UK: Muslim protestors disrupt Armistice Day commemoration: "British soldiers burn in hell," "Islam will dominate"

Where are the "moderate" Muslims standing with the British and commemorating Armistice Day? "Poppy-burning Muslim protesters mar Armistice Day commemorations as millions fall silent to remember war dead," from the Daily Mail, November 11 (thanks to Billy):

Islamic protesters sparked fury today after they burned a model of a poppy and deliberately broke the silence at Armistice Day commemorations in central London.

As millions of Britons fell silent to remember those who have died in war, members of a group called Muslims Against Crusades clashed with police during an 'emergency demonstration' in Kensington, west London.

As the clock struck 11am, the Islamic protesters burned a model of a poppy and chanted 'British soldiers burn in hell'.

They held banners which read 'Islam will dominate' and 'Our dead are in paradise, your dead are in hell'.

The Muslims Against Crusades website includes graphic images of children wounded in warfare and the torture of detainees at Abu Ghraib.

The protest, in Exhibition Road, near Hyde Park, involved about 50 people while about another 50 counter-demonstrators had to be kept apart from the group by a line of police....

British police need to crack down on these islamists! enough of these traitors, deport them!

Muslims' loyalty to their imaginary brotherhood (known as The Ummah) trumps and overrides all other loyalties and obligations, including any loyalty to their country of residence. They truly are 'the enemy within': http://crombouke.blogspot.com/2010/01/brothers-and-sisters-in-islam-muslim.html

I wonder how many of these Muslim protesters, are immigrants ?

And how many of them are on the public dole ?

I wonder also, where are the multi cultural politicos ?

Lots of questions, but no answers..

Well, the mussies do it also here in Israel, in the holocaust day. They really like shouting, beating people up and ruining ceremonies in remembrance of the 6 millions who died...
and that is (one of the many reasons) why Islam is evil...

Although small in number, the pressure these flareheads can bring to bear within Muslin enclaves is the iceberg itself.

Speaking of Armistice/Veterans Day, Check out today's "Crescent Flag" Google logo...

But keep in mind it is we Islamophobes that stigmatize Muslims and cause rising distrust. Do I really need to add the sarcasm tag?

They were well away from the Cenotaph and only punctured the air around them. Despicable cretins? YES. Do we want or need their 'respect'? NO. -

I'm more concerned that the lads in the EDL counter demo observed the silence when it mattered. These Muslim degenerates do this strictly for publicity - a counter demo is exactly what they and the media want. It should have been left to the police to handle and observed by the EDL with a dignified silence - what great publicity that would have been.

There are more ways of killing a cat than sticking a poker up its arse.

"The protest, in Exhibition Road, near Hyde Park, involved about 50 people while about another 50 counter-demonstrators had to be kept apart from the group by a line of police...."

They should have carried photos of honor killing victims, photos of blasted rubble of embassies, photos of burned out churches and the burnt bodies of the Christians inside, photos of the numerous blasted airplanes, photos of Muslims attacking cars, stores, people, boats, trains, buses, the bodies of barbers killed because they told a joke, bicycle ice-cream vendors, the body of a 9 yr old Christian boy who was slain because he picked up a Qur'an that had fallen off a motorbike and he tried to return it to the owner (the owner, a Muslim, promptly shot the boy dead), photos of the Muslims hanging gays, stoning women, executing numerous other people for alleged crimes, they should should the photos of the Muslims crowds watching and cheering such activities, they should carry signs which gives quotes frome the Qur'an to show what Muslims are saying about non Muslims, .....there are so many things they could show...the crowd should be much larger than 50 informed souls...

The protest, in Exhibition Road, near Hyde Park, involved about 50 people while about another 50 counter-demonstrators had to be kept apart from the group by a line of police....

the police had their back turned to the wrong people...the police should have focused their attention on the Muslims to keep them from attacking..

Thank you English Defense League.

CBS News had a report this AM about a student protest in London yesterday (protesting tuition increases) that turned way violent. The student leaders said the violence was by "outside groups" not associated with the protest organizers. No specifics were given, and England, like the continent has its share of hooligans and anarchists who never miss a chance to break stuff under any pretext, but......

