These days, with Sharia being relatively high-profile, it has become common for Islamic apologists and whitewashers to claim that Sharia is nowhere being properly implemented today, and in particular that Saudi Arabia and Iran are not actually Sharia states at all, despite their own claims. This is, of course, manifestly absurd. Stoning for adultery, to take just this present example, is a Sharia punishment taught by all the madhahib (schools of Islamic jurisprudence) and founded upon Muhammad's example as delineated by numerous ahadith. "Iran: Adulteress 'to be executed Wednesday,'" from AKI, November 2 (thanks to C. Cantoni):
Tehran, 2 Nov. (AKI) - An Iranian woman who was sentenced to death by stoning after being found guilty of adultery and helping kill her husband, will be executed on Wednesday, according to a statement by a group that opposes stoning in Iran."The Islamic regime of Iran plans to execute Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani immediately," said a statement on the International Committee Against Stoning (ICAS).
The group didn't give details on the method that will use to execute Ashtiani, but following an international campaign , Iran in July said a stoning sentence had been suspended.
Ashtiani was convicted of adultery in 2006 and according to human rights activists forced to confess after being subjected to 99 lashes. She later recanted that confession and has denied wrongdoing.
Ashtiani's son and lawyer have been arrested and tortured by Iranian authorities, ICAS has said.
For those of you who don't quite understand exactly how a stoning is carried out, here is a detailed yet non-graphic primer:

Amazing these barbarians are allowed to live with us in this day and age !!! Either these barbarians reform or else... time has come now!!1
"The Islamic regime of Iran plans to execute Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani immediately"...
But... but.. didn't Iran just win UN Women Right commission?..
American friends, please do the world a favor and vote out all of the apologists for Islam.
Remember how Obama&friends have done nothing for the Iranians eager to overthrow their theocracy back in the summer of 2009!
The Tea Party and the Republicans are far from ideal for me and any other science-loving true liberals out there that have gone "one god further" in our apostasy, but at least they understand Islam and stoning to them is not just an interesting cultural practice we should tolerate, but a grave moral transgression that shouldn't be allowed to continue.
The US must be one nation indivisible in its commitment towards Freedom and Human Rights, and the Freedom from Religion they entail by necessity. And the world needs that its Freedom from Islam be protected first and foremost.
Reuel Gerecht: Sharia really isn't all that bad
Would Reuel Gerecht like to comment on this one?
And then talk about how sharia isn't all that bad?
The sharia followers' world is a sick world.
In a civilised country all that can happen if a woman is proved an adulteress is that her husband may file for divorce.
Thats it.
And that is how it should be.
Again our MSM is not doing its duty to inform about divisive and destructive forces working against our Constitutional form of government. This is the sort of analysis & warning against the encroachment of Sharia our MSM should be taking up and it come ironically from the Canada Free Press:

"An Iranian woman who was sentenced to death by stoning after being found guilty of adultery and helping kill her husband..."
I didn't know this before: "helping kill her husband..."
That's serious...
Iran and SA arenot true Sharia state it is being use to ounish poor people instead of being apply equall to all. Plus the woman also help murder her5 hushand why is Islamoprobic Robert posted this fact. Like when He cridist Pakistan for senceing to death than bisexual an ingore the fact that he rape and murder over 100 boys and girls which justical his death sentence.
The murder charge is predictably suspicious as well:
And then...
But the bottom line is this: Stoning is cruel and unusual punishment.
Thank goodness sharia does not call for stoning for spelling mistakes. Or maybe it does....... Your excuses have been used before, please try to think up new taquiyya for future posts. There is nothing more trivial than a boring jihadi.
DefenderofIslam claims: "Iran and SA arenot true Sharia state ..."
Bwahahahahah...he's too funny! In Saudia Arabia nothing happens unless it goes throught the Shar'ia court system...
The Saudi Arabian legal system in 1992 was based on the sharia, or Islamic law. The sharia was applied throughout the kingdom in strict accordance with the interpretation of the Hanbali school of Sunni Islam. Because pious Muslims believed that the sharia was sacred law, they accepted as judges, or qadis, only men who had spent a number of years studying the accepted sources of the sharia: the Quran and the authenticated traditions (hadith) of the Prophet Muhammad's rulings and practices. Historically, the decisions of qadis were subject to review by the ruler, whose primary role was to ensure that the Islamic community lived in conformity with the sharia. In effect, the judiciary was not an independent institution but an extension of the political authority. This traditional relationship between qadis and the king still prevailed in Saudi Arabia.
The Ministry of Justice, established by King Faisal in 1970, was responsible for administering the country's more than 300 sharia courts. The minister of justice, appointed by the king from among the country's most senior ulama, was the de facto chief justice. He was assisted by the Supreme Judicial Council, a body of eleven members chosen from the leading ulama. The Supreme Judicial Council supervised the work of the courts, reviewed all legal decisions referred to it by the minister of justice, expressed legal opinions on judicial questions, and approved all sentences of death, amputation (of fingers and hands as punishment for theft), and stoning (for adultery). Since 1983, the minister of justice has also served as chief of the Supreme Judicial Council, a position that further enhanced his status as chief justice.
Sharia courts included courts of first instance and appeals courts. Minor civil and criminal cases were adjudicated in the summary courts of first instance. One kind of summary court dealt exclusively with beduin affairs. A single qadi presided over all summary court hearings. The general courts of first instance handled all cases beyond the jurisdiction of the summary courts. One judge usually presided over cases in the general courts, but three qadis sat in judgment for serious crimes such as murder, major theft, or sexual misconduct.
Decisions of the summary and general courts could be appealed to the sharia appeals court. The appeals court, or court of cassation, had three departments: penal suits, personal status suits, and all other types of suits. The appeals had two seats, one in Riyadh and one in Mecca. The chief justice and a panel of several qadis presided over all cases. The king was at the pinnacle of the judicial system, functioning as a final court of appeal and as a source of pardon.
Saudi Arabia's judicial code stipulated that specialized courts may be established by royal decree to deal with infractions of government regulations not covered by the sharia. Since the reign of Abd al Aziz, kings have created various secular tribunals outside of the sharia court system to deal with violations of administrative rules. The Grievances Board, for example, operated under the authority of the Bureau of the Presidency of the Council of Ministers. It reviewed complaints of improper behavior brought against both government officials and qadis. The Ministry of Interior was in charge of the special police who enforced motor vehicle regulations. The Ministry of Commerce supervised arbitration and appeals boards established to settle commercial disputes, especially those involving foreign businesses. Decrees pertaining to labor were enforced by special committees within the Ministry of Labor and Social Affairs.
The question is, how do we ask the American military to fight and possibly die for the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan when that same Islamic Republic of Afghanistan's government is unabashedly in Iran's pocket even as Iran is simultaneously training Taliban fighters to bring it down?
-- Diana West on the IR of Afghan's colluion with the IR of Iran
All nations in Dar al-Islam are fake countries. That's why they call it the Country of Islam, after all. The U.S. & U.K. gubmints are staggering, like a stoned teen in the Hall of Mirrors at a carnival, from one Moslem "nation state" leader to the next, offloading taxpayer cash, taking it up the yin-yang, and botching their sworn duty for bad reasons.
They're all in this together, these Moslem leaders, and they've made great progress since 9/11. Moving the ball down the field, so to speak.

So, this Persian gal who's about to be stoned to death, she's got both feet embedded deep into the earth of Dar al-Islam. But the feminists back here have about a half a foot there. Pussies.

"Sharia not being properly implemented"
"Yeah, and the Kufir are not being persecuted in Islamic nations either! Isreal should not shoot back at the palastinians! have UN to deal with it, after, all what's the rush? No, don't bother looking for facts, trust me. I'm a muslim after all!"
Suuuure. (This is paraphrase of what a muslim actually told me (Remember szri?), a Malaysian who is aparently not aware of the persecution of the Kafir in his OWN COUNTRY.)
"Plus the woman also help murder her5 hushand (sic) why is Islamoprobic Robert posted this fact."
Islamoprobic? During prayers? Maybe when a mosque beings to lose followers, an enlarged apostate is to blame.
You've said it well. As long as Sharia exists, the legal system of any Sharia dominant country will be suspect.
Learn at least the rudiments of English spelling before you comment, you little primitive. We don't need to waste are time trying to figure out what you are yammering about this time. You do not have the right to murder anyone for "adultery", you little Allah-ridden, Mohammed's buttskissing savage.
Sharia is invalid as law because it is based on superstition and delusion. The "man-made" law that little bower-scrapers to Allah such as you despise is the only legitimate form of law for a nation because it is rooted in reason.
There are "Outlaw Sharia" and "No Sharia" type bumper stickers available. I have one on the back of my car and am occasionally asked what the hell is Sharia. This provides an Educational Opportunity and is a Good Thing. I recommend it.
Earlier I sent a letter tot the Embassador of Iran in the Netherlands, asking him to do his utmost to prevent that the life of this poor woman should be taken in such a cruel and inhuman way.
Alas, this Embassador did not even answer.
Then I sent a letter to Mrs. Sakineh Ashtiani herself,to this prison where they are keeping her, to give her encouragement and to let her know, that people all over the world are thinking of her.
Now it looks like evil is going to win.
I can only ask everyone of you, who is a believer in the God of Israel and in His Son, Jesus Christ, to start praying for Sakineh.
Pray that the Lord will let her know and experience that He is with her and that He'll pull her through this ordeal, that His angels will surround her and carry her and give her peace and bring her to this Place, where no one can touch and hurt and frighten her, where all tears will stop and there is joy for ever more.

