A Jordanian woman gained tremendous fame after refusing to receive a group of Israeli tourists at her restaurant in protest of the crimes of the Jewish state against the Palestinian people.Several professional associations and rights organizations praised the action taken by Salwa al-Barghouti when she decided to kick Israeli tourists out of her restaurant in the coastal city of al-Aqaba, 370 kilometers off the capital Amman.
Barghouti represents all the Jordanian people in their rejection of the Zionist state, said Maysara Malas, head of the Higher Executive Committee for Anti-Normalization.
"Many Jordanians take similar actions, yet nobody knows about them because the media doesn't know what they do," he added.
News of Barghouti's stance spread all over Jordan and shortly after, she made headlines and several media outlets vied for posting her statements.
"I heard customers entering the restaurants speak Hebrew," she told the press. "I felt extremely angry and remembered all the crimes Israel is committing against Palestinians, so I asked them to leave."
Barghouti said she does not approve of the strong attention that was given to her action by the media.
"I am against dealing with Zionists in any possible way and I see this as very normal."
The Israeli tourists who were kicked out, Barghouti added, filed a complaint against her and she was summoned by state security.
"They asked me to sign a document pledging not to mistreat tourists or kick them out of my restaurant again, but I refused."
Barghouti insisted on her stance and stressed that she will act in the same way if a similar situation takes places.
"My position will never change and I will never allow Israelis into my restaurant," she concluded.

Why would anyone want to tour a Muslim infected country?
in my own little way, and in my very narrow "vertical market" any muslim who asks for my services gets "special quotations" with demands for payments in advance.
I advise anyone todo the same, cab/taxi companies tend to use muslim drivers or not. and there are 2 different types of "Indian" restaurants, those with a halal sign and those that are vegetarian. Simple little choices anyone can make every day.
Cause unlike this muslim these jews were not gonna discriminate it seems.
Notice to Islamic restaurant owners - If Jews are not welcome in your establishment, then I will be boycotting it.

Funny she didn't mention Jordan was founded on 78% of the Palestine mandate. Funny she also forgot to mention that little incident in the 70s when Palestinian guerrilas together with Syria tried to overthrow Jordan, and king Hussein asked Israel to stop the Syrian troops from invading Jordan.

Do you mean that you charge Muslims more than non-Muslims for a business service? That's not right. It doesn't do anyone any good to be inequitable like the Jordanian woman in this story.
Iran should have been a prosperous and advanced country, if it was managed by a proper government. Iran has oil revenue - that money should have been invested in creating advanced industries, in education, in scientific research, in diverse technology fields, in developing advanced infrastructures for the benefit of the Iranian people. Instead it's invested in huge forces to preserve the regime against the will of the people and to enforce strict Islamic law up to the smallest minutiae of government sanctioned dress code, in supporting terrorism in various places around the world, in exporting the Islamic revolution and competing for domination of the Muslim world. Iran could have become a regional power also by investing in its development, economy and culture, becoming strong through such efforts and assuming a leadership position this way, but that's not the regime's way. It's such a waste.
I've talked to quite a few Iranian women online, though they were living in the West, not in Iran, so I have no idea how representative they were. But they all hated the regime, had a modern outlook on life, were feminists, they didn't even hate Israel. It was one of the experiences that broke the spell of cultural relativism for me, because when you just see women wearing headscarfs you assume they do it out of faith, out of their own free will, and there's nothing wrong with that. But when you talk with women who are just like you in their outlook you imagine yourself in their place and you begin to realize how much they suffer and suffocate under the tyranny now controling Iran.
Gaddafi should ask for this aid from Saudi Arabia. After all the Saudis are so generous they contribute money even to American and European universities, finance Middle East studies and countless mosques in the rich west that can do pretty well without their contributions, so surely they could spare some to help their Muslim brethren in Libya so they wouldn't immigrate en mass to Dar al Harb where their purity might be jeopardized by kaffir ways.

I feel extremely angry and remember the crimes of 9/11 that MUSLIMS committed against all free people. That doesn't mean that, if I was a shopkeeper in America, I would be able to refuse service to Muslims, or people who "look Muslim," or people whom I perceived to be Muslim, without getting fined thousands of dollars by my State's Human Rights division. In America, you cannot refuse service to someone because they're lesbian, Muslim, Jewish, or anything.
However, that DOES NOT MEAN that I cannot speak out against them, and express views that offend them. Only kicking them out because they belonged to a protected minority status group would land me in trouble, only then would I have committed ACTUAL discrimination, and the State would be on me.
But under no circumstances would I be required to make it a "pleasant" dining experience. So let's see: I can't kick them out because that's actual discrimination and the State would be on me, I can't poison their food because they'll shut down my (theoretical) restaurant and also sue me for poisoning them.
So what can I do? How can I, a Western business owner, resist? Simple. Take a chair next to them, and as they dine, quote passages from Robert Spencer's books, talk about the horrors and atrocities of Islam, proselytize Christianity, and try to get them to "change their views," knowing it is futile.
Non-violent, non-discriminatory, non-harassing resistance. Engage them in civil discourse and offend them. They don't have a right to "not be offended." They could file complaints with the State Human Rights department, but they would not win in court, because they would be unable to prove bona fide discrimination.
Make it an "uncomfortable dining experience" for them. CAIR would still hound me and claim Islamophobia, but I would have my bases covered. I have not committed actual discrimination by kicking them out. I have served them their food. But I am under no obligation to respect them or "not offend" them.
Why any Israelis would want to holiday in Jordan is beyond me.
When a Muslim state does something it's not representative of the people of that country. When the Israeli government displeases it is not every Jewish Israeli citizen who is blamed but everyone even of Jewish descent in the whole world. The problem is, Muslims do tend to act like spoilt children kicking up tantrums whenever the slightest thing doesn't go their way, that's why they are where they are.
There is great irony in the fact that were an Israeli Jew to kick an Arab or Muslim out of his or her establishment, the Israeli courts would be set into motion against the offender for having violated Israeli non-discrimination laws.
