Namibian police have hindered a possible terrorist attack on a flight from Windhoek to Munich, Federal Criminal Police (BKA) said Thursday. A suspected explosive device was found in a piece of luggage discovered as the LTU/Air Berlin flight was being loaded.

As far as I can make out the enemy appear to be pursuing two strategies at the moment in relation to the USA and Europe: multiple cargo bombs, to disrupt air travel and trade, and Mumbai style attacks.

I dont think its the muslims to be blamed, but us, the non muslims.

They (muslim extremist) had attacked, conquered & made us slaves in many ways & it will continue in the future.

we tried to accommodate & we tried hard. It never works.

You see, muslims believe, in their heart, that if they fight you & you give in, they must be doing the right thing & that allah had blessed their actions.

Their success developed their confidence & it goes south from there.

However. Notice that no muslims would naturally align themselves to their country if they can align themselves to the muslim brothers or muslim nations first this naturally defining muslims as a 'race'.

And every race is a nation of its own. And every nation has its capital.

For muslims, their capital is mecca.

Muslims had never had their capital attacked by a non muslim nation since the birth of islam, making them cocky & proud.

Other religions & nations are humble today because they had been defeated, prosecuted and what not, making us to evolve to the new world. A good example would be the jews, and following the judaic laws is somehow like sharia which was what brought them down in the first place.

muslims on the other had had not have the similar defeat & therefore mentally, allah must be protecting them thus allowing them to create a parallel system amongst our society (where non muslims are 3rd class citizens)

perhaps its time that we stop saying enough in the net & in real life & start making threats of our own.

I believe a decent leader should prevent an attack by issuing threats that islams capital would be nuked (mecca) is theres a single attack in the country.

muslims deserve their fair share of humility by any means, civilized or not. And Il bet that would save a few million lives.

Well, I don't think a genocidal attack on Islam is any answer to anything but I do think TJwork has a point about Mecca not having been conquered by non-Muslim forces since Islam came on the scene.

I believe there is a fairly simple way to avoid Mumbai style enrichment. It is called Repatriation and Containment. Of course, the containment is within their own native sandpits.Allow none into Germany or even to overfly, after throwing them all out.

The bomb discovered in Namibia was a fake bomb made by an American company that provides these very realistic devices to law enforcement and U.S. federal agencies for training and conducting security checks. There were no actual explosives contained within the device but it is very realistic in every other way.

This still leaves two big questions. One, Who placed this device? Two, Why did they place the device?

If it was the U.S. conducting a security test (which is permitted by international law and done fairly routinely) but by now the U.S. agency that conducted the test would have already stepped forward - but they haven't. Another interesting point here is that the device was clearly marked with tags, as being a training device only. Despite this fact Namibia officials reported it as an actual bomb! Why?

Finally, the device could have fallen into unauthorized hands and it was used to conduct a "test run" but again why use such an obvious device?

I don't know much about the history of earthquakes in that region, but the Jordan River - Galilee - Dead Sea - Red Sea - African Great Lakes axis is the most important fault line for continental crust spreading. (Analogous to sea floor spreading, as happens along the Mid-Atlantic Ridge.) The main portion of Africa has been pulling apart from East Africa and the Mid-East for some time now, and someday will be entirely separate.

So I assume there could be some pretty big quakes on the Arabian west coast. If you go a little further north, to Greece and Asia Minor, you are definitely in a region legendary for its quakes.