Inquiring minds want to know just who turned violent there....

That's just the tail of the last "e" in "Google" - let's keep our paranoia in check a little at least.

Do to them what they did to the food rioters in "Soylent Green"-send in the scoop trucks and cart this riffraff away.

"...a group called Muslims Against Crusades clashed with police during an 'emergency demonstration' in Kensington, west London." -- from the article

"Muslims Against Crusades"? In West London?

The Muslims seem intent on pursuing what they view as payback for events that occurred in their manufactured and artificial history of the Crusades. That rumbling sound you hear is the various dispersed remnants of Richard the Lionheart attempting to reunite and spring forth to lead the defense of England. Where are those who will come to his aid?

Please, tell me again why UK officials can not deport these people at a minimum and/or charge them with treason or espionage? They are obviously not in the UK for culture and country. I just don't get how it came to be that countries can not fight for themselves and rid the community of miscreants hellbent on overtaking the UK.

My favorite is the "Allah is our protector and you have no protector" sign. Somehow, Allah dumps most on Muslims. But other than the British police protecting these vile haters of everything British (except Sharia) and who are so disrespectful for all Brits who died in wars to defend England, it is the English Defense League who is arrested and led away, not the Muslim protesters. Maybe they are right, in England, Allah protects them after all, thanks to multiculti-tolerance at any cost policies. Sick!!

Rue Britannia...

'Our dead are in paradise, your dead are in hell'

If these bulging-eyed, frothing-at-the-mouth, moustache-a-phobic supremacists really believe this, why are they so upset?

I will henceforth be wearing my poppy with value-added pride.

Because they were likely born in the UK. truly the "enemy within"

Because they were likely born in the UK. truly the "enemy within"

Which is why I said charge them with Treason. There must be a point where free speech laws turns into downright sedition and/or treason. I don't care if there are citizens or not, there allegiance is clearly not with the UK. It seems to me these folks have crossed a line were action must be taken (or they will surrender all hope for any future).

Well done EDL for daring to stick up for our values when our politicians won't.

How absolutely divergent from what I witnessed today. I just returned from the national war memorial in Ottawa, Canada, for Rememberance Day ceremonies, where it is estimated that 30,000 people attended. I was a little late arriving for the 11:00am minute of silence, but EVERYBODY, including homeless people, stopped in their tracks at 11am and bowed their heads in rememberance of the 160,000 soldiers we have lost in WWI, WWII, Korea, Afghanistan, and other conflicts.

There was a 21-gun salute and fly-bys from the Canadian air force, as well as by a couple of Spitfires, which were so important, against overwhelming odds, in protecting Britain from the Luftwaffe in WWII. EVERYBODY wore a poppy, and after the ceremony people were invited to drop their poppies on the grave of the unknown soldier.

It was a very moving ceremony, and made me realize, simply by witnessing the vast number of people who attended, what it really means to be Canadian, and what the brave women and men of the Canadian armed forces, AND the armed forces of free countries around the world, have sacrificed to ensure that we can live with freedom, human rights, and respect for one another.

That these sick, twisted, ignorant, mysoginist, supremacist idiots would desecrate such a poignant ceremony only solidifies my determination to rid our respective countries of this scourge of humanity that goes by the name of Islam.

Today, Ima proud Canadian!

Pretty well all on both counts I'd guess. Also pretty well all associated with Anjem Choudhary.
My BEST guess is that they include those "protesting" in Luton when the Anglian Regiment exercised their right to march because of "Freedom of the City". How I wish they'd marched with mounted bayonets and used them.
They were also present for the trial of the attempted murderess of Stephen Timms. In fact these work-shy benefit cheats can be anywhere needed. They are certainly not available for work - one of the conditions for benefit.

I'm a peaceful bloke but I'm old so MY preservation doesn't much matter anymore.
If the authorities don't deal with these people pretty damned soon then I may well might.
How many could I permanently take out I wonder. ALL i would want is that people were standing by with pigskins to show the morons that they would never get to their supernatural paradise with 72 perpetual virgins because they'd been in contact with a PIG. Actually a cleaner animal (left to it's own devices) than any Muslim. Says it all.

