That's it. Nothing follows to elaborate on action taken, or on where the line is drawn for "extremism." The boilerplate is in order, and the article moves on. "Sweden suicide bombings: Luton synonymous with Islamic extremism and racial tension," from the Telegraph, December 13:
Two years ago a leaked British intelligence report identified the town as being home to one of the main concentrations of extremists in the country.
It has a long and troubled history. In 2004 two of the most notorious terrorist cells in British history met at the Toddington service station just north of Luton.
The leaders of the fertiliser bombers, who were plotting a campaign to rival September 11 terror attacks, and the July 7 bombers met on at least two occasions, watched by MI5.
The middle man, Mohammed Quayam Khan, was on the surface of model of respectability. He worked as a taxi driver and at a café in the centre of Luton and lived with his children in the Bury Park district, a largely Muslim area.
At the same time, however, he was allegedly liaising with al-Qaeda and helped them to set up a training camp in Pakistan. He has never been arrested.
The July 7 bombers, based in West Yorkshire, met in Luton on the day of the attacks in 2005, abandoning their cars at the station to catch the train south.

In 2001 two young men were killed fighting in Afghanistan, one of whom was the brother of Salahuddin Amin, a member of the fertiliser bomber gang.
At one stage Abu Hamza, the radical cleric now in jail, is said to have lived in the town and Omar Bakri Mohammed, another extremist, was a regular visitor until he was banned from returning to Britain soon after the July 2005 bombings.
The concentration of extremists has exacerbated racial tensions. In March 2009, soldiers from the Royal Anglian Regiment were marching through Luton when they were subjected to a tirade of abuse from a group of Muslim men who called them murderers, rapists and baby killers. Five of the men were later convicted of being abusive....
The longer our western governments delay identifying the problem (ie that ISLAM is the source of all this terrorist violence) and dealing with it decisively, the bigger the problem becomes (because of muslim higher birth rates). Ultimately we are headed toward civil war within each of the former western democracies that continue to appease Islamic demands!
Luton is part of the British tribal areas, similar to those in Pakistan where the government allowed extremism to flourish and the police more or less withdrew because of fears of inflaming tensions. The town is a disgrace and an area no one in their right minds would consider visiting. Luton is a hotbed of extremism and the presence of the Stockholm terrorist in the town is no surprise whatsoever.
I heard the local head/spokesman for Muslims in Luton on BBC (domestic) Radio 4. He said that local Muslims had tried to reason with this extremist but it didn't work. He said that the security services were to blame for not spotting him and that local Muslims might have been able to do better if they had spoken (to the terrorist) more. He said it was not their job to report their concerns outside the Muslim community.
Considering how this society has bent backwards in appeasement of Muslim demands they can't claim that they are not given a hearing.
In fairness I should say that a few years ago the members of one mosque did report their extremists to the police and no action was taken.
Political correctness is becoming the death-knell of a once comfortable society. A very ugly group calling itself "Muslims against Crusades" (MAC) is going around East London putting up posters saying Christmas is evil Anarchists are going around tearing them down.
There's plenty of activity in the undergrowth but a universal deaf ear in Parliament.

Inspite of proof, if no arrest was made, then UK is in deeper sh*t than i thought.
I hope at least now France and UK will stop apeasement and make a new beginning.
Its still not too late to take a U-turn and return to pre-political-correctness sanity.