"...helping kill her husband"
Many countries have a death penalty for that one, don't they?
"But the bottom line is this: Stoning is cruel and unusual punishment."
So is shooting, hanging, electrocution, lethal injection... the list goes on.
Yeah, unless she kills him first...what then?
In the good old US of A she files a "I was a victim protecting myself" case and puts the dead husband on trial, garners sympathy from the jury and judge, and, instead of trying her for murder, they try the husband for bringing about his own death.
Go figure?
Behold one of our latest Mohammedtrolls, busy trying to throw sand, and engaging in the tu quoque fallacy (how boring: EVERY Mohammedtroll we've ever had in this forum, uses tu quoque).
As far as I am concerned, the 'murder' charge against this woman looks a helluva lot like it's a fake and an afterthought: an 'add on' cooked up for external consumption, once the Iranians realized that an awful lot of non-Muslim countries out there think that stoning a woman on a charge of adultery (and who knows whether she committed adultery, even? it's the word of the two men - who murdered her husband - against hers?) is barbaric.
The Iranians want to kill her dead, and they don't want to be criticised for it, so they turned round and said, oh, see, by the way, she's an accomplice to murder, too! Because they know non-Muslim countries don't regard adultery - whether she in fact did even that, or not, is anybody's guess - as a crime requiring execution, whereas they know many non-Muslim countries do have a death penalty for murder.
I'm not an American; my country doesn't have the death penalty.
But being accused of a crime punishable by death, in the USA, is very different from being accused of a crime punishable by death, in the misogynistic barbaric sharia-addled Islamic Republic of Iran.
In the USA, every imaginable precaution is generally taken to determine whether the person accused of murder did in fact do what he or she is accused/ suspected of having done.
I very much doubt whether forensic and legal procedures in Iran - where female prisoners are routinely raped by their jailers, and male prisoners also, and where you can get arrested and thrown into prison and tortured, merely for holding a Christian prayer meeting in your house - involve anything like the same degree of forensic accuracy as in the USA.
Mistakes do get made even in the US system. I'll bet my bottom dollar that not only mistakes (due to inshallah fatalism and the brain-numbing effects of Islam) but outright, flagrant, deliberate perversions of justice - malicious accusation, and *framing* of innocent people - take place every damned day in the Islamic Republic of Iran. They certainly seem to be rife in every other part of dar al Islam.
I watched a video of a woman being stoned to death today. It was the most horrific, gruesome thing I have ever seen in my life. Then I watched another video of a man being decapitated while he was still alive. It's hard for me to imagine a culture that produces the kind of person who participates in and even enjoys these grisly human executions. It makes me want to deport every Muslim out of this country. what they do is so barbaric, every man woman and child on earth should be aware of the type of beasts we are at war with. The participants were laughing, smiling and joking during the whole thing.
Compare this to the prescient wisdom of the Jewish halachah which, nearly two thousand years before the ban on self-incrimination was enshrined in the secular American national constitution, banned conviction based on self-incrimination:
http://www.jlaw.com/Summary/self.html
http://www.rhr-na.org/files/no%20self%20incrimination_0.pdf
Our dear Imam Rauf got it all wrong: The sharia not only allows self-incrimination, it allows self-incrimination as the result of TORTURE!
I can not think of a system more in conflict with our hard-wond and constitutionally-guaranteed principles of liberty, freedom and justice than the shariah paradigm offered us by
"the religion of peace."
Can I employ the expression "religion of peace." or do I run the risk of being sued for copyright infringement?
PLEASE, do not employe such crap "reasoning" by stating "It is being used to punish poor people."
The very institution of diya (blood money) is just ONE way among many in which Islamic sharia law SCREWS the poor and oppressed. Those who have cash can buy their way out of justice, while those without it have to pay the proverbial piper:
http://www.iran-bulletin.org/political_islam/punishmnt.html
Sexual and religious APARTHEID are enshrined in the criminal teachings of Islam, from the days of its misogynistic and bigoted founder MUHAMMED to this very day.
You claims are given the lie by a veritable sea of ahadith, Quranic tafsir, texts of later Islamic sharia law, legal decisions, and the very existence of UNJUST and PERVERTED laws that hold sway wherever Muslims and their injustice-tainted system rule.
The difference is - hanging, lethal injections etc are used on murderers here, not people tried on trumped up charges of adultery, blockhead.
Now get back to Pakistan, savage.
Here are 5 things you can do to help her:
1) Contact your State Department or Foreign Ministry with the following message:
I demand that this government exert the utmost diplomatic pressure on the Islamic Republic of Iran to:
a) prevent the execution of Sakineh Ashtiani
b) secure the immediate and unconditional freedom of Sakineh Ashtiani, Sajjad Ghaderzadeh, and Houtan Kian.
Sincerely,
[your name]