How many of the muslims burning the poppy today were arrested............Not any, How much coverage did the tv news channals give the story, not much. Good job our tabloids have took the lead and given the story a front page slot. Maybe the papers can keep pushing the story for a couple of days, as it shows how radical the muslims in this country are becoming, and it show,d that the bulls*** written about the EDL being a bunch of rightwing rascists... IS BULLSHIT

Having had the best part of 48 hours notice that this grave-spitting display of disrespect was coming down the tube, it baffles me that the mustachioed chappies at the Muslim Council of GB didn't raise a hullabaloo and a troop of 'moderates' to march to Exhibition Rd and put their peers in place. . .would have been a nice bit of PR, but why bother with social cohesion when you're busy making more money pulling a tooth than a rickshaw.

The hatefulness tells you all you need to know about the Islamist protesters. I still remember Churchill -- "We will never surrender!"

When you wrote " In fact, when these work shy benefits cheats can be anywhere needed ", you really struck a cord.

These ungrateful SOBs should be sent back from where they came from..

It staggers my imagination of how ungrateful they are..

And sponging off of the British taxpayers, while " protesting ", and not looking for jobs, amounts to theft.

How even the most politically correct politicians allow this vermin, to steal from the public and spit on the memories of the British soldiers who gave their lives defending freedom, staggers my mind even further.

Here's a picture of this repulsive display, including the signs "British soldiers burn in *Hell*" and "Allah is our protector and you have no protector".

Somehow this last sounds more like a threat, and less like Muslims being a bit smug about natural disasters and traffic accidents.

Contrast this image with last year's Armistice Day, where actual Britons observe the moment of silence:

http://i.dailymail.co.uk/i/pix/2009/11/11/article-1226841-072C8360000005DC-519_634x348_popup.jpg

Whites. blacks, old people, even fidgety children—everyone is respectful.

The only concept of "honor" among muslims would appear to be "honor-killing".

Soldiers are known to allow an honorable funeral even to enemy soldiers. A wrong or immoral war can and should be protested. But there isn't anything like a "wrong soldier"! Soldier or not, the dead need to be respected.

Islam and its followers run an exclusive "travel agency" that sells tickets to hell. Fortunately, no one's buying except the muslims. Soldiers, British and others, have tickets to better places.

Well said, when you said that freedom of speech must somewhere have a border, which can be crossed, with treason and sedition.

There was a video of MAC (Muslims Against Crusaders) on Atlas. And Abu Ubaida in it clearly said how he despised our Democratic laws and values. And of course Muslims like him advocate their so-called Divine laws and values to supersede them. This is what countries like Iran and Saudi Arabia and many of the 56 countries of the OIC also openly or secretly endorse. At the same time being openly or secretly hostile to all or many or the most important Democratic Nations.

Even if these MAC-protestors seem pretty harmless; their intention is explicit ANTI-DEMOCRATIC. Democratic laws and values, in big part originating from the 18th century, which have since beautifully evolved, are clearly rejected. Basically by people stuck with 7th century Islamic ideals.

This intention should be seen as treason and thus it's propagation as sedition. Because it is so fundamentally hostile to our whole system. To begin with against our Freedom of Speech. Which they claim as a right for themselves but which they for sure would NOT give to others, and NOT to opponents with even the slightest opposition against Islam.

Our response to these MAC-people and all Muslims all hinges on a proper evaluation of the Islamic holy texts, the declarations of its most respected scholars and leaders, and its interpretation by all 1 1/2 billion adherents.

Especially at places where they DO have majority and power. An evaluation based on its compatibility or lack thereof with our cherished Democratic laws and values.

Keep Australia Beautiful - keep these crazy bastards out.
Europe and the UK can have them .... suckers for allowing them in.
What a bunch of misfits - and who said multiculturalism works. We sure as hell know that Angela Murkel got it right.

