The hate speech trial of politician Geert Wilders has resumed with judges viewing his anti-Islam film "Fitna," which juxtaposes Koranic verses and images of violence, and offended many Muslims worldwide when it was released in 2008.
Of course, those Muslims were not offended when Islamic jihadists juxtaposed Qur'anic verses with violence by committing violent acts and justifying them by reference to those Qur'an verses.
Wilders is charged with inciting hatred against Muslims via "Fitna" and in dozens of public remarks comparing Islam to Fascism, calling for a ban on Muslim immigration and for a ban on the Koran. In one opinion piece he wrote "I've had enough of Islam in the Netherlands; let not one more Muslim immigrate," adding "I've had enough of the Koran in the Netherlands: Forbid that fascist book."Wilders argued on Monday that he has a right to freedom of speech and that his remarks were within the bounds of the law.
"I am a suspect here because I have expressed my opinion as a representative of the people," Wilders told judges at the start of the trial.
"Formally I'm on trial here today, but with me, the freedom of expression of many, many Dutch people is also being judged," he said, referring to more than 1.4 million voters who made his party the country's third-largest in June elections....
Indeed.
After viewing the film, if the justices don't immediately stand up and say "case dismissed", the fix is in and Mr. Wilders' nation is done for...... unless the people rise up and rid their country of pure evil filth.

Why don't the prosecutors just convert to Islam and offer sanctuary to Osama while trying to hire assassins to kill Geert and other Islamophobes?
That's the only way to truly appease the radicals, may as well go all the way to pleasing them!

I will confess, I don't understand the thinking of the prosecutors in this case. They don't put the Imams on trial for encouraging their flock to commit violence in defense of their faith.
But they indict a politician for exposing the Imams' behavior.

I had a real hard time watching it ( especially the scenes from 9/11 ), but it was a good reminder of what we're up against. Those scenes make me shudder in horror...
That Geerts " Trial ", even continues after the showing of this film even continues, defies sanity ( I'm surprised that it was even permitted to be shown ).
And to those whining Muslims who have the balls to complain about their " hurt feelings ", and who like to compare Islam to Christianity, and Judaism, take a long good look at what Mohammad brought to the world.
Don't talk about hurt feelings, and theological comparisons - watch those people jumping to their deaths from the World Trade Center, instead.

I just re-watched it.
Very effective - and, as Mr Spencer said when it first appeared, accurate.
It would, however, be useful a 'revised version', or an 'annotated version', which identifies specifically *during the movie, rather than in a general form in the credits* each of the Muslim sermons or speeches, excerpts from Muslim TV (e.g. the little girl who is being quizzed about why one must hate the Jooz) and Jihad videos, and news footage , which appear in conjunction with the Quranic passages.
For example: we see a brief clip of the hanging of a group of homosexuals. I'd appreciate a caption in white type crawling along the bottom of the screen, giving place, date, time, e.g. 'Location, Iran; year, month, day; execution of homosexuals in accord with [Quran and/ or Hadith instructions'. There's the beheading of a Western hostage and the execution of a woman in Afghanistan: again, I think it would have more impact if we knew the name of the hostage, who killed him, when, where, and for the woman, the date and place of the execution and why they were killing her.