2) Contact Bernard Kouchner, the Foreign Minister of France (bernard.kouchner@diplomatie.gouv.fr), with the following message asking France to be the first to close the doors to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic in France:
Dear Mr. Kouchner,
It has come to my attention that the Islamic Republic intends to execute Sakineh Ashtiani within the next two days. If the Islamic Republic executes Sakineh Ashtiani, I urge the French government to close the doors to the Embassy of the Islamic Republic of Iran in France. The honorable people of France, and in particular the women of France, have shown their broad and consistent support for Sakineh Ashtiani and her family; Carla Bruni Sarkozy has publicly advocated in Sakineh's defense, and drawn a slanderous response from the Islamic regime for doing so; and France's President Sarkozy has taken it as his personal duty to defend Sakineh Ashtiani. France should take the international lead in closing the regime's embassy in Paris. It is the only appropriate diplomatic response to the Islamic Republic regime's ongoing perpetration of human rights atrocities.
Sincerely,
[your name]
3) Send this sample letter to UN Secretary General Ban Ki-Moon and UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Navi Pillay, and encourage everyone you know to do the same. [ SAMPLE LETTER ] Contact addresses to send to: inquiries@un.org, npillay@ohchr.org, urgent-action@ohchr.org
4) Mobilize to protest at the United Nations in New York City on December 11 to
a) demand a UN resolution to criminalize stoning, and
b) to demand immediate expulsion from the UN Commission on the Status of Women of the Islamic Republic of Iran and all other states whose authority is dependent on gender apartheid and violence against women.
If Sakineh is executed, the UN will be held responsible for its refusal to act or even issue a strong statement against the stoning of Sakineh Ashtiani.
5) If the Islamic Republic executes Sakineh Ashtiani, regardless of how they implement the murder, people living near offices and embassies of the Islamic Republic should immediately deposit a pile of stones (painted red if possible) in front of the door or gate to the regime's office or embassy. If feasible, tape photos and/or posters of Sakineh to the doors, windows, gates, etc.

ICAS/E Press Release #85: The Islamic Republic Intends to Execute Sakineh Immediately
According to the news received by the International Committees against Execution and Stoning this evening, November 1st, the Islamic regime's officials in Tehran have sent the order to implement Sakineh Mohammadi Ashtiani's execution sentence to the office of sentence implementation at Tabriz prison. It has been said that they mean to execute Sakineh on Wednesday, November 3rd.
We have previously reported that the regime has stolen the murder files of Sakineh Mohammadi's husband from the office of Houtan Kian and from the court of the city of Oskoo in order to make the necessary fabrications that would show Sakineh as being guilty. Sajjad and Houtan had warned about this eventuality many times. With the arrest of Sakineh's lawyer and her son, and holding Sakineh herself incommunicado, on the one hand, and by tampering with the case files on the other, the Islamic Republic's "human rights" entity has declared in a press release that "according to existing documents, Mrs. Ashtiani's guilt is proven." Indeed, [despite their best efforts,] the Islamic Republic has created a whole scenario against Sakineh's execution.
We call on all concerned international organizations and people of the world to do all they can to prevent the killing of Sakineh. Sakineh, Sajjad, Houtan Kian and the two German journalists should be freed immediately and unconditionally.

"murder"
The world will soon be on it's knees awaiting our own death from islamic filth. when a mind is sick it must know it first before it can start healing. Obama has a sick mind and hides his identity while waiting for his islamic brothers to gain supremacy over the west which they are doing every day.
"Vulcan" Priest in the Church of the Poisoned Mind!
You may of course sympathize with the billions that wish to kill and control. At least admit that you wait for the time you can receive your "booty".
I sympathyze with no evil.
"Islamoprobic" I like that. Short for "probing islam".
I do hope this poor woman is saved.
What I really cannot understand is why we are not allowed to talk about these things which are done in the name of Islam.
Why are we called racists or homophobes or other epithets if we tell the truth about islam?
Why do the Left, in particular, protect and support people who do this?
Would the Left support an English person who got together with a group of others to pass judgement on their fellows and dish out punishments like hand amputations for stealing, throwing from a cliff or hanging a homosexual or burying a raped girl and stoning her to death for the crime?
I do not believe anybody should be violent or nasty to anybody else but why do the Left crawl to people who do these things?
Looks like our old fried Michael MacKay aka Abdullah Mikail just couldn't stay away.
Nohopehammerhead, its time savage infidel-hating semiliterate barbarian parasites like yourself were kicked out of the West. Why are you so angry? Has your goat turned you down or something? Dumbass.
Neither do I. I hatre evil and that is why you need sending back to Pakistan, barbaric dullard.