I have a cinematic postcard for the Muslims who choose to interrupt Britain’s Armistice Day. It’s interesting that while they tear their hair out over cartoons of Mohammad and the lack of “respect” they claim should be accorded their creed, they don’t mind defiling Western values and insulting non-believers at the drop of a turban.

Well, here’s what they should keep in mind when they start chanting and carrying signs that read, “To hell with freedom of speech” and “Behead all insulters of Mohammad.” They should remember the jihadists in North Africa in the 1880’s and 1890’s, and their decisive defeat at Omdurman in September 1898. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ztQ9dvBY-OM.

The postcard would read, “Those who live by the sword, will die by the sword.”

Muslim World - do you know what Armistice Day is all about. If you don't you'd better find out quickly, because just some day someone might say - enough is enough: "We will never surrender", and you have not the faintest idea what that means or the sheer hell that will break loose when thinking Westerners echo those words, and act accordingly!

So a bone of contention is the Muslim deaths in our current Iraq & Afghanistan conflicts---and those were ALL carried out by American, British, Polish etc. soldiers? NONE of them was caused by Muslim groups, suicide bombers, etc?

And London Jim is exactly right--where WERE all the "moderate Muslims" in this mix? Didn't see any in either group. Where do they stand? Why are they so afraid of expressing disgust at the protesters?

The Muslims like to ruin other people's sacred events. It shows their hatred and inability to empathize with anyone but other Muslims who are just like themselves. This is why Richard Reid tried to blow up a plane on Christmas, why Hindus in Kashmir are attacked during pilgrimages, and why Muslims disrupted the sacred stillness of Yom Kippur with loud horn-honking and yelling in a town in northern Israel a few months ago. They themselves however, as we all know, take offense at the tiniest things, rampaging at the drop of a hat. Is the world so lacking in dignity and justice that these thugs are allowed with impunity their bullying year after year. It will only get worse.

Jail them, deport them, execute them when they kill. Leaders, where are you? Arise! Speak up. Do something!

I still don't know why these radical Muslims who want to emulate their fearless leader, the pedophile, don't emulate him by living in the desert humping camels.

I still don't know why these radical Muslims who want to emulate their fearless leader, the pedophile, don't emulate him by living in the desert humping camels.

I still don't know why these radical Muslims who want to emulate their fearless leader, the pedophile, don't emulate him by living in the desert humping camels.

I still don't know why these radical Muslims who want to emulate their fearless leader, the pedophile, don't emulate him by living in the desert humping camels.

We can take some comfort from the thought that the actions of these mindless Muslim lunatics will increase the level of Islamophobia in the U.K. Who knows, it might even make some of our Members of Parliament open their politically correct eyes.

Skeen

here's another cinematic postcard for you.

It refers to the historic charge of the Australian Light Horse at Beersheba in 1917, which took the town.

This clip is from a documentary/ TV series called 'the lighthorsemen'.

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vvjE3h0Ahz8&feature=related

Here is an account of the actual charge and battle by Australian Lighthorseman Ion L Idriess, from his book 'The Desert Column'. He was not in that particular charge, but he watched it take place, from nearby.

BEERSHEBA, November 1917: from Ion L Idriess, The Desert Column, p. 251.

“Then someone shouted, pointing through the sunset towards invisible headquarters. There, at the steady trot, was regiment after regiment, squadron after squadron, coming, coming, coming! It was just half-light, they were distinct yet indistinct. The Turkish guns blazed at those hazy horsemen, but they came steadily on.

“At two miles distant they emerged from clouds of dust, squadrons of men and horses taking shape. All the Turkish guns around Beersheba must have been directed at the menace then.

"Captured Turkish and German officers have told us that even then they never dreamed that mounted troops would be madmen enough to attempt rushing infantry redoubts protected by machine guns and artillery.

“At a mile distant their thousand hooves were stuttering thunder, coming at a rate that frightened a man – they were an awe-inspiring sight, galloping through the red haze – knee to knee and horse to horse – the dying sun glinting on bayonet points. Machine guns and rifle fire just roared, but the 4th Brigade galloped on.

