No one should be surprised that the Islam Channel did this. Beating is recommended for disobedient women in Qur'an 4:34, and the anti-Israel, pro-Hamas line stems from Islam's deeply ingrained antisemitism, as per Qur'an 5:82. As for marital rape, they were just being true to the teachings of Muhammad, who said: "If a husband calls his wife to his bed [i.e. to have sexual relation] and she refuses and causes him to sleep in anger, the angels will curse her till morning" (Bukhari 4.54.460). He also said: "By him in Whose Hand lies my life, a woman can not carry out the right of her Lord, till she carries out the right of her husband. And if he asks her to surrender herself [to him for sexual intercourse] she should not refuse him even if she is on a camel's saddle" (Ibn Majah 1854).
Also unsurprising is that British authorities are shocked, because they are totally clueless.

A lunar year is about 355 days long, which means that Aisha may actually have been eight.

And then of course there is the increasingly infamous Qur'an verse that specifies a waiting period for prepubescent and post-menopausal females to remarry after being divorced. There is no waiting period if the marriage was not consummated (See Quran 33:49). Thus the Qur'an assumes consummation with prepubescent girls. The purpose of the waiting period (3 months), is so that if the female should become pregnant, it will be known whether the father is the old husband or the new one.
Qur'an Chapter 65, Verse 4:
And (as for) those of your women who have despaired of menstruation, if you have a doubt, their prescribed time shall be three months, and of those too who have not had their courses; and (as for) the pregnant women, their prescribed time is that they lay down their burden; and whoever is careful of (his duty to) Allah He will make easy for him his affair.

It's the CULTURE silly.
Here in the UK we allow the likes of the Islam Channel (or whatever it is called) We have Freesat and Sky which both deliver "cultural" channels in the language of choice.
I have some very good Sikh friends who, by and large, are more English than the English. Except. They were both BORN in the UK but the wife at least still relates to India, and dresses as though still there. She tells me that western clothes would make her look fat. (we have a good relationship and she will tell me these things)
She has only been to India once. The 13 year old daughter dresses western style and doesn't really speak Punjabi. The 2.5 year old son though is virtually bi-lingual (when one can understand him). The real issue with this is that both grandmothers hardly speak any English even though having lived here for 40 + years. So they continue the cultural difference.And so it goes on.
It is worsened by a few issues. The spouses of siblings have been imported from India and hardly speak English. The Mother-in-law tends to live with my friends and hardly speaks English and spends the day watching Punjabi language TV programmes.
Better. In the cultural norm her husband left everything to his sons and nothing to her. Culturally the sons are obliged to provide for her. Although a RICH family this woman claims benefits, because she "has no money" but is building a mansion (with marble and much else) in India (HOW?) and travels there several times a year. I can't afford that. How can she.
As for tax. Well they still believe , erroneously, that tax is not payable in India and so use every tax avoidance (legal) and tax evasion (illegal) measure available.
MANY purchases are funded from the till in their shop reducing their profits (hence tax) and making many of their purchases cost half of what I have to pay. They see nothing wrong with this. They tell me, culturally, that WE earned the money in the till. Old (cultural) habits die hard.
Now Sikhs, and Hindus, are but a small proportion of the UK's immigrant population. Most are Pakistani, Bangladeshi and Somali. The latter two groups are in the main living on benefits and not working but procreating at an alarming rate. (Jizzya?).
Not ALL Pakistanis and Bangladeshis run businesses but the new Mercs and Land Rovers and BMWs show who do. Their opulence isn't just from hard work!!! The businesses they run (mainly corner shops) don't deliver that kind of wealth if taxes are paid.
Last night I watched a Channel 4 programme about 2 firms in Leicester in the textile trade. From the names the owners were Pakistani and Muslim.
They were paying CASH IN HAND at half minimum wage. They apparently produced "payslips" showing minimum wage.
They never asked for any proof of "right to work in the UK". Massive con with massive tax evasion benefit.
Cultural is what Is suggest. I hope that our version of IRNS is now pursuing them.
