Backlash! Anti-Muslim hate crimes only eight percent of hate crimes, far less than those against Jews

The Hamas-linked Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) has claimed that "anti-Muslim hate crimes" have risen sharply in the U.S. since 9/11. In fact, the rate of such crimes has actually dropped, and as this new study shows, it is quite low compared to hate crimes against other groups. CAIR exaggerates the number and seriousness of hate crimes against Muslims because it knows that victimhood is big business: insofar as it can claim protected victim status for Muslims in the U.S., it can deflect unwanted scrutiny and any critical examination of how jihadists use Islamic texts and teachings to justify violence and supremacism.

That's most likely why CAIR and others have not hesitated to stoop even to fabricating "hate crimes." They want and need hate crimes against Muslims, because they can use them for political points and as weapons to intimidate people into remaining silent about the jihad threat.

Reality, however, is a consistent witness against CAIR.

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Blacks and Jews were the most likely victims of hate crimes driven by racial or religious intolerance in the United States last year, the FBI said Monday in an annual report.
Out of 6,604 hate crimes committed in the United States in 2009, some 4,000 were racially motivated and nearly 1,600 were driven by hatred for a particular religion, the FBI said.

Blacks made up around three-quarters of victims of the racially motivated hate crimes and Jews made up the same percentage of victims of anti-religious hate crimes, the report said.

Anti-Muslim crimes were a distant second to crimes against Jews, making up just eight percent of the hate crimes driven by religious intolerance....

muslim hate crime is so low, that muslilms have cause their own hate crimes! keep up the good work of letting the world know that muslims cannot have it both ways, play the victim and at the same time victimize others!

Of course, the largest category of victim isn't even officially recognized by the race/victim industry, even though all of it's literature is dominated by demonization and dispossession of that category known as "whites." I mean, give me a break. Rampant black on white crime is always racial, given the rants of Rev. Wright, and white on black crime only makes the news because the the "man bites dog" factor and the utility of it for leftists.
Oh, yeah, and forcing someone to practice a religion on threat of death is the most widely committed hate crime in the world--done almost exclusively by Muslims.

Where does the 'religious intolerance' statement come from? Interviewing the perpetrator or the victim? I'd be interested to know because most moslems I have met are awful people. They'd probably get beaten if they were hindu and behaved as they do.

hmmmm: 100 % - 8 % = 92 %.

I'm tempted to speculate that 92 percent of hate crimes driven by religious intolerance are committed by Muslims/Islamists/Jihadists.

I'm feeling grumpy today. Getting old does that to one.

I cannot help myself making the observation that were the vast majority of Muslims nice moderate easy going Hassans and Muhammuds like you and me (well, like you maybe - I'm more an Aisha sort of shape.)

So far, I observe, we have seen more than one sudden Jihadist for every nice regular guy sort of Muslim who came out to say this "hate" aspect of Islam is just plain wrong, Shariah law must not ever supplant US Constitutional law, and Kufars (Jews included) are mostly nice folks to know and have living next door or even marrying their daughters.

Maybe the real problem is that there are too few hate crimes against the Islamists. That's if there really is such a thing as a "hate crime". I see it all as "crime" that should be punished without ascribing hate as a motive other than as a tool for diagnosing who and what constitute our real enemies.

Islam is our mortal existential enemy. It is time for the MINOs, Muslim In Name Only, to identify themselves loudly, clearly, and unambiguously. If they don't, I fear for their lives. I'm seeing a tidal wave building of realization of this simple fact, even on the part of the BBC. That won't have to build very far before it overwhelms "nice" Muslims along with the bad ones.