“We heard shouts among the thundering horses, saw balls of flame amongst those hooves – horse after horse crashed, but the massed squadrons thundered on.

:We laughed in delight when the shells began bursting/ 252/ behind them telling that that the gunners could not keep their range, then suddenly the men ceased to fall and we knew instinctively that the Turkish infantry, wild with excitement and fear, had forgotten to lower their rifle sights and the bullets were flying overhead. The Turks did the same to us at El Quatia.

“The last half mile was a berserk gallop with the squadrons in magnificent line, a heart-throbbing sight as they plunged up the slope, the horses leaping the redoubt trenches – my glasses showed me the Turkish bayonets thrusting up for the bellies of the horses – one regiment flung themselves from the saddle – we heard the mad shouts as the men jumped down into the trenches, a following regiment thundered over another redoubt, and to a triumphant roar of voices and hooves was galloping down the half-mile slope right into the town.

“Then came a whirlwind of movement from all over the field, galloping batteries – dense dust from mounting regiments – a rush as troops poured for the opening in the gathering dark – mad, mad excitement – terrific explosions from down in the town.

“Beersheba had fallen.”

(Note: it is possible to argue that with that fall of Beersheba came the beginning of the end of Turkish Muslim rule, and of Muslim occupation and domination of the Holy Land.

What prayers of hundreds of thousands of persecuted, exploited, raped, and mass-murdered dhimmis, Jews and Christians and Samaritans from down those dreadful centuries of Muslim rule, what cries for justice over the centuries, what angry ghosts, what avenging angels, rode on the shoulders of the Australians, tipping the balance of battle that day? Who knows?)

Here's a different account, by a proud Aussie-reared Jew, now resident in Israel.

http://www.uniqueideas.biz/ZFA/pulse51/13.htm

'Forty Thousand Horsemen and Us'.

(Scroll down to the heading 'The Battle of Beersheba' and start reading.

'General Henry Chauvel, the first Australian to receive command of an army corps, (and if his name sounds familiar it’s because his nephew Charles Chauvel directed that Chips Rafferty classic - Forty Thousand Horsemen) had planned to make a dismounted attack on Beersheba, but now he was out of time.

'The alternative was to make a cavalry charge.

' He had two brigades in reserve to the south-west of the town, the Australian 4th Light Horse Brigade and the British 5th Mounted Brigade. The British brigade was a proper cavalry brigade, armed with swords; however the light horse brigade was closer to the town. With time running out Chauvel chose the Australian 4th Light Horse.

'This charge is disputably considered the last successful cavalry charge in history.

'But the Australian light horsemen weren’t actually cavalry but rather infantry soldiers who primarily fought dismounted and used their Waler horses to carry their arms and supplies to the battle front or to make a quick retreat. Not surprisingly they were superb riders and were quickly rounded up and organised to make a charge that would turn the tide of history in the Middle East.

'Two regiments commenced the charge at 4.30pm, the 12th on the left and the 4th on the right. They moved off at the trot, gradually fanning out until there was five yards between each horseman.
Trooper Elliot acting as range-finder for artillery had crept to a hillock within two miles of Beersheba.

“It was the bravest, most awe inspiring sight I've ever witnessed, and they were. . . yelling, swearing and shouting. There were more than 500 Aussie horsemen . . . As they thundered past my hair stood on end. The boys were wild-eyed and yelling their heads off”.

'Speed and surprise were their one chance, and almost at once the pace was quickened to a gallop. Four miles ahead lay Turkish trenches, many cleverly concealed even from aircraft reconnaissance and surrounded on nearby hills by machine gun and artillery positions.

'The Turkish defenders opened fire with shrapnel from long range but it was ineffective against the widely spaced horsemen.

'All this intensifying enemy fire only sped up the gallop. Years later Trooper Vic Smith remembered, “Of course we were scared, wishing to hell we weren't there, but out of it. But you couldn't drop out and leave your mates to it; you had to keep going on.”

'When the line of horsemen got within range of the Turkish riflemen in the trenches, they started to take casualties but the speed of the light horsemen’s approach was so surprising that once they were within half a mile of the trenches the defenders failed to allow for their speed, so the Turks' bullets started passing overhead as they forgot to adjust their sights.

