It won't be long until Mahoundians in Oklahoma at least, start demanding an end to co-ed classrooms in public schools...And because sharia compliance is legal, or will be, they may get it...especially if Judge Vicki rules, or if the issue of sharia versus the US Constitution goes to the SCOTUS where a 'wise Latino woman' will rule on it...
I don't think any teachers will be murdered over it, what might be murdered is the Constitution...A lot of activist judges would like to do just that...

This story pretty-much sums-up the sorry state at which we've arrived. Teachers in the West tout multi-culti, equivalizing, "acceptance" to our kids. Meanwhile, their teaching-brethren in the muslim world are being murdered--murdered by those very people our teachers tell our kids should be accepted and celebrated. Murdered because they're teachers! Which makes for a nice circle of poetic injustice; teachers support savages, savages murder teachers. Sort-of Karmic, in an ugly, islamic way. And the wheel spins on...

Huge demarcation? Odd how Muslims pride themselves in following Shari'a to the letter. If, by interpretation of Shari'a you mean that 'death for apostasy' can be interpreted as meaning something else, do tell!

And as for your personal observations in the classroom, they fly in the face of decades of studies that show that girls in a classroom calm boys down who would otherwise compete with each other to be the class buffoon.

Finally, separating the genders does not make you a terrorist. But doing so because the death cult Islam demands it, does. Or, at the very least, an active sympathiser of jihad and jihadists.

We are not told, in the article, what age the girls and boys are, in these mixed classes. I am assuming, primary school age.

So Shawn thinks, perchance, that little prepubescent girls and little prepubescent boys - say, from age 5 to age 10 - are going to be 'distracted' by one another (sexually?) and must be separated. Ridiculous.

And in any case: what is happening here, so far as I can tell from the report, is that teachers who have committed this heinous crime of teaching mixed-gender classes of - most likely - primary-age kids, ARE BEING ASSASSINATED.

Shawn is not saying a word about that. Or does he think that in the interests of improving educational outcomes, people with guns should march into the elementary classrooms of the West and murder the teachers who are - shock! horrors! - teaching little boys in the same room as little girls ?

And note that he is blowing the usual smokescreen, claiming that the murder of teachers in Pakistan for the crime of teaching non-segregated classes is the result of non-Islamic 'tribal' ideas, or of misinterpretation of the Islamic texts (never mind that rigid and obsessive segregation by gender, beginning at an early age, is seen all over the Islamic world and especially in the most devoutly-Islamic portions of it, such as Saudi Arabia).

Funny, isn't it, that certain kinds of behaviours and practices, routinely dismissed by apologists for Islam as 'tribal', or as hangovers from pre-Islamic days, or as misinterpretations of Islam, seem to follow Islam around everywhere it goes, manifesting persistently among widely-separated peoples, speaking different languages, with wildly different ethnicities and wildly-different pre-Islamic histories and belief-systems, whose only significant common feature is...Islam.

Even assuming this were the case—some studies in the West seem to show that high school students do better academically in same-sex classrooms, and some studies don't—do you have any issues with Jihadists *slaughtering teachers* to supposedly make this point? Apparently not.

In addition, I hardly think I would use the most pious parts of Dar-al-Islam to make such a point. Do you really believe that places such as Afghanistan, which has often forbidden gender mixing in classrooms, does so in order to *boost test scores*? I think not. Instead, this is one of regions with the highest rates of illiteracy on earth.
