It's my impression that there's an inordinate amount of Somali induced terror plots against us, as most of us know. The American public deserves a detailed , transparent analysis of the refugee flow from Somalia to the US over the past 20-25 years. How many? Where are they settled ? How many have brought in relatives via chain migration ? What has been the cost of the attendant social services ? Are any non-Muslim ? What are the associated crime stats? Which group/which person(s) at the State Dept. is in charge of facilitating this flow ? Are there any true "success stories" that can be cited for the Somali refugees ? What is the purpose of Somali refugee resettlement and how is it helping my country? I want names in the State Dept. so that my Congressman can be induced to perform an appropriate investigation. If State can't be moved to stop this nefarious resettlement program, then it should be raised to the level of a Presidential campaign issue.

This is yet another incident that makes you question the sanity of governments in the western world who admit Muslims as immigrants. Fact is, we cannot tell those who would do us harm from those who just want a better life. The only solution is to slam the door shut on all of them. No more Muslim immigrants!

The Oregonian reported that "A Corvallis man, thinking he was going to ignite a bomb, drove a van to the corner of the square at Southwest Yamhill Street and Sixth Avenue and attempted to detonate it."

IMO such naturalized citizens convicted of terrorism (even failed attempts) should have their citizenship revoked and declared an enemy combatant and treated accordingly. Our Congress should be passing tougher laws for terrorists and stop pussyfooting about the problem.

I read some of the comments posted at MSN and you wouldn't believe the number of people who adamantly refuse to admit that islam and muslims are serious problems. It is surreal! Their rationale is usually based on the muslim claim that there are 1.5 billion muslims and they couldn't all be violent, but none of the apologists explain why so many muslims commit or attempt to commit terrorist attacks. It's as if this is a perfectly normal situation, to be expected, and unworthy of concern.