'Or maybe it was the dust thrown up by the thundering hooves?

'About half-a-mile from the town, the Brigade began to overrun fugitive troops and guns.

'Some surrendered but others elected to fight and Light Horsemen here and there dismounted to capture them by rifle and bayonet. Led by two ground scouts about 80 yards ahead, the charge swept on. The light horsemen jumped the front trenches and dismounted behind the line where they fixed bayonets and engaged the Turks who were in many cases so demoralised that they quickly surrendered.

'The later waves continued through the town, which the Turks were abandoning in a panic. Isolated resistance in the town continued for a little while but by nightfall, the remainder of the garrison had been captured.

'So eight hundred Aussie light horsemen had achieved what 50,000 British troops could not do, what even Napoleon could not do. They had opened the doorway to Jerusalem.

'The road to Damascus

'That’s how the Gaza defensive line was broken on 31st October 1917.

'By December 1917 the Australian Light Horsemen rode triumphantly into Jerusalem, far from home, their emu feathers proudly fluttering in the breeze, to be greeted by cheering crowds of Jews and Christians.

'Centuries of Moslem rule was over."

You might like to see if you can find the classic black and white film by General Chauvel's nephew - 'Forty Thousand Horsemen', starring Chips Rafferty. (This one doesn't seem to have found its way onto the web yet, but it's worth a look).

Here's a modern song about it - 'Riding into Town'

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sQr_k_px42o

Same song blended very cleverly with footage from 'The Lighthorsemen'.

Pursuant to skeen's and my postings above.

All the regulars here know Sir Winston Churchill's inimitable and scathing critique of the barbarism of Islam, which features in the original 1899 edition of his book 'The River Wars'.

But there is another Churchill passage, from the same book, that bears remembering, especially on this occasion and in this thread, as we contemplate the hysterical barbarism of the Muslims as displayed even in the streets of Britain.

Churchill wrote:

"No terms but fight or death were offered. No reparation or apology could be made. . .

"The red light of retribution played on the bayonets and the lances,

"and civilization—

elsewhere sympathetic, merciful, tolerant, ready to discuss or to argue, eager to avoid violence, to submit to law, to effect a compromise—

here advanced with an expression of inexorable sternness,

"and rejecting all other courses, offered only the arbitration of the sword."

- Sir Winston Churchill, from ' The River Wars', that is, his account of the campaign against the fanatical forces of the slave-taking mass-murderous Mahdi in the Sudan in the late 19th century.

Churchill's modern countrymen are going to have to remember those words, I think, if they intend to remain free.

And if they do, the Muslims will never know what hit them.

Sounds like a "hate crime" against non-Muslims

when are the peoples of the west going to wake up...this is not extremism,
this is islam

Bewick, I hope this is just your frustration and anger speaking, and nothing more. I, for one, certainly don't believe that your "preservation doesn't much matter anymore", whatever your years—I value your comments very much.

In addition, anything rash you might have in mind would only hurt the cause of anti-Jihad. I can only imagine the mileage Jihadists and dhimmi apologists would get out of any such incident.

Maybe you could work with the English Defense League or some other group counter-protesting these Jihadists. It is easy to feel alone here, but I do believe that more Westerners—especially more Britons—are waking up to the Jihad threat.

No-one should be under the delusion that the "British" Government or the "British" Police would do anything about these muslim fanatics, why would they?, they share the muslims hatred of the British people!

Check out the ITV report of this incident (That's the commercial TV channel here in Britain), and you'll see Tommy Robinson of the EDL leap over the barrier and grab the Islamist flag before being arrested by our useless police "service" while the muslim fascists, as always, are allowed to go about their business of not only insulting us, but threatening us with violence!

The police in this country are regarded as nothing more than "filth", and will pay the price when the time comes!

I like your nom de plume.

Welsh, eh?

If you are, then maybe you'll know the story 'Where Arthur Sleeps', from Gwyn Jones' "Welsh Legends and Folktales" (1955; 1956), in the third section 'Tales Old and New'.

