. Do we want our civilization to be turned into archaeological remnants to be unearthed sometime in the 30th century, perhaps by Chinese archaelologists after the Chinese did what we didn't have the courage to do? Or do we want it to survive into that century and beyond? What we do over the next 30 or 40 years will provide the answer to that question.

I **cannot get** what it is with Islam, and excrement. There's something deeply icky, and beyond icky, creepy, smacking of the occult and black magic rituals, about these kinds of stories.
Here's another case in which Muslims - from Albania, 'refugees' - who were not prisoners of an Infidel country, but *guests* generously treated, chose in response to literally spread sh*t everywhere in what one can only interpret as a sign of aggression and contempt.
