White House warns that more jihad mail bombs could be coming as White House Muslim envoy decries "scapegoating" of Islam

Sometimes it's just a case of poor timing.

"White House: could be more mail bombs," from AP, October 31:

WASHINGTON (AP) - President Barack Obama's counterterrorism adviser said Sunday that authorities "have to presume" there might be more potential mail bombs like the ones pulled from planes in England and the United Arab Emirates....

"Obama adviser decries anti-Islam sentiments," by Niraj Warikoo for the Detroit Free Press, October 31:

Speaking to about 400 people in Livonia, President Barack Obama's envoy to the Muslim world said there is a "disturbing rise in anti-Islamic sentiment" that may be caused in part by the poor economy.

"The things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith," Rashad Hussain,
Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, said Saturday night at the annual fund-raising dinner of the Institute for Social Policy and Understanding, a Muslim-founded think tank based in Clinton Township. "During tough economic times, groups that are seen to be the other ... the scapegoating can increase."...

Or maybe the economy could be just dandy and Americans would still be slightly annoyed by the prospect of Islamic jihadists sending bombs via UPS to synagogues in Chicago. Or storming a church in Baghdad and murdering 58 people. Or maybe they're annoyed by the Fort Hood jihad shooting, the Arkansas recruiting center jihad shooting, the Christmas underwear bomb jihad attempt, the Times Square jihad car bomb attempt, the Fort Dix jihad plot, the North Carolina jihad plot, the Seattle jihad shooting, the JFK Airport jihad plot, and on and on.

Might all this violence and attempted violence perpetrated by Muslims in the name of Islam account for some of this "scapegoating"? Naaah, couldn't be -- it must just be rampant and spreading "Islamophobia"!

"The things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith," Rashad Hussain,
Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, said Saturday."

That's more true than you realize, Rashad.

Brennan couldn't find his ass with a 12-man posse.

They're "mail bombs" because they can't say they're probably flying bombs meant to be detonated over cities by players on the ground. That would scare the crap out of people, who'd demand that something be done to end the threat. Since Chicago Jesus has no intention of eliminating the threat, the excuse is that terrorists have gone postal.

President Barack Obama's envoy to the Muslim world said there is a "disturbing rise in anti-Islamic sentiment" that may be caused in part by the poor economy.

Sure, we'll just eliminate all this "Islam-scapegoating" by shutting them off into exile, banning all flights from Islamic problem countries (there are a lot of them!), suspend economic aid to same, and just let them 'carry on' in their merry-murders-Jihadways all they want, no business of ours what they do in their 'economically' affected areas. If our 'poor' economies cause them anti-Islam concern, they can go back to where they came from, and enjoy tending camels and goats when Western technological aid withdraws.

"Scapegoating" is Bedu code for the 'lovely desert sandscapes where they tend goats'.

The "Islam is blamed for the crisis in the West" is suddenly becoming very popular among Islamists. Apparently "Islamophobia" was so much last week that a new whine is needed. Anyone with an idea who have brought it up?

As I recall, the economy was better on September 10, 2001 than it is now.

Then Islam got some bad publicity for some reason. It was because the economy took a turn for the worse, right?

"The things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith,"

Classic kitman.

The opposite is in fact the truth: The things you can say about any other faith you can't say about islam.

Not unless you want death threats, riots, murders of "insulters" of islam, lawsuits.

Unless, of course, the things you can say are: it's a cult of misogyny, it's founder was a disgusting example of humanity, it's a racist, supremacist, retrograde force...Then yes, you can say those things about islam but if you say them about other faiths they're all lies.

LOL - I was thinking the exact same thing.

These two-bit taqiyya-artists are so unintentionally funny when they try to be clever...

"The things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith"

yeah, so right. Very much so. Indeed. Dead center that one.
But in the interest of mutual understanding, dialogue and an understandable fear of repercussions etc etc people usually keep their opinions to themselves.

The jihad on the United States of America will rise sharply, as our nation retreats in defeat from both Iraq and Afghanistan, just as Reagan's cowardly run from Lebanon after the mass-murder of US Marines there in 1983 led to deadly jihad against the Americans that had no precedent in history and that ran through the rest of Reagan's disgraceful presidency, with the Grand Finale Spectacular over Lockerbie, Scotland on Dec. 21, 1988, at the end of it. And the jihad just went on after Reagan was gone, culminating with 9/11.
Ever since the Democrat primary voters had committed a horrible blunder on this nation's bicentennial, in 1976, by rejecting the great Sen. Henry "Scoop" Jackson and nominating Carter instead, a curse befell this nation, that continues to this day.
And just 2 years ago, the Republican primary voters had committed an even more horrible blunder by rejecting the great Rudy Giuliani, the one and only man who could break the Carter curse.
With this kind of electorate, it is hard to be optimistic on this nation's future.

""The things you can say about Islam you can't say about any other faith," Rashad Hussain,Special Envoy to the Organization of the Islamic Conference, said Saturday night."

I zeroed in on this, too. Rashad Hussain has the special distinction of being both a Hafiz (can recite the entire Qur'an in Arabic from memory) and one of those over-credentialed Ivy League lawyers Obama seems to like.

From his Wikipedia bio: "Hussain completed a bachelor’s degree in two years, in both philosophy and political science, from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he was elected to Phi Beta Kappa. His philosophy thesis was titled "Assessing the Theistic Implications of Big Bang Cosmological Theory." He holds a Masters degree in Arabic & Islamic Studies from Harvard University, and a J.D. from Yale Law School. At Yale, he served as an editor of the Yale Law Journal."

Rashad Hussain is potentially a dangerous man. He is Obama's Special Envoy to the OIC and in a position where his loyalties to the United States will be tested against his loyalties to Islam. On matters where there may be a difference of opinion between the U.S. and OIC on matters such as human rights, does anyone here think that Hussain will not yield to the gentle tugs to the heart given by his OIC coreligionists, to the detriment of the West? I don't.

"the Theistic Implications of Big Bang Cosmological Theory"

Is that a cleverer version of Moustafa Zayed's Quran Science where pictures from the Hubble Space Telescope of the Eagle Nebula are made out to have been foretold by some Quranic saying about "the towers in the sky"? Or a photo of a mummy, Moses' Pharaoh: "oh look, see! his left hand is raised against the mountain of water!!"
I like it very much when Mr. Zayed mentions Robert Spencer's "absurdities".

Yeah, potentially a cleverer man can do damage if his loyalties are elsewhere, if it is deemed acceptable that his loyalties are elsewhere. This reminds me very much of the early 1500s and the European kings contra the Papal Seat: you had to make certain your loyalty was not in doubt or it was the nearest block. Which is no longer the case.

Sometimes it's just a case of poor timing."

Hey, Everybody--Happy "October Surprise!!!" These bombs would have been a perfect excuse for martial law, but islamic ineptitude and the Grace of God saved us once again.

See y'all at the polls!!!

I could say that islam got about 170 patents during the time Korea got about 70,000 patents. The common moslems are generally poor because they are uneducated. Hussain memorized the koran. So what? Can he recite just 1 economic principle? The only way he, or the moHAMmedan rabble, can partake of the goodies they see all around them is to TAKE them from those who have earned them. About the only employment they are capable of is goat herding or bomb making.

Ah, Boston Tea Party, how I wish you coulda been there to stand up and say that to Rashad!! You'd have brought the house down. Well, maybe not - probably a lotta DD's in attendance - deluded Dems . . .

oh please oh please oh please can't we finally CLOSE THE DOORS ON THESE MISCREANT PIGS? There really is no need for additional immigration of this ilk, or this ik's ilk following in the ilk's path.