In this story a Wise Man and a Welshman enter a cave in Craig-y-Dinas. There they see,

"Hanging from the passage roof was a bronze bell the size of a beehive, with a clanger as long as your arm, and the Wise Man begged the Welshman on no account to touch it, for if he did, disaster would surely follow.

'Soon they reached the main cave...it was filled with warriors in bright armour and asleep on the floor. There was an outer ring of a thousand men, and an inner ring of a hundred, their heads to the wall and their feet to the centre, each with sword, shield, battle-axe and spear; and outermost of all lay their horses...And in the middle of them all lay a king and emperor at rest, as they knew by the splendour of his array and the jewelled crown beneath his hand and the awe and majesty of his person."

A little later on in the tale, "Who are these warriors?' asked the Welshman. 'And who is their sleeping king?

'"The King is Arthur, and those that surround him are the men of the Island of the Mighty.

'They sleep with their steeds and their arms because a day will come when land and sky shall cower at the clamour of a host,
'and the bell will tremble and ring, and then those warriors will ride out with Arthur at their head, and drive their foes headlong into the sea, and there shall be justice and peace among men for as long as the world endures.'"

Perhaps the bell in the Cave of the Sleepers is beginning to tremble, and swing, and ring.

It had better.

re. this business in London.

I had heard that someone from the EDL crossed to 'remonstrate' (Esmerelda Weatherwax's term) with the jihadists, but not that he had actually seized the Muslim flag (if it was black with arabic writing on it in white, it would have been the 'black flag of jihad').

I must say that burning that abominable rag, which is an open declaration of war on the streets of London, would have been perfect tit for tat.

Reciprocity.

Muslims don't understand or practise 'Doasyouwouldbedoneby', so it's time and past time for them to slam up against Mrs Bedonebyasyoudid (see Kingsley's "the Water Babies" for the reference).

I *like* Tommy Robinson.

Certainly I thought his speech in Leeds 2009 that was reproduced at New English Review awhile ago, was as good as anything by Geert Wilders:

http://www.newenglishreview.org/blog_direct_link.cfm/blog_id/24074

'Transcript of Speech delivered by Tommy Robinson (of the EDL) in Leeds on 31 October 2009'.

And while we're on the subject of morale.

For all *new* British posters here, especially the lurkers who haven't quite decided whether to take a nom de plume and step out into the comments floor.

A very interesting article that I found some time ago.

It's all good. The first part has to do with game strategy, and should get you thinking about how to deal with the Muslim cheaters.

But what really matters here, today, is the bit that talks about 'remnant'.

http://pajamasmedia.com/ejectejecteject/2007/05/21/you-are-not-alone-part-1/

Now, to return to story-telling.

I am going to repost something I posted in a thread that discussed the arrest of a couple of EDL protesters in Dudley, earlier this year.

"Speaking of Excalibur, and the waking of Arthur; we should also remember Alfred.

"There was that spectacular archaeological 'find' last year - the Staffordshire Hoard.

http://www.newenglishreview.org/blog_direct_link.cfm/blog_id/23228

This is what I wrote, then:

"...isn't it a beautiful coincidence, lifting the hairs on the back of the neck, that *this* - this very masculine and military treasure hoard of sword hilts and sword pommel caps and other warrior paraphernalia, more spectacular than Sutton Hoo - should be found *now*?

"Sutton Hoo itself - the ship-grave of an ancient Anglo-Saxon warrior - was found in...1939. Just before the war with the Nazis erupted.

"And now...with the menace of the Third Jihad growing daily, and with Mohammedans swarming all over Britain, what happens?

"*This* is found - just down the road from Mohammedan-infested Birmingham.

"Sure, call me a hopeless romantic; but it does feel almost as though, as it did in 1939, the earth of Britain itself has spoken to warn and encourage the people;

"as though the Warrior Ancestors are standing there holding out their swords by the hilt across a gulf of thirteen hundred years to the British of today and saying - "Remember who you are. Remember where you came from. Take our swords! "'
